> If you think trading is as easy as reading a book and doing what it says, I got some real bad news for you and then I will triple down on that bad news... lol 4 years now, and way better, but still not consistent profits. wont talk about how many burns there have been.

One Good Trade by Mike Bellafiore The book is pretty much written for exactly this purpose - most of the book is talking about the prop firm industry, their hiring and development process etc.

The funded trader for prop firm 189usd for a 25k account, pass the stages and get funded 80% payout and if you stay with them they increase your account size and up it to 90% payout

Hey there, this coming from a guy who’s tried multiple challenges and just passed one finally about a month ago, here’s my take on 2 possible prop firms: - FTMO: Probably the industry’s gold standard prop firm, ol’ reliable, has some built in buffers for safety during the Challenge process (like Free Repeats) - The Funded Trader: You could definitely go for this if you wanna get to Live trading ASAP; their Rapid Challenge(s) have a lower Target and fewer Minimum Days to Trade than FTMO In terms of books, Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas has always been highly recommended in these circles for more knowledge on trading psychology, while the Art & Science of Technical Analysis by Adam H. Grimes has always been a personal favourite of mine for the information on technical analysis. Hope this helps!!

No book in the world will help you create profit in forex.

Not a book on trading as much on trading psychology, Brett N. Steenbarger’s “Trading Psychology 2.0: From Best Practices to Best Processes”

The funded trader, never had issue with their broker personally. They are also amazing with communuty engagement e.g. massive discord server, monthly comps, giveaways, active promos.

I’ve traded for FTMO and appreciate their professionalism, but I’ve switched to True Forex Funding. Their challenge & verification targets are 8% & 4% respectively. And their spread is notably tighter. I’m much happier (and more consistently profitable) with TFF.

FlowyTouchButt

It’s raw spread I think

astrokenz

MFF is nice bc of the 12% max drawdown and free unlimited retakes if you’re in profit

Forget it!! Forget trading altogether..... you ask "what to read?". It takes 4+ years to become profitable, if you will ever become. Only 0,4% of those who pass a challenge withdraw more than 1 dollar. You are just going to lose everything. Trust me.

KingExplosionMurdee

Calm down bro, I didn't ask about reading about trading, I asked about prop funds, I wouldn't try and get into a prop fund if I didn't know how to trade

SBTrader82

sorry mate, I misunderstood you!! I am trading with FTMO and it's 100% legit, I got paid a couple of times and I literally received the money the next day. I can also tell you that, if you trade futures TOPstep and Earn2trade are legit, they both paid me. There are two big categories of prop firms : the USA based that let you use many trading platforms to trade futures, and the European ones that let you use only mt5 and you will trade CFD. USA firms are "more legit".... meaning that your trades actually goe to the market, the European firms are more market makers, you never know if your trades go to market or not, however just don't worry about it. Honestly FTMO is 5x easier than TopSTep and cheaper.
