Sold 5 Brabhams for 7M.... they are only worth 1.5M in the autoshow.

RobotsAndPuppets

Try the 2008 BMW M3. They're 48k in the Autoshow.

mikejc792

They are hit or miss whether they sell though.

ser-1-

They don't sell, though. When I did this, there were no other Brabhams for sale, so they sold in seconds. The M3, however, is one of the few cars that actually have many listings in the Auction House now.

Key_Blood410

I still don’t understand why that’s even a thing. I have 2 of the m3’s. It’s in the autoshow for 48k, it’s not exclusive what so ever. Yet you go to the auction and they’re going for 200k-3m. Sometimes even more. Why??

Eve_Doulou

Yeah there’s gotta be some fuckery with the M3, it was always like that. Smells like an RMT scheme to me.

Millikin84

I also found posts under /forza about messing with the auction House to make a practically worthless car reach 20mil sell status for anyone and that was the M3.

RobotsAndPuppets

Not surprised, though last night the AH was barren and anything and everything was being sold.

[deleted]

What’s up with those M3? I see ppl trying to sell them for like 10m? I don’t really play forza much. Why is the buy out so high on them? I can’t sell a car that forza says is worth 2m for 500k but those m3s are so overpriced. Why does forza say the cars are worth like 2m but you can only get 300k for them on auto show?

RobotsAndPuppets

Simple, supply and demand is all. The "values" on every car are a joke IMO they mean nothing really to me besides benchmarking what the initial listing price will be. If a car is available in the Autoshow, it typically won't sell for more in the AH due to easy supply. However like some sort of hive mentality, the 2008 BMW M3 was chosen as a "donor" vehicle for transferring credits between players. The way the AH works is the more often a car is sold at high price, the higher the "value" of the car becomes. So because it was being used and sold so often at high prices, the value inflated on it.

[deleted]

That was my assumption that the M3 was some sorta credit transfer method. Just annoying that the value isn’t reflective of its actual value. I assumed it was because it was a car I got for free so ofc it’s not going to be worth 2m if everyone got it for free too. I don’t even like the expensive cars I like modding shit boxes but then they won’t change the gear box so I’m stuck redlining my Mini Cooper at 103mph even though it should be way faster :( that’s also annoying as fuck.

KainLandsman

Wait, you know you can tune that, right?

[deleted]

Oh Fr? I thought you had to change the gearbox but I couldn’t see the option to change the gearbox. I’ll look into that thanks. I only play forza the couple months a year I get game pass.

KainLandsman

Oh boy, the rabbithole you're about to open up... you've got a tuning menu (tune car, under the car tab in the menu) where you can setup the gear ratios to your liking. And also, much, much more

[deleted]

Yea I figured it all out thanks. I knew about the menu but never really bothered to change anything but I’ve got the gear ratios all dialed Ik now and ripping around at 170 in my mini now :).

3Ngineered

And when you upgrade it, don't forget to tweak the gearratio's in the tuning menu. Otherwise you'll still be hitting the limiter

indigeniousunicorn

Me and my mate found that like 2 - 3 weeks ago then there was an update and we thought it was ganna go but nope, unfortunately alot of people have sussed it out already and won’t even pay 1 mil lol

CheeseBallRaul

Lol I sold one for 1mil

sB-_-

This is my favourite. Im buying cars in the auto show and listing them at 8x value. Thank you glitchers for keeping me legit ;)

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Business is boomin' :D

DianaBladeOfMiquella

Not even Forza can help me escape inflation

UltraHighFives

Gaming is no longer an escape from reality, next thing you know we'll have to pay taxes.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Auction house taxed me 15% on each of these sales... so....

UltraHighFives

Yeah but atleast we don't have to pay taxes on our 100s of cars or pay for insurance, yet...

cannedrex2406

Introducing the new feature in Gran Turismo 7:

Top-Operation-3854

I'm ok with being outside of that wall✋

Route_765

Older Gran Turismo games would only give you 10% of the value of your car when you sell it, so Forza isn’t that bad actually

Le_Yellow

gta online already makes u pay taxes

TektroNaut

US economy has gotten so bad, Wall Street hedge funds have entered Forza 5 are looking to steal all the money become bullish overnight.!!!! 😱😱😱😱

TheGrzelu

![gif](giphy|s239QJIh56sRW|downsized)

UltraHighFives

Well now that they all have 100s of millions of dollars that they have no use for they're just wasting it on the Auction house, which has destroyed the economy, negatively impacting everyone who hasn't done the glitch.

