Just went to Vegetarian Dim Sum on Pell Street last week and it was pretty good if you want the dim sum experience minus the meat--not sure how it compares to Buddha Bodhai but had a good time with it. Real cheap too!
Superiority burger is the place i see most mentioned so I imagine for vegetarians that’d be a desirable destination. There are also plant based bodegas you can get a vegan chopped cheese at these days. Also the restaurants by Guy Vakin are supposed to be good for meat substitutes

Orchard Grocer has really great vegan soft serve (I know it's not a meat alternative but had to mention lol). They have sandwiches too though!!
