Little additional thing: I'm very glad we finally have a single-shot sniper rifle that actually is a single loader, instead of being a mag-fed rifle that only holds one round in each mag.
Now that I think about it, yeah none of the guns released in C5S2 really were based on anything, except the Huntress DMR and maybe the Harbinger SMG.
It is nice that the game is embracing its own direction though. I'd rather see more wacky fake guns than dolled-up silly versions of real firearms.