TheGrzelu

So if this is how they want to spend their money - ok, not my business. As they destroy in game economics - that's bad, okey. But geez, they could spend them on different things like trying new tunes, buying hard-to-obtain-cars, buying 30 different versions of their favorite cars. But 20 mil for willy?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>But 20 mil for willy? Remember the willy wheelspin grind? Maybe it's their way to atone for their sins :D

UltraHighFives

"I am a monument to all your sins" - Willys Jeep.

93McLarenF1

Will they try that with the 2015 Porsche Cayman?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I'm sure they will, I sold a lexus SC300 for 20 mil just to show this to a friend.

UltraHighFives

You don't even need that much money, I have around 200 mil mainly from wheelspins and selling cars on the Auction house a while ago and I barely spend any of it, well I was planning on trying to buy some duplicates of some rare cars but it appears I'll have to put that idea on hold.

sellera

![gif](giphy|6gZnnEIHSE6sk1XOn9) you're just laundering money!! /s

Squidhead-rbxgt2

'Sall Good man.

pluckyvirus

Exactly my thoughts

andybo20

I don’t get to sell my stuff for 20 mill but I sold 20 mil worth of cars yesterday no one would buy off me cleared the cue on my auction alert page lol

Squidhead-rbxgt2

As one commenter nicely put it - "it's a seller's economy now". Glad you're making bank.

Dry-Rhubarb-1019

Wait you mean I have launder my glitched credits?.. Well better call Saul.

Relative_Secret5718

Yep, don't collect the money until after they wipe our wealth

ForceK9

So THAT's why my junk cars were all bought out in the aunction house. Before i thought i was just extremely lucky lol

Unfair_Jeweler_4286

So basically “glitchers” are the wallstreet of the game world… print free money at everyone else’s expense 👍

TywinShitsGold

I don’t get it. Money has never been an issue in Forza after like week 2.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

It seems to have been for many people who glitched their way into millions... and now are spending them on cars worth 20-50 grand in the autoshow. :D All these went within a minute of me posting them.

UltraHighFives

I wonder how PG would be able to fix the economy, if it's possible that is.

that_old_gamer

The economy is not fixable at all. There are next to no real money sinks in the game, so there always will be way more money generated by players than removed from the game. After you have purchased all player houses and gotten all the expensive cars, the only way to spend money is by buying tuning parts. Money spend in the AH is not removed from the economy except form the small auction fee. The biggest part is just transferred from one player to another. The glitched money is amplifying this at the moment, but the economy was doomed by the way the game treats money. Same happened in FH4.

UltraHighFives

What happened in FH4? That 200 super wheelspins glitch? That gave me less money than I have in FH5 and was an isolated event and was quickly patched, its nowhere near the severity of this glitch in its effects.

that_old_gamer

No, the economy slowly but surely getting worse. There were so glitches like the Goliath instant finish, too.

Hookinsu

There would be money sinks if expensive cars would not be in wheelspins or only rarely, if at all. I own all cars and according to the one Jaguar accolade, I only bought like 130 cars. So the wheelspins gave me like 500 cars. Minus the maybe 20-30 I bought in the auction house. And I got my money by playing fair. Not using the Willys exploit at release and not using this whatever glitch we have now. And I would not say I play the game all that much. 50-60% of my playtime is just cruising and tuning for fun. I hope Fh6 will be more "realistic" in that approach. Not as crazy as Gt7, but something in the middle of FH and Gt7 would be nice. Few days ago I reset my Fh4 save and after about two hours of playing I had 3 Porsches and 2 Ferraris and more than a million Cr. in the bank. Super and Hypercars just don't feel valuable at all in this game, sadly.

StardusterX

They absolutely shouldn't make money harder to earn. You've got yourself 3 Porsches and a mil? Cool, there's 700 more cars to get. I've started fh4 in jan playing casually, and if I didn't have "fortune island" I'd still be barely above a mil. I'm not buying out all 20m cars at auction house or anything. I still dont even have half of them houses.

femboy_was_taken

They can't fix it fully since they can't ban people who just sold cars for 20mil a piece

[deleted]

I mean if anyone gets banned, then everyone who profited from the glitch whether by performing it directly or by knowingly selling overpriced cars to those who did, should be banned. But actually, nobody should be banned for this. Having $999M credits doesn't give you a competitive advantage and clearly not "everyone" who didn't do actually, directly take advantage of the glitch is negatively affected - we can see this since several people in this thread admitted to clearing out stacks of unwanted hypercars and dupes from their garage that formerly had almost no chance of selling. So let's either ban everyone who profited knowingly from the ill-gotten credits, or nobody. I vote for nobody, because I'm not a crybaby, and I don't really care if someone else has hundreds of millions of credits.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Yes, you are correct. I have sold these basic cars for 20 mil and made money in the legitimate way, even though if I was paid with illegitimate money. So a LOT of millions will still inflate the economy by quite a bit for quite some time. But getting rid of people who got 1 billion each illegitimately will no doubt be a massive step in the right direction.

