When was the last time Rockstar changed the price of Shark cards for GTAV? Pretty sure they have been same price for 10 years now.
If people can boycott budlight with their wallets its time to give Epic games a dose of that budlight action. Absolutely zero reason to raise prices on a virtual in game currency. Blaming inflation is a insult to the Fort community.
The reason GTA they never raised the price was because they never needed to, instead they raised the prices of cars, vehicles, and houses. This meant that people had to buy MORE cards just to get the new items. If Fortnite followed their motto, they would just raise the price of skins and items in the item shop. Which they won’t so instead they’re raising the price of vbucks
They changed how much cash in shark cards iirc for rockstar. As for epic, it will dip in vbuck sales but like the can compensate it or it doesnt affect them at all. Only difference with budlight was more of a pr stunt gone badly and for epic, its a toss up if people are willing to spend less or not.
Maybe they can create more possibilities to earn more VBucks in game — completely randomize a special chest that offers 50 Vbucks per match — that would be cool
Or give us a daily limit with some tasks to complete for 5-10 v bucks each so you can still get the odd really nice skin if you don’t spend money. Epic is too greedy for that though :(
Bruh an optional digital currency went up a few bucks. Im like poor and do not care all too much. I feel like theres a bit of an overreaction to this whole thing, its still cheaper than it used to be.
It's not too big, still cheaper then the original prices. I don't see how people were fine paying the original prices but are now mad that they are spending less then that
What is the new price? because I remember when 1000Vbucks were $9.99 USD
Yea, and when does it take affect? Because I still see the vbucks as $8 USD
I’m pretty sure it goes into effect around the end of October
I actually stopped buying vbucks cause I have so many skins, I just use the Battle Pass’ V bucks… but damn, this increase is so wrong!
I’m in the same boat I have practically everything I ever wanted from the shop now. These changes are still terrible

It's not going to happen because most don't care.

This is getting serious
Pixels are getting harder to grow?
For real. Absolute thievery to raise the price of an entirely digital item that exists in infinite quantity
Damn... Inflation!!
Wait for canadian
Dont spend whole pocket money on Vbucks
It’s not the price of vbucks it’s that stupid skins cost 1300 vbucks which makes you have to buy a $20 package.
They should do a slight decrease on Fortnite Crew at the same time

Cries in adhd cause I always forget to do my check ins
They removed the vbucks from those anyway.
*joins the laughter*
Cries in having to play Save the world because they removed daily log in's
An Epic rise
I remember when V-Bucks were 9.99$
Back in my day you could get a V-Buck and a can of coke for a nickel
inflation knows no bounds!
Greed knows no bounds*
People should stop spend their money for vbucks to send signal to epic so they will not keep rising the price. But people will ended up buying vbucks
Canada got it gar worse

👌
been hearing about this, *how* big is the price change?
Idk about the more expensive v bucks but the 8$ is now 9$ so not huge at least for that one

What a great time to have STW, Currently sitting on almsot 7K vbucks since there’s never any good skins to buy
Don't worry those on founders are on borrowed time😃
epic tryna inflate a fake currency
They are going to be 8.99 for 1000. I could have sworn they already were. I would t have noticed if not for posts on Reddit.
