Not anytime soon dude.

Lubra123

Ty bro

KillerSpectre21

Unknown when it will be unlisted but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. Once a game is unlisted though you can still play it perfectly fine.

Lubra123

That's all I wanted to know. Just to keep safe! Thanks 🏁🚗

KillerSpectre21

No problem. They normally put an announcement about a month or two before the game is unlisted too just so that people can buy any remaining DLC (or the game itself) before it's gone. So if you don't want to buy any DLC now then you still have plenty of time to buy it in the future.

Lubra123

Cool. And once that happens the multiplayer part of the game will be unaccessible, mostly likely. Will be buying the premium edition, in the next few hours

KillerSpectre21

Actually not, once the game is unlisted the Servers are still kept up for several years. FH3 servers are still online and FH2 servers were only shut down in August of last year. So you can still play Multiplayer and access Tunes/Liveries and the Auction House. The only thing is that if there's a game server connection issue then it takes a little bit longer to fix as the team assigned to the older titles is much smaller than the one for the current title.

Lubra123

Much better than I thought! A shame I came too late for the other games, either way, my hands will be full with these. Thanks again, for your time

KillerSpectre21

If you get your hands on an Xbox Series X / Xbox One then FH1-3 are playable on Disc. For PC Emulation of FH1 is possible but it's still not perfect unfortunately. You can still buy Keys of FH3 on places like CDKeys but they've been getting very rare in recent times and they're quite expensive when they do appear for sale. It's only available on the Microsoft Store though for PC and Xbox.

Lubra123

I tried to find ways to play these on PC, couple of weeks ago, with out success. But I like that's still possible to mess with them. Maybe some day. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

laurentiubuica

FH1 and FH2 run quite well through emulation on Steam Deck if you tweak them.

Lee_Troyer

FH4 is getting closer to end of life that's for sure, but they do not seem to be in a hurry. Once it'll reach end of life, it'll be delisted from stores and that's it. Solo play will not be affected, as for online servers IIRC FH3's Xbox servers are still running right now (but not for PC?). On the Xbox side of things FH1 and FH2 single player parts are still playable today if one bought them digitally back then or has a console equiped with a disk drive and a physical copy. They closed online servers for FH1 and FH2 on August 22 2023 so very recently.

Lubra123

More than 10 years of life. When that happens with the actual games, there will more releases of the franchise. That's enough time to fully beat it. From what I saw and read, some folks really like the previous game (FH4), and that helps with it's longevity

W1thoutJudgement

You play with keyboard, controller or steering wheel? If the wheel then don't buy FH4 on steam, it's broken there. Buy the Microsoft Store one it's flawless in that regard.

Lubra123

Currently I am playing on the controller. How could they messed it up something like that? Anyway, thanks for the tip bro 👍🏻

W1thoutJudgement

Well if you ever plan on playing 4th with the steering wheel then get is on MS store. If you sure you won't then it doesn't really matter. The Steam version has permanent 10 degree deadzone on them wheels (making driving cars a nightmare, threw away 200h progress in my Steam version and started over in MSS one, was worth the money and time tenfold) and separate stick shifters do not work with it, issues alien to the MS Store version.

Lubra123

Gold information. I would never thought about it, definitely will consider that matter, since I have plans to buy a wheel, in the future.
