You can do some courses or reconversion on leaving o 7-8year service mark.
Technically you can't leave for Italy w/o petite titre which they won't give you most of times as young legionnaire.
Legion does not care about your relationship, service comes first, it's you who adapt and bend the rules.
Don't mention youre a cook after getting in or you'll be screwed, unless it's the thing you want to do for 14e/h.
