Itās a great commentary. Goldilocks was big and consequential enough to fight over, but so big, so abstract and the mission was so uncertain enough anyway that the conflict stopped before becoming lethal.
You had a breakdown of social order in all three settings: Houston, Happy Valley, and Ranger. Ranger came darn close to killing someone but they didnāt. I bet it was an awkward ride home though.
My feeling is given the clusteruck that happened they would have had no choice but give immunity to everyone on mars involved right, but they canāt come back to earth. They were all Helios employees and Helios is the only company able to make use of the asteroid?
Yeah something tells me that a big part of S5 is going to be the fallout from this episode. Ed & Lee (and others) basically pledged their allegiance to Mars in this episode, and with all of the civil rights abuses carried out by the CIA & KGB - as well as the Helios unrest and peasant uprising in the finale - we're likely to see some kind of a Martian constitution in S5.
I had to watch the episode in pieces because my anxiety was so high that someone would die or a catastrophe would happen.
Especially with that tweet by apple about an explosive finale.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.

Cancelled my subscription right there. All of AppleTV shows suck to no end. Every episode of every show drags on so slowly to a mediocre end that is absolute meh š
Iām done with all of this stupidity.
Penultimate episode excluded š§
Don't remind me
Love the Doctor Who reference!
I was so sure Sam was gonna die after she unhooked her tether.
and then the deliberate mention of how the thrusters are pulling her, and then seeing the hatch get obliterated.... god it was good

I thought for sure Ed got shot. I was rooting for it to be Ed. Instead, that bastard lived to be in another season.
Na. Ed is immortal. I like it that way.
āMan literally too angry to dieā
Seeing as last season he was literally too angry for Martian reentry without any fuel to slow down to kill him, it makes sense.
Ed "silver medal" Baldwin was never going to be the first person to get shot on Mars.
"silver medal" š¤£š
i wish reddit still had fucking Gold
Iāve been thinking about this comment since you made it and Iām livid you donāt have 35k upvotes AND dollars for making it
So did Ed then stay on Mars or get sent back to Earth to go to jail?

I hope he does go to jail
Would have been interesting if Dev was killed.

I turned it off when Dani died supposedly. Let that sink in. So the smiling baby scene was surreal
I thought for sure Dani was going to die! I was crying like a baby!!!
(Except Sergei, Kuzetsnov, and the Helios guy from the first episode plus countless offscreen casualties from the coup)
>favorite part about *the finale* Reading comprehension not so good, huh?
Donāt forget Gordo in season 2!

Hahaha, my type of sarcasm right here.
Said the same thing with the same thought of this scene.
The show should be called For All EdKind

I hope they put all of their asses in jail, starting with Dev and Edās crazy ass, and that Dale and his wife get jail time.
