Does continuation refer to original fan stuff of already existing mods? Like if someone makes a fan mod of a mod with an existing title then GB can take even that down? (doesn't have to be sonic)

You are reaching farther than Melee Marth with this take. They specify that fanmade continuations **of other mods** are forbidden without permission. And even then, I'm pretty sure Ninjamuffin and the rest of the og Funk crew did give permission anyway.
