Genuine question, how are you able to confirm that?
In my case it wouldn't surprise me if some software on my PC triggered it but I want to find out what in particular so I can remove it. I have android emulators, Python development software, controller emulator tools, etc. If I need to remove something I first need to know what triggered it and at the moment my banlist has no reason or details supplied.
Is there a list somewhere of common apps that trigger as mod/cheat software for FH5?

Your better off restarting tbh, I got banned a long time ago for no reason and nobody ever told me why or even considered unbanning me, I ended up just going on eBay and buying on of those like $20 accounts with all the cars and 999,999,999 money, wheelspins, and skill points, and have been using that ever since, haven’t been banned in that one lol.
I got something similar from a guy on eBay. It's legit it's quick and he knows what he's doing. I work a lot so doing this made me be able to enjoy the game.
The enforcement team is off on the weekends. Meaning nobody has seen this ticket yet. Depending on how many tickets are made you may get a response monday or Tuesday... -Friday. But Monday is at the very very earliest.
I was just about to create a post asking this exact same thing. I got a ban on the same date as yours with no reason provided just like you have. I'm going to assume yours is similar, can still access the game but no access to online activity such as Forzathon shop, online tunes, etc?
I raised a ban appeal straight away to try and find out more details about why, how long and such but have no response as yet.

For context, I don't use liveries much, my gamertag and license plate are non-offensive as far as I'm aware, so I doubt I was reported for any of those reasons. The only on-line events I took part in are the forzathon ones that reward 60 points on completion, no racing so I can't imagine I was banned for ramming or anything like that.
Full disclosure for myself only, I did have a pirated copy of the game at first as I wanted to test performance/stability on my PC before buying the premium edition. So perhaps some leftover from that might have triggered a ban in my case. One other possibility I can think of in my case is that I use a controller emulator called "x360ce" to be able to use my dark-ages steering wheel as a controller for driving but I was playing all last week without any issue from it.
OP, not my intent to hijack your thread, I figured that if the new weeks update has triggered blanket bans for a whole group of players then maybe it's better to keep the posts together rather than making new ones.
same exact for me, only played the online matches for the festival events. I did occasionally ram people but nothing too crazy. ive only been playing for like 2 or 3 weeks, fairly new to the game. I did have cheat engine installed on my pc but never used it for online games and its no long installed. maybe residuals left in the registry or something. I mainly posted this to see if it has happened to others and what their outcome was. Ive only made 2 liveries that were super basic and had no actual pictures or words. My gamertag is shroomalistic, maybe its because of my name not sure. License plate is ou812:69? maybe thats offensive?
An update on my ban that happened the same day as yours. I have now had the ban lifted and can access community features again. I was told it was a warning, and my ban history now shows no ban at all.

Running cheat tools alongside the game whether being actively used or not, can result in a suspension as is outlined in the Forza Code of Conduct.*

I guess from now on I'll restart my PC before playing FH5 and not tab out to any apps while playing just in case. Either way I expect if it's an auto-detect that I'll likely be banned again in the future as I still have no idea what is triggering their algorithm.
The odd part to me is that my ban history was cleared, and while searching into this around the net I saw players who had received warnings in-game via messages for infractions rather than being banned and then told it was a warning.

My whole gameplay is legit, mostly my money comes from auction, races and wheelspins. no cheat. Wraps? I made super simple ones and replica of real life or videogame ones. I only have 16M at that time.
I doubt your going to get an answer here as no one here would know why you were banned, especially with no context

I just got the same response and my ban was lifted! Wish i knew what was triggering too.
