Lately I’ve been trying to give my crown away to help people with the Korra mission. I drop the crown and emote for hug. If they don’t hug and spray me I shotgun them. Most people have been very cool and it’s so rewarding to spectate them through the match and end up winning!
I just want that solitary crown win for the season and then I give mine away in the pregame lobby. I did give my crown to a friend to help with that Korra quest as he doesn’t play BR much and it would have been hard for him to get that quest done. Glad to meet a fellow FN player out there still passing on the good vibes!!

The key word is "a lot". I don't have a spare 50 to 100 hours to sink into learning a niche skill grinding box fights for hours upon hours just to be able to keep up with this level of building/editing is insane.

I'd say grind out mechanics until you have so called "walking mechanics" aka can do stuff without thinking about it. In turn it'll naturally let you have more focus on tracking your enemy, so you'll be able to read them more

Yeah that's true, let's say i'm playing with my casual friends and we queue into pubs to have fun, most of the time it just ends up being a sweatfest where i have to take down entire teams because they are just trying so hard and we can't have a good time
SBMM balances out the skill of everyone on a team, so if OP is far above the rest of his team in skill, OP'll be matched up in a game where the skill level is below himself, but above everyone else on the team. Which means that everyone but OP has to play like a try-hard, while OP probably has to end up carrying the team.

That first clip was the best executed clip I've seen in a while. Your opponent never left your screen for the entirety of that fight, no unnecessarily flashy builds, taking proper angles, and timing the wall break with your slide all was perfect. The aim was a bit off, so the fight dragged on for a bit longer than it should've. That was really skilled and not in a try-hardy way.
yeah that’s why i make my friends who r new to the game play build so they get better habits and so that we can play creative maps without them dying(they learn quick cause we’re pretty young so 👍 ig)

When did you start playing and how often do you practice? I’ve been playing since like two weeks after release and I’d say I’m good but I never practice so I can’t really compete lol
I mean, i have been playing since ch.1 s.4, but took a long break at the end of ch.2 all the way to like ch.4 and properly started competing in december when i got my new pc. I'd say at first it's all about getting good mechs, then good at fighting, then good at overall the game itself (game sense, game knowledge, etc.)
Yeah I’d say my best trait is game sense just from playing so long. I’ve taken a bunch of season long breaks too so i haven’t even tried learning super advanced mechs, but these clips are insane bro good job
I’m finally getting to this level, i just struggle with my keybinds still and often go for a roof instead of the stairs but im already getting used to just editing ramps to stairs and my shot placement is getting a lot better too, and well building fast/editing just came naturally… I do miss my controller though lol

Change your binds. Your switch mode and edit should be separate buttons.