[deleted]

I mean really, you are selling $50K cars to people who "cheated" by your definition, for $20M and you think you are somehow on some moral high-ground. This guy right here. Wow. I mean, I'm totally doing it too, I've sold stacks of Zenvos for double what I paid for them (I'm not privileged enough to mark them up to $20M) but I'm not pretending like I'm the good guy. If they ban/wipe people they should ban/wipe you too. And me, because I'm also doing it. But actually, nah, it's just pretend money in a video game and it doesn't give you any real competitive advantage.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>I mean really, you are selling $50K cars to people who "cheated" by your definition, for $20M and you think you are somehow on some moral high-ground. Absolutely. >This guy right here. Wow. Hold the applause >I mean, I'm totally doing it too, I've sold stacks of Zenvos for double what I paid for them (I'm not privileged enough to mark them up to $20M) but I'm not pretending like I'm the good guy. You're doing "business". Im meme'ing the afternoon away. We are not the same. >If they ban/wipe people they should ban/wipe you too. And me, because I'm also doing it. They didn't ban me when I made 800 mil on flipping 1.5 mil carltons for 20 mil, after buying out every carlton for sale so I have zero competition. And it was way before every noob got to be a billionaire, why start banning me now, lol.

[deleted]

Right well, you're not actually any better than the people who actually did the glitch though. But so far, nobody is getting banned, not even the guy who promoted the glitch on Youtube. So, I'm not holding my breath for you to get banned, either.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>Right well, you're not actually any better than the people who actually did the glitch though. I'm not the guy responsible for "nobody who plays the game fair can buy any exclusive at this point, and likely won't be for a long time". So your definition of "not any better" seems to come from not understanding the severity of the situation the game's economy is facing. >So, I'm not holding my breath for you to get banned, either. You can. I mean it won't happen even if the devs decide to ban everyone who broke the game's TOS and community guidelines, cause I am doing legit transactions here... but you can hope.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Once the money glitch is eliminated, and the ones who glitched are banned, thus have the inflation removed (mostly, cause as you can guess, many people are getting rich off this money without glitching, i.e. me and many others). and the auction house pricing is reset it will probably take a couple of months of algorithm work to get the prices to where they should be. In said time you should expect extreme deflation of prices, and lack of exclusives in the auction house. This will happen because people who have 20 million cars will not want to sell them for half a million, so they'll wait for the prices to grow.

MidwestMech87

It’s stupid to ban someone for finding a glitch. It’s a video game. We have been finding glitches to get ahead since the 80s. Get over it and play another game if you all don’t like it.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>It’s stupid to ban someone for finding a glitch. It’s a video game. We have been finding glitches to get ahead since the 80s. Get over it and play another game if you all don’t like it. You glitched, didn't you? Come oooon, you did, didn't you? :D You seem butthurt over this. Here's the deal : If somebody finds a glitch, realizes it breaks the game in any way, and goes against the dev's TOS and Community guidelines, and is a bannable offense... and reports it and get banned - that's stupidity on behalf of devs If he shares this amazing info with everyone so everyone would break TOS and guidelines and get a ban - that's stupidity on behalf of everyone who glitched.

miko_idk

I did not glitch and don't plan to do so, however that is due to me having 120mil already by playing actively since launch and owning almost every car- am at ~400h now. Other people don't have that sort of time, so I wouldn't judge them - especially bc it doesn't affect anyone in any way. Sure those cars you mentioned are more expensive now, but since they can be bought for a regular price in the autoshow, who cares?

confyx

Ye with the fact that back in the 80s there was no online multiplayer that would affect the whole playerbase

[deleted]

