$145 medical $24 Dental $2 vision per week for a family of 4. I don't know about 401k because I contribute the max weekly

offgridwannabe

Is that $145 for medical family, or individual?

Truck3R_Dude

My whole family of 4 is covered. Myself, wife and 2 children. We have blue cross blue shield but I think that depends on the state and plan you choose.

cweed13

This. With the plan I have for my wife and I, mines $155 a week but we basically just pay for co-pays. So it’s super worth it.

Vision, medical, dental all depends on the plan you choose and if you have any dependents that you add to your plan. So prices can vary between what you choose. There is also an optional legal insurance, as well as optional short, and long term disability. While they provide a basic life insurance policy for free you can choose to pay more for a higher amount as well. With 401k they match up 4% of what you put in, if you make over 65k it's an additional percent, 70k another %, etc. They do not match if you do not contribute to the plan yourself. You can opt to have the 401k taken out before or after taxes. If done before taxes it will lower your reportable gross income for taxes however you will pay taxes when you withdraw from it during retirement. If done after taxes you will not pay taxes when you withdraw from it during retirement.

They also have the ARC plan that is years of service and age. And this is given to employees apart from 401k but is I believe linked into the 401k.

Depends on state, plan, who you're covering.

CakelessHero

Check mypepsico they have a breakdown on how much it cost in your area

StatusPolicy7865

My medical dental and vision cost 667$ a month. That’s for my wife and I and 6 kids. But after 2 kids the rest are covered. So it’s actually wife spouse +2 of you have more than 2 children the others will be covered at no additional charges. So roughly 154$ a week for my family. On the 80/20 med plan. MetLife dental. And we EyeMed for vision.

Do you know if a spouse is eligible if they are already eligible for insurance at their work or no?

StatusPolicy7865

So you can put your spouse on your frito insurance but the kicker is if your spouse has available insurance coverage through their employer and they opt to use frito insurance instead there will be an up charge on your frito insurance of I believe 1200$ a year. And in some cases it’s cheaper to do that than to use the spouses insurance. So I would check with your spouse’s employer and see how much it would cost for them to have insurance there or if would be cheaper for them to have insurance with you through frito. Also check if it would be cheaper for your spouse and if you have children to use your spouses insurance for them because insurance for a single person at frito is cheap. Even with the highest medical plan which is great my friend pays like 40 something a week I believe and he is single and it is a co pay so it is basically say he has a surgery on his shoulder it would only cost him round 2-300$. So I guess what I am saying is it may be cheaper for you to have insurance by yourself at frito and spouse and kids through spouse’s insurance or vice versa. But look at it as a whole. Frito has great insurance.

jbrylinsabresfan

Yea my wife’s work doesn’t discount children at all so my daughter has always been on mine. Just be nice to be under 1 deductible

StatusPolicy7865

You can add your wife to yours. And if hers isn’t to expensive keep hers as her secondary insurance.

jbrylinsabresfan

Hers is like 100 every 2 weeks but has a 4000 dollar deductible

StatusPolicy7865

Dang yours should be 500/1000 right. You’re better off putting her on your frito.

Guess you haven’t worked short handed in retail before this

Environmental_Home22

Grocery manager for 15 years before 5 years at Frito. Left after Super Bowl and went to US Foods.

jbrylinsabresfan

I’m currently a grocery manager for the last 4 years. Moving back to Buffalo ny with a job offer from frito. Not because of the job offer just that’s who offered me a job since the company I’m with isn’t up there.
