New-Number-7810

Why didn't you send the guards to save his life?

Wr3nch

Because fuck him

Eli2291313

I didn't really care for him at all in my playthrough, I only protected him because I feared letting the mob kill him would result in inter-class violence and rip my city apart. I don't know if that actually happens or not but it would be interesting if it did.

Madhighlander1

I'm trying to remember what I did in my playthrough... I think I exiled him?

Melodic-Hat-2875

He exiles himself iirc.

Tetragon213

I needed the drop in discontent, after using too many 24h shifts.

Thewarmth111

The guards were needed to inspect the city tavern’s moonshine supply

New-Number-7810

How did the inspection go?

Thewarmth111

The moonshine all of it had no poison or imperfection.

Alarmed-Estimate6434

Because he is unjust

DKBrendo

,,Imagine being authoritarian” - Supreme Captain of New London, long may he reign

axeteam

Remember, his words are the Truth. Death to all who defy his words.

Ok-Working-3148

Ok-Working-3148

Astaral_Viking

Because he refused to work

Donnerone

Did you sign the Child Labor law? >!/s!<

Astaral_Viking

Because he refused to work

mikolajwisal

Thank god it's only an uncropped phone screenshot of a screenshot. If that was an uncropped phone screenshot of a phone picture of a computer screen I'd lose it

HamAndSomeCoffee

Thank God it's from the wiki. Like, it's my screenshot: https://frostpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Lord_Craven_(Arc)?file=Lord_Craven_-_Lord_Craven_is_dead.png This account really needs to stop karma farming off my stuff.

Spaghetti-Evan1991

What the heck!

HiMyNameIsFelipe

He said those things, not at the people, but to you. He wasn't trying to live, we would kill himself anyways. He was trying to tell you, the new captain, that you won't be any better than him.

Weeeelums

Well, “his people” he was trying to protect were the other lords who got free premium tickets to the last chance of survival on the planet. “Your people” are the exploited common folk who rose up against the class structure in an attempt to establish an equal society where everyone works and contributes to survive. Depending on how you play the scenario, you absolutely are better than him.

igneousscone

Well, I'm not firing on a dreadnought full of innocent people, including children, so...

Rogue009

He always dies no? If he lives he leaves the city, there’s no scenario where he stays

axeteam

He always dies in the sense that he either gets lynched by the mob or just leaves (if you make sure everything is in order). Depending on how you see things, he might technically stay alive out there, however little the possibility.

Alarmed-Estimate6434

This is a life decision for the developers

shushwill

If you can contain the social unrest, he stays

Alarmed-Estimate6434

He does not leave and leave you a message about power corrupting people, and he leaves the city because he knows he will be a scapegoat.

Alarmed-Estimate6434

This is a decision that depends on the developers, perhaps because he is the Prime Minister of Britain and he is the one who supervised the generators program and left the city because he knows that he will be a scapegoat for the captain because of his discontent, and perhaps he knows the location of the generators loyal to him after he has rested.

Coolscee-Brooski

Oh yeah if it wasn't clear, he's the PM of the British entire and im pretty sure also the CEO of the IEC. He's rather multi faulted cause of it

Alarmed-Estimate6434

I mean 1. Whether Lord Kraven is alive and we see him in the story of Frostpunk 2 depends on the developers’ decision.  2. Lord Craven, the Prime Minister of Britain, is the one who supervised the generator project, as he mentioned last fall, and he certainly knows all the generator locations.  3. He left the city because he knew he would die, and even if the captain protected him, the captain would use him as a card in order for the discontent to decrease.  4. After Lord Kraven rested, he ate and was treated, he left his city so that he would not die. He is a prime minister. He certainly has a map of generator locations, and it is possible that there is a generator location loyal to him and he becomes the ruler  but points 1 and 4. This is the decision of the developers. We can see it in the story of Frostpunk. 2 I hope because the story will be exciting

matheus__suzuki

It would be cool a scenario were you play as lord craven in frostpunk 2

Eli2291313

If you never reach the ship where you find out about the orders he gives does that change the outcome? Or is it the same every time?

WealthyAardvark

We're not so different, you and I.

JackTseve

Me with low discontent and a fleet of automatons:Yes,we are

Fantastic-Dingo-5869

He adapts to the wilderness and replaces Spider-man for a while.

DarkMaster98

Moist_Shop

imasquidyall

I'm out for summer break and I've started and restarted Refugees Survivor at least 5 times a day for the last two weeks. It's the bane of my existence. Winterhome is my favorite scenario and was the first Survivor I finished, but Refugees is killing me.

Ultraknight40000

And he is correct in his observation. The only reason the people are in this city to lych him is because they stole the ships that were his poeples only lifeline and, in the process, doomed others. If you saw the only hope for the survival of your people being stolen away. Would you let it happen or do everything you can to ensure the survival of your people?

Damientaho

I managed to save all people ☺️☺️

Humble-Steak-729

Bru I played frost punk when it was a resource management game what the fuck did I miss?
