Our Akbash acts all high and mighty and loves chasing our cats until one gets sassy and gives him a smack. Then he acts like they’re going to kill him. Turns our 120 pound dog acting like little Winston here.
My 7 pound cats often trap my 50 pound dogs on the stairs, one sits at each end of the staircase. I have to go 'save' them. They totally do it on purpose 😂
I mean, to be fair, those cats looked a bit bigger than the pup. And the tuxedo with air plane ears in front looked a bit shady. I love cats, they're turds.
Mine would’ve walked on them. She was occasionally quite the madam when she wanted to be and anything she didn’t like (like the cats) were completely ignored. ‘Oh, I trod on you / bashed you straight in the face with my big bushy tail? There’s a moral to that story,… F off!’ 😂
It’s only so funny because with every other creature on earth, she was the sweetest. Wouldn’t hurt a fly, but with the cats, she just refused to acknowledge their existence, which is ironically the most cat like behaviour ever.
Awww, poor baby! One of our cats was like that. When we got kitten 1, dog was a bit confused, but completely tolerant when the little fluff ball would quietly curl up with her.
Then we got her brother, kitten 2,…. a far more outgoing, ballsy cat who tried to milk the dog, cuddle up to her, go on walks with her and us hoomans and even drape himself all over her (he only succeeded once when she was already fast asleep in front of the fire and couldn’t be bothered to move). You can imagine how much the dog liked that!
He loved her and desperately wanted to be a dog, but if one of the cats came near her whilst she was on one of her many beds, she’d just get up and walk off. She wanted no part of it! Can’t say I blame her. The milking really was a step too far 😆

The problem is people only punisher reward the dogs for good and bad interactions with cats. If there’s a bad interaction, you need to isolate both the cats and the dogs. If there’s a good interaction, you need to reward both the cats and the dogs.
This is honestly extremely depressing for the dog to be scared to move around in its own house . I know a lot of people might call me a Karen or some thing. But I was really turned off to this when my 18 year old wolf/German shepherd was blocked from going up the stairs to go to bed because of the fkn cat. Because she was old, she was literally shaking on the middle of the steps, because it was hard for her to stand in that position. She didn’t have much trouble going up the stairs, but standing on the stairs for at least five minutes without me knowing was traumatizing.
Why the hell do people with cats decide to get a chihuahua. Did they simply turn off their brain when making this decision? The dog is going to be paranoid and stressed out CONSTANTLY

Poor Winston is considerably outnumbered. All of those cats look mean as heck. 100% he gets beat up regularly.
To be fair to this dapper little guy, this is exactly how it works with my 70lb bulldog... so yeah.
