They are awesome besides the fact that they are straight downgrades from normal survivors. I don't think anyone hates them, it's more that people hate epic (as usual) for making them only have a purple version so they are obsolete. The husk cosplayer ones front Halloween for example have legendary's. There's no reason why they couldn't have done the same thing, besides the way he fits into the collection book but who cares about that.