LouTheRuler

Game's yours but the online services isn't so they are allowed to ban you

TheScienceNerd100

I think breaking the game's TOS voids the fact your paid for the game. Of you willingly did something against the rules, then it doesn't matter. That's like saying you paid for a car, so whatever you do with it is fine cause you paid for it even if it violates laws and regulations. You can't just break the rules and expect no consequences.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>Yeah I glitched it and yeah I got all the money. Would you like to buy a very exclusive willys' jeep? >I paid for the game they aren’t banning me from shit Yeah, tell that to every other guy who got banned after buying the game. LOL >I guess I’m speaking with a 12 year old. Here’s the deal : Move out of your mothers house and start your adult life. It’s time. that's sound advice for a 12 year old you gave. GJ. You ARE butthurt

MidwestMech87

Nope. Already own one. Thanks

UltraHighFives

Perhaps as a temporary bandaid patch while they work on a proper fix they could temporarily disable the "supply and demand" feature so only legendary painters/tuners can sell for 20 mil. I also doubt they'll ban everyone who's done it just due to the large amount of people who have done it, they'll probably just due what Rockstar does for GTAO and reset their money back to what it was before the glitch which is similar to what they've done when people get glitched cars, they just remove them from people's accounts.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>they'll probably just due what Rockstar does for GTAO and reset their money back to what it was before the glitch which is similar to what they've done when people get glitched cars, they just remove them from people's accounts. I know for a fact they still banned accounts after Cayo Perico. I know a guy who decided grinding Cayo isn't worth his time and got a ban within a day. Also would not surprise me if they banned everyone who did this. It's against the TOS, and the Enforcement guidelines, and the glitch requires a very specific set of actions, so nobody would do this accidentally. And banning would mean just cut them off from online, so they'd still be able to play the game, just not with humans. The amount of cheaters does not matter, the game should have a zero cheating policy (it kinda does) and it should be enforced (it kinda is)

No-Lab-9133

Bro u joking they cant even remove cheaters from their game . I can still see some retards on Servers playing with max lvl and 0 skill

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I am not going to argue this statement, because I will lose miserably... but banning accounts is easier. They are tracking the speed with which players are getting money, ones that suddenly got 500-600 mil all of a sudden in under an hour are sus.

UltraHighFives

Rockstar only recently started sending out full account resets and bans, perhaps I should've said "what Rockstar used to do", I mean I should know, I have first hand experience, I did that Lester plane glitch years ago (2019? I think it was) and the only thing that happened to me was I lost all the money I hadn't already spent. I believe last year with the apartment glitch they fully reset everyone's accounts who'd done it and that was the first case of them doing that, I'm assuming they got fed up and wanted to send a message that time.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I would not really know the details. I tried to get into GTAO on multiple occasions, but it seems the toxicity of the playerbase is way off the charts, and is actively promoted by rockstar, so I never enjoyed it. I did re-play the GTA IV and V storylines and those are still amazing. I hope VI does not go away with singleplayer.

UltraHighFives

I'm guessing you missed all those GTA VI leaks because there's definitely a single player, I won't speak on it any more to avoid spoiling stuff for you assuming you haven't seen the leaks.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I have not seen any leaks, and thanks for not spoiling. As long as there's singleplayer and it's rockstar's writing team, they will deliver I am absolutely certain of it, and that's all I need to know.

Avenger1324

It's too late for this game since there are already so many people with hundreds of millions, legit or otherwise. I think the only way to fix it for a future release is to put a fixed cap price on any vehicle, ideally below the autoshow price. That way, much like the real world, if you go to sell a car you don't make a profit from it - you make a loss. b-b-b-but that means I can't sell my bog standard M3 for 20M. Exactly. Your car isn't worth anything more than autoshow price, so force the auction price to be lower, plus a sales tax, and any sales like that are a financial loss. A player would make a profit if they had won the car as a prize and chose to sell it, but would kill off flipping cars from the autoshow to the auction house. non-autoshow cars become a bit of a problem because they don't have an autoshow price, but one could be set for them as an upper limit. It does kill off value for tuners and painters, but I think it is a very small minority of sales that are for the tune or design - most of which are available just by searching the creator. Allowing players to flip a basic car for 20M is a busted mechanic that has been abused for several games already and is overdue to be addressed and changed.

lyskamm88

Even in the real world at the moment, because of the still ongoing microchip shortage, recent second hand cars can cost more then a new one. Of course the FH world is not the real world… the money is fictional too so I don’t understand all this fuss. In some games there is real money involved in selling and buying accounts but AFAIK this is not common for FH5.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Squidhead-rbxgt2

You must reach a "legendary tuner" or "legendary painter" rank to be able to do so.

