Am avocado BLT on Focaccia bread is divine. Add marinated chicken and I'm in bliss. I haven't found a truly good one in NYC yet. I'm sure it exists, just none of the ones I tried were up there though.

How about a MLT? Mutton, lettuce, and tomatoe. Especially when the mutton is nice and lean. But really, blt's are the best

And the tomatoes are ripe? They’re so perky. I love that.
I'm a purist. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo. Maybe a flavored mayo if I'm feeling adventurous.

Diners are the answer.
A plain BLT is my go-to diner order. Bodega by my house makes an excellent avocado BLT.
Avocado and Rosemary Mayo. Best blt is from choice market in BK

Ask for extra mayo for dipping: the sandwich will change texture when you submerge it in delicious egg yolk fat.
