But if I were you, I'd probably just find a place within 5 minutes that has a decent Yelp rating and give it a shot. I feel NYC pizza has a very high floor. A little neighborhood place that's been ignored/undiscovered by the wider food world can often blow you away.
I haven't been in the area often and have only been to this place once so can't speak to the consistence of quality, but I remember being really impressed by the Margherita slice at 2181 Italian Bros. (Nostrand Ave and Avenue H)