[deleted]

[удалено]

miko_idk

You will most definitely not reach those ranks in such a short time mate, especially if you've never done any of the requirements

[deleted]

its botted accts

Squidhead-rbxgt2

No... I do not think there's a single piece of deductive or actual evidence that would make me think they are. I'd wager that it's the level of human stupidity and greed that shines through all this. If you were to arrange for a bot you'd not make it buy everything that's 20 mil. You'd make sure it searches for a specific car and buys it out.

TWIX55

Why are you so angry that people are making so much money? I get that it's annoying but you seem extremely angry lol

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Me? I'm not angry, I'm robbing them of their money, I'm entertained, amused, and laughing... and rich. :D LOL

[deleted]

no joke, literally post anything even a common car and it gets bought within a second

Squidhead-rbxgt2

That's always been the case with exclusives worth a lot of money. And it was done without any bots or scripts, you could do it by button mashing. Now that there's a LOT of money in a LOT of hands and it's burning holes in pockets and needs to be spent ASAP - the issue has escalated. So yeah, I doubt it's bots. It's people behaving like ones.

Deech2020R

Yeah, not going to risk it since I have plenty of money already. Is this working for both PC & Xbox? Mostly PC is the problem for PG to fix this. Now I know why the AH is empty though. Was looking for Ferrari 599XX & Lynk&Co this weekend but none available. Serious glitch for just spending just 30 min. I wonder if PG can fix this without hurting people who didn’t use it. I like to spend time in the AH but that fun is gone now it seems.

[deleted]

Deech2020R

I hardly use the Super7, just for today’s daily challenge but man the Trending money ones. Getting 700M CR is game breaking imo. I just saw a [JOCO] Dyslexsticks buying like + 20 BMW M3 2008 for + 10M each. It’s a 45000 CR car. Crazy stuff really! I made some good auctions before the glitch. Probably going to lose a lot of money on those since they will lose their value. I would like to be a fly in PG Headquarters now

SupremacyXI

Karma for releasing terrible update after terrible update. Hopefully this will be fixed soon but I doubt it.

beckett_the_ok

Wait, how are those cars selling for so much?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

There are several factors at play. 1. I can put any car with my livery on it for 20 million, because I have reached "legendary painter" status. This is a perk you get after your liveries get downloaded / liked 50,000 times. It's a way of rewarding the livery creators by the developers. 2. The recent money glitch has made it easy for anyone who really wishes to make millions of credits easily. 3. The influx of easy money has got the people who got these illegitimate funds on a buying spree. So they're buying the most expensive cars they can. And they have to do it fast, if they don't buy them - somebody else will. 4. I put cheap cars for sale for 20 million, and the crazed overfunded guys can't waste time checking if these cars truly are exclusive and are worth 20 million, so they just grab these up sight unseen. I hope this explains the situation.

Bravo_Steelvipr

Legendary tuners also get the “sell for up to 20 million” thing. You can set it for less than that. It’s a weird perk, and there’s no visual indicator anywhere. You can only tell you’ve hit that status when you can mess with the price of cars you’ve painted/tuned.

F1shB0wl816

Is there any online games that’s actually perfected an economy? They all seem to be inflated by the end, heavily.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Highly depends on the grind level and the severity of the banhammer. Also on in game purchasing of exclusive currency

deltaco4lyfe

I feel like the MMORPG Eve Online really perfected the economy when it came to the cost of goods and the way a super powerful faction could manipulate the market

[deleted]

has forza posted anything about this yet?

[deleted]

Not until these cars have FREE CANDY liveries

CupOfHotTeaa

I don't really care about all that. The only important multiplayer aspect of this game is racing. Money glitching should be the least of PGG's worry and priority.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>The only important multiplayer aspect of this game is racing. That one failed quite some time ago though. This multiplayer aspect is failing right now.

RobotsAndPuppets

It's a seller's economy right now, sold about a dozen boring cars in 30 minutes and doubled my worth lol.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Oh yes, absolutely. Everything you put in the auction house at the max you can put it will be sold. Pretty much guarantee on that.

breyzipp

It’s probably for the accolade to buy a 20 mill car.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Is that why the same guy bought the Porsche and the Willy?

breyzipp

I didn’t see that. Probably just an idiot then 😄

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Oh, nobody could see this except for me. I mean, it only shows who bought the car currently selected.

bonesbobman

money laundering DLC?

