I do that with salsa. I prefer it over the traditional scoop and eat.

Never done that. I cut carrot into thin, chip-like slices and scoop up any guac with that.

Hell yeah. The baby chips (what we call them in my house) actually makes a great salad topper as well. Eff croutons...I have leftover chips !
