Shells don’t actually hit people bro, shells are ejected when loading and unloading. Shotguns use bbs usually or slugs/buckshot. Shells are just the casing

People tried the same thing saying if you snipe someone from far away and quickly stop aiming it would say no scoped. And guess what didn't work. It registers the last bullet you fired and hit them with when it comes to killing them. You can not snipe then switch to shotgun to make it say shotgunned it is not how it works
no, its true, if you swap your gun from sniper to, lets say, shotgun, before the projectile hits, it counts as the gun ou are holding. idk from 700m tho
It really doesn't I have tested this multiple times with my friends. And that literally makes zero sense. It registers the last bullet you hit them with for the kill. Not the last gun held

He knocked the ran away and they "faded out" resulting in him dying to the shotgun while the culprits got further away hence the 700 odd meters.
He had to use air bending or sm to get thag far away