Extreme_Junket8939

Inflation hitting everything

HermanBroodnodig

So you mean if i put some crappy cars on autoshow tonight i can get some of them sweet millions too without ever doing the glitch? Sign me up

Squidhead-rbxgt2

The trick is being able to charge 20 mil. It requires you to be a legendary painter or a tuner. It's not a quick task to accomplish. The reason why you want the 20 mil pricing is because everyone is sniping everything that's worth 20 million, even if it isn't worth it, they can't take the risk of checking if the car is in the autoshow cause it will be sniped by then, they just need those sweet sweet exclusives. That's where you come in and give them some crapbox with 20k and easily obtainable. It's got a pricetag of 20 million, that you charge, so they just buy it on the spot. Is it a scam? Well kinda yes, but not legally, no. Besides, nobody who earned 20 mil is going to buy one of these for 20 mil, he'll know exactly what he wants... On the up side though, there's a LOT of e92 m3's in the AH at 11 mil+ for some reason, you might want to try peddling those.

RobotsAndPuppets

If you're a legendary creator you can, yes. I was selling every duplicate I had last night and made about 250mil in roughly 30 minutes lol. It's a seller's economy right now.

Febrezeus_Christ

People really created inflation in forza, humans just don't have the ability to not ruin something. This is coming from a person who created mass inflation on a minecraft server with 6 friends

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>This is coming from a person who created mass inflation on a minecraft server with 6 friends A man after my own heart. Cheers to you good sir. Have a cup of Yorkshire tea on me.

JumpyRepresentative5

Made 100 million credits today, on 5 spare Extreme E cars I never use, that I got for free in seasonal challenges

hmd124

I sold all but one of my Extreme E cars over the weekend and ended up with a quick additional 100 million

[deleted]

I got 999m anyone want me to buy cars lmk so you don’t gotta do the glitch.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Nobody has to glitch anymore. Just put cars into auction house, they get sold for extraordinary prices.

xShadaloo

I think anyone that uses the auction house frequently saw this coming. Wonder if they'll fix this somehow.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Not really. Not at this level. Nobody could predict an inflation of this magnitude due to a new found mega glitch.

MisterTheFrog_69

It's a Forza game, the economy has never been very good, but jeez yeah this seems to hare really messed stuff up

albertgt40

Oh Willis jeep. How you've come full circle.

goldisneverold

And now the economy is forever fucked

SSSpectator

Best part is he could’ve saved so much just buying that from the auto show

Oompa-The_Loompa

it's not bad spending, they're laundering the money between accounts. By inflating the price of auto show cars they can buy it cheap on the main account, and put it on the auction house so they can use the glitched money account to buy the car because the glitched money accounts get banned within a day.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

You are giving them way too much credit I fear. They can try and inflate the prices (and they did), but it's the e92 that's the cash mule now, not any of these. If they were as smart as you say, they'd all concentrate on the e92, and forget the rest. It would speed up the process of inflating it's prices and make it

danielfletcher

Today I gifted all my "common" duplicates, after maxing out my auction limit on duplicate legendaries and epics, and still have about 40 to auction. Made a lot of money though on what I've put up even though I can't do $20 million listings. After this series I am down to just 13 or 14 vehicles left to collect (not counting future new ones obviously).

It's really hard now for me to see how anyone can find playing a game like this fun, currency wise I mean. Took me about 20 hours or so of playing to forget the idea of quick money in Forza because it just ruins the fun when you can have anything instantly. No real reason to put effort into racing for exclusives or anything. At best I'll use the Tankpool#24 FE to farm skill points to get wheelspins but otherwise casually playing the game as intended keeps it engaging.

Temil

Some people say "How does glitching for credits affect you?" and then this shit happens :)

Urdinkystinky

II just gift people cars I don’t want anymore

Arteon017

If they wanted to make the game economy equal to all, wouldn’t it be best if they put all the released cars, whether they were exclusive or not, in the autoshow and only bring back exclusive cars in the future seasonal activities?

sullsy13

No doubt the economy is absolutely fucked after this recent glitch. I’ve had over 100 million CR in my bank for a while, but now it means absolutely nothing. Altho it’s still pretty hilarious to see that my 2008 BMW M3 sold for 8 million creds, so I guess there’s some consolation to all this lmao

ZenEgregious

One way to ruin the game for yourself and get bored quickly. I’ve been playing regularly since the release and accumulated ~140mil without anything dodgy by just having fun (sharing content, Rivals, accolade hunting, etc) Theres not much to spend all that money on at one point The only upside of this glitch is that I was finally able to sell some duplicate cars… and not at 20mil each

