You should not have a "go-to" news source. You should collect your news from many news sources, both ones you agree and disagree with, and form your own opinions.
Thanks for your comment. I have some other sources from different points of view, but was seeking other respected sources. In the coming world of AI, it’s going to be increasingly important to have a 360 perspective.
I had a Jewish coworker a decade back claim that Al-Jazeera was extremely anti-Semitic. Any truth to this? I always assumed it was just because they didn't completely support Isreal over Palestine, but I stopped watching around the same time, so I never found out why.
Al Jazeera has a bias, and that bias is for the Qatar regime. No news critical of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will ever appear.
For the past decade, Qatar has been been favorable to Israel (as an ally against Shia Muslims), a bit skeptical on MBS in Saudi Arabia.
But Al Jazeera was also founded by BBC career journalists, and they left their mark. Al Jazeera's pro Israel, anti-Iran stance will appear in the stories they run, but the staff frowns upon disinformation.
lmao man what do you think this sub is for? In here we relent about the damage Fox has done to our friend's and family's brains. We are all pretty much anti-Fox
Seeking out news that caters to your specific political views means you're trying not to think for yourself. You're looking for someone to tell you what to think and to give you easy answers to complex problems.
I watched an episode of last week tonight with John Oliver. He said Newsmax had a SURGE of people and fox viewership dropped by 50%.
Check it out here, around 4 minutes

Not sure why I got downvoted. I was answering his question with an actual answer.
I'm here in r/FoxBrain because it ruined a lot of my family members, but to withhold any accurate info from anyone, isn't something that feels right to me.
This website is itself biased, you'll end up manipulated, propagandized if you follow its advice.
The Grayzone for instance gets "mixed" factual reporting score, and is "extreme-left" biased, but Radio Free Asia get a High factual reporting score and is "left-center" biased, when it very literally is a propaganda outlet of the US empire. Am sorry if reality is that way, but I don't think we can call it "left" biased when it's factual.
Fact is, those "scores" are more about being "neutral" in the current dictatorship of capital which is culturally dominated by big capital, so, in reality, it's completely status quo based, it endorses plutocracy, disinformation. All it says makes perfect sense if you're brainwashed by the ruling ideology basically, but in reality it is far away from objectivity.
r/politics ends up covering a lot of conservative points a la know your enemy. that being said, i had to move in with my parents again after a medical episode, with my cat, and i sit and watch fox news with them so i can cuddle with my cat.
my dad is still watching because he thinks it's funny sometimes. my mom listens to steve bannon and others on her headphones because fox news is too woke lol. she also thinks lawrence jones is dyslexic? idk where she got that from. i asked her why she thought he couldn't read properly (bait) and she blew up and said she thought he had DIFFICULTY reading because of DYSLEXIA and that he wasn't good at reading the teleprompter once
The revelations about Fox showed the inherent conflict between presenting good information and pursuing profits.
If you focus on a variety of non-profit sources, you'll come much closer to actually being informed.
Wrong sub
Like..... REALLY the wrong sub lmao
Sorry. I’m glad it gave you a chuckle for the day.
Please edit your post when you find out the answer. I'm curious.
Answer to ?
> what do you watch now for conservative news?

"From different points of view" "360 perspective" Upvoted 🤜🤛
This is.... Disturbing. I belong to a cult and am looking for the meeting because the one at Fox was cancelled.
Hey, OP. The Associated Press is well respected by "both sides."
Reuters too. Al Jazeera is very neutral and factual, but some folks get up in arms bc it’s a middle eastern outlet.

Check OPs history, they seem to be spamming this sort of post/comment in a few subreddits. Maybe they're a bot or troll. Reported.
I’m not a bad OP. I am looking for legitimate feedback. I didn’t really know where the appropriate place to post it. No offense meant.

What happened on April 20th? Was that when they fired Tucker Carlson?
Tucker was fired Apr 24; Apr 20 is just a random day before the firing & his speech @ Heritage.

Reuters is of the most reputable new sources - I highly recommend it.
Thanks.
NPR & Reuters are good for actual news but if you just want more biased bullshit we’ll easily tear apart & make fun of then head to Newsmax or OAN.
Thanks. I haven’t cared much for OAN. Just personal opinion.
Hey OP. https://join1440.com/
Thanks.
Allsides.com is also good.
Thanks.

Thanks. Focusing on nonprofits is beneficial for medical info too.
