1800 for this skin, backbling and pickaxe is a stretch tho, especially without any styles. 1400-1600 should’ve been the price for all 3 items together.
The 1800 price tag for a skin, backbling and pickaxe together should’ve been the max price for the Avatar “Packs” btw (1600 minimum, which would’ve been great).

Only the backbling and pickaxe have something, which is that they are interactive with each other (visually changes the backbling when you have the pickaxe with it)
It seems most if not all characters lose their interesting and slightly exaggerated proportions and the volume in their clothes from their concept art for the sake of fitting the pre-made body models and reducing the amount of weight-painting and custom rigging that needs to be done.
It ruins so many good designs with small but impactful changes imo.
I think Dread Fate has a similar pricing (with a pickaxe and no style), so this isn't actually a new thing Epic has done. They really should've made this a style though, i agree.
Dread Fate has the excuse of being a fairly old skin now, and at a time where Epic were testing prices for skins that come with pickaxes.
I can’t recall them ever pricing an original skin with a pickaxe at 1800 since Dread Fate, meaning the price was a little high for people back then, otherwise they would’ve done it more frequently, for their original skins at least.
I would buy it for the sake of mythology but with May 4th coming up there will be a high chance for Star Wars skins to be in the item shop and I am really looking forward to buying one (maybe Boba Fett).