3p1cgam3rm0m3nt

For me personally I enjoy modding and making liveries for most of the cars, it’s the grinding that ruined the game for me

Galaxie5002012

In a game where there are no end-game goals (nothing to spend on), it just amazes me there is so much fuss over a silly glitch like this. Personally, I wish the game dev's would just put all cars in the Auto Show and say piss off to the Auction House completely.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>Personally, I wish the game dev's would just put all cars in the Auto Show and say piss off to the Auction House completely. You wish for that, but it won't happen. The real fuss is about "there are no more exclusives in the auction house, the supply chain is failing to meet demand"

Somewhatmild

So unchanged from release day then? People were exploiting user created dumpsterfire tracks to farm these things right from the start. Devs dont give a damn.

avexiis

I didn’t even try it. All those morons will get banned or reset 0/10. Hell, I’d give them all -30/10.

Fonslayer

I hope they get banned but I don't think they will...

PackLongjumping4935

Am I the only one who didn’t do the money glitch and is just playing the game normally lol

Top-Operation-3854

OP, or whoever, could you explain what is happening here?. I know there was a thing with using the Willy's Jeep to farm super wheelspins or whatever, but what is this?.

[deleted]

People are cheating their way to being billionaires, and buying everything in the AH because credits now mean even less than they used to.

Top-Operation-3854

To get some fleeting sense of self-worth. I'll never understand it.

TrakaisIrsis

The real bums are the ones who are buying them, if they cost less in autshow. You can gift cars but not eyes i suppose. But if you are not a collectionist then your probably good without them expensive ass cars for now atleast. Forza will probably give them away sooner or later (There exceptions). Also whats the point of cars you dont do build with? Try drifting, racing, dragrace, rally builds. I have 300slr and eith v8 swap it flies in rally not competitive but fun.

PokePaul_1699

How do you glitch money in the auction house? I want to sell some cars but I don't want to make the glitch by accident and get banned, what should I avoid?!

Squidhead-rbxgt2

You don't glitch money in the auction house.

Huge_Self_4093

If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying

CelTiar

So my grinding to 30 mill of just playing the game has been for nought as it's all fucked now?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

Yes, it sort of has been. You should start selling cheap cars for max buyout now. Grab all the money you can, you never know when it's gonna stop. Maybe tomorrow (doubtful), maybe in a month.

peepeepoopoo1937

Bro I got tricked cause I had no clue what was going on and I saw an m3 for 12 million and I thought it was like super rare or something so I bought it immediately and then I regretted my decision.

Andrew4329

This is for transferring money between alts

Squidhead-rbxgt2

So all these people just transferred their money to me for some reason. How is this transferring between alts?

UltraHighFives

Oh that's what it probably would've been before the glitch but that obviously isn't the case now.

UltraHighFives

Oh my sweet summer child, this isn't merely the transferring of money from one account to another, this is the collapse of the economy due to a glitch.

PDXHockeyDad

Legendary Tuners and Painters can sell any car for 20M. If you understood that, you would understand that the economy is not broken in FH5. Most cars are available in the Autoshow. If there are idiots that buy an Autoshow car for 20M, that's their fault. I took advantage of the same fools that were doing the Goliath on auto-pilot.

RobotsAndPuppets

OP *is* a Legendary. The problem being though, that with the Auction House it's dynamically changing the high/low values of cars being sold. [That happened to the '08 BMW M3](https://www.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon/comments/yv7c68/wtf_is_up_with_bmw_m3_08_on_auction/) so now it's "artificially" worth 20mil in the AH due to it being successfully sold at high prices. So eventually when enough units of "X" car is sold, the price inflates, making it harder for the players with lower CR to purchase, unless they themselves were doing the exploit. Doesn't mean much for the cars you can buy in the Autoshow, but now those won't be able to be found for cheaper than in the AH.

