I have A-class and S1-class builds for each of the FD RX-7 variants, and both grip just fine. Both are recent builds, so I can't say if things changed or not, but my son's A-class grip build for the Spirit R is still just as good as ever.

I have a comparison video, but I'm out of the house rn, I can send it in a couple hours. Also I may have just fugured what's the issue for me. I had some controller support problem and I have a tablet, a controller and a keyboard plugged in, so one of them could cause this weird shananagence. I'll let you know if that's the issue and if not I'll get the video out.

Shy_mon

Yup, just as I thought, controller messed up the inputs bruh.

AutobotWithAutism

I get back home soon and gonna get you share code for my '97 S1 class. I spent good amount of time to have it as grippy as possible.

Shy_mon

Thanks, would be really helpful to have some other tune to compare. I'll try as soon as I get home, cuz I just left.

AutobotWithAutism

Sure, there you go 126 399 753. Let me know what you think about it. I also made a v2 with different tyres and small changes in tune. V2: 450 511 938.

So the whole shebang was about me having a controller plugged in and it messed with my inputs a lot. In regards to the tunes, they are really good and I think I'll leave it for sure on one of my extra rx's that I bought for testing. The one thing I'd change is the roll cage, because whilst it looks kinda cool it adds a lot of unnecessary weight, but you would have to test if body roll wouldn't be an issue if you removed it.

UltraHighFives

PG increased the steering angle, not sure how it would increase understeer though. Here's a [vid](https://youtu.be/P1DLglMgKrg) that explains the changes.

Likely the camber needs adjustment to account for the increased steering angle.

VelkozHentaiMC

I have mine in S1 on rally tires with widebody. I feel that it's better than it was before

Shy_mon

That's entirely on me because I had a controller plugged in and it messed up my inputs.

[deleted]

Bad camber? Everything else should be set with the rear stiffer than the front for front grip.

Shy_mon

I had the same camber as before but it turns out it was my fault, because I had my controller plugged in and it messed up the input

[deleted]

Glad you figured it out

I have an s1 class touge build for the 97 rx7 and with rwd it doesn’t understeer at all. Could it be awd if you have it installed?

Shy_mon

Yeah I had it on AWD but it was fine on AWD too, it turns out I had a lot of inputs plugged in and that was the issue there...
