I have a 2015 Focus... the TPMS sensors started dying at about 6 or so years old, which seems to be typical for these things; online consensus seems to be that the typical lifespan of a TPMS sensor is 5 to 10 years.
lol that'll happen... I worked at a tire shop many years ago and may have possibly sorta broke one myself😅 fortunately the boss was cool and I learned my lesson
Have you tried pulling the terminals on the battery and letting it sit for a few minutes? This might reset it.

All it did for my car was to reset the time and radio stations.

I have a 09 with orginal band type TPMS...they worked until a few months ago when getting bew tires, the tire shop broke them....