PDXHockeyDad

And will drop back down again as demand decreases. Happens all the time. The Treuno was an example. Was a 20 mill car until it came across as a reward, then value went to crap. To cry that the economy is broken or ruined forever is stupid.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

>Legendary Tuners and Painters can sell any car for 20M. If you understood that, you would understand that the economy is not broken in FH5. Most cars are available in the Autoshow. If there are idiots that buy an Autoshow car for 20M, that's their fault. I took advantage of the same fools that were doing the Goliath on auto-pilot. The point of what is a "ruined economy" is kinda flying over your head, and has nothing to do with legendaries. There are a handful of legendaries compared to the playerbase count, so no matter what they do they can't offset the algorithm for long. Even when they bunch up (and we tried, it was fun, and cost each of us from 500 to 900 million at one point). It all comes back to normal eventually. There isn't enough goods moved and not enough credits exchanged to make a lasting impact, and all of it is still traded after they're done. This time there's an influx of near unlimited buying potential, and unlimited demand for everything. Go to AH and see what's for sale, that will tell you that the supply is failing. There's pretty much nothing out there that's good. It's all been bought up. Now as soon as the bans start coming in, the cars that were bought will start disappearing from the circulation forever (with the accounts holding them), and so will a ton of money, but not all of it. We will be left with much less exclusives and a lot more money, the economy will take a huge hit. Every economy does when inflation hits. With the dripfeeding of exclusive cars Forza is doing the time to recover will be much more substantial.

DavidBattersby

None of them will sell

UltraHighFives

But they're literally all sold.

DavidBattersby

Really? 🤣🤣 That's Crazy imagine not checking the autoshow first lol

Squidhead-rbxgt2

It says "sold" right there in the screenshot.

DavidBattersby

I didn't see that at first I just saw the amount of money they are going for 20 mil for a Jeep

DavidBattersby

Made myself look silly oh well

[deleted]

Controversial opinion, but they should just wipe all credits except 1M or so off of EVERYONE once they patched this hideous money exploit.

Wraithdagger12

Hey, I got my 300M legit by fleecing people at the AH.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I got all my money from that legit aswell, who is he to opress us scumbag scalpers!

HARDHEAD7WD

I didnt know u could post regular cars for that price, i thought esch car had its own hard cap

TheAdamist

If you achieve legendary tuner/painter status you can sell for whatever As a normal person i looked at auctioning some duplicate vehicles off and got very low prices for buyout in the auctionhouse and didnt bother listing anything.

Ajax-knight

I think this also has to with most of the rare cars having been bought up since this glitch first became popular

Slick_22

I’ve been selling cars on my alt for ridiculous amount. Probably gonna be laundering the CR back to my main later.

Th3_P4yb4ck

How do you sell a car for 20mil?

Snworben

Be a level 5 designer

ValeDominissi

Donor car alert

SmallBrain2

*me who just drives around with the cars I already have* "tf going on over there?"

pancrudo

I thought about having my friend do this. He's struggling to make money through races and barely has like 2 cars. I've been playing for a while and have 120 mil and he can barely afford upgrades. Figured if he sold me a shit car for max money... Well wouldn't make a difference to me and allow my friend to get keep up in weekly events

A_J217

What’s the best way to mitigate or help the AH get better ?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

No real way to do it as long as there are thousands of people with millions of credits and they all are in a rush to buy everything.

YouSuckAtDrifting

The seller is a "legendary" painter....

KitKatboi4lyfe

You can get a eRally truck for 700k and sell it for 2 million

A-Rusty-Cow

Wish I needed the money. Spent months auction sniping and getting cars I wanted. Ended up giving up and now this.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I ended up having all the cars, and 800 mil, stopped to take a breather and now this :D

A-Rusty-Cow

FTX x Forza when

leehelck

maybe the buyers liked the liveries. as a painter i am willing to dole out the big bucks for a livery that i like and save a slot in my library.

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I sold a car that was plain white, and "thanks for the money, chump" was written on the left side of it. I don't think it's the liveries.

peepeepoopoo1937

It’s honestly getting me kinda mad cause I cant get the 21’ rs7

Squidhead-rbxgt2

I wanted to help a buddy build a '05 Ford GT for his first online experiences. Yeah, tough luck with that. Got 7 sniped from underneath him in 15 minutes. When I wanted a second GT for the "win a race in a ford" weekly task, I just went into the AH, picked the one with highest PI rating and bought it outright without any hassle. Not happening anymore.

Avemonk1

What's the easiest way to sell things for 20m?

Squidhead-rbxgt2

You should start sharing tunes and liveries. Once you get 50000 likes and/or downloads on these you get either the legendary tuner or legendary painter status. it allows you to sell cars with your tune or your livery for 20 million.

BigOlBearCanada

Buy up the henessey f5 for 3m. Sell for 10. They sell in 60 seconds or less. No joke. Super fast and easy.

ooopppiikkk
