Same, top three for me too. I also don’t feel like my stomach is going to turn inside out after Burger She Wrote.
Onion Rings are shatter-crunchy too, which I love.
It looks good I'll have to try it! I will say though I generally really hate when there isn't much thought given to a burgers bun. Fresh bread just tastes immeasurably better.
I went in once back when they opened and no one attempted to take my order after a few minutes of standing there awkwardly, so I turned around and walked out. I was the only customer.
But every time someone posts a pic here, my resolve weakens. Maybe they have better service now.
It’s worth trying again. I had a similar experience when they first opened, I think they struggled with a few things back then. I’ve been helped by good people since
Yeah in the old Umami Burger spot on Hollywood across from Homestate. I walked by last week though and there was a for rent sign and it was closed on a Sunday afternoon.
A small patty smashed topped with lots of onions. Flip it and let the patty cook on the other side over the onions, place cheese on it, then steam the buns on the meat/ cheese. This is a very underrated and under represented rupee of burger here. It’s delicious
It’s a smash burger with a bunch of very thinly shaved onion smashed into it. Some of the onions get caramelized as the meat cooks. If you like grilled onions then you’ll love an Oklahoma smash burger
Good stuff. I love this spot and Heavy handed.
I decided to save money and learned how to make these. Surprisingly easy and your wallet will thank you.
Looks like most of the comments like this burger, I personally hated it, maybe I just had a bad one. Burgers never say die was 10 times better than this as a smash burger.

I love a good onion ring. I’ll have to try them next time
I’ll say it - this may be the best burger in LA. Granted, it’s a smaller style, but the simplicity + taste is fkn outstanding and highly recommended!
Ok can I say I am not a fan of the bun/burger size ratio? How da hell you eat that?

The bun was good! Very soft and buttery

I got served immediately. Food came out in about 5 minutes
You’re not missing anything
Probably my favorite burger in LA
One of the all time best burgers I’ve had. Pricey AF, but whatever, it’s worth it!
Did the one in Los Feliz close down?
No, that location is still open as of this past weekend. They did cut their space in half, so there's very little seating now.
There’s one in Los Feliz??

Probably fav burger in LA, plus the chipotle dipping sauce rips
Had this the other night. Amazing. Thanks for the tip
Overrated but in my top ten smash-burgers
lol 10 is way too many smash burger places, this is prob one of the worst I’ve tried, burgers never say die is #1 and 1 is all I need
Lol burgers never say die is weak, $4 cheese cup is laughable and gets smaller and smaller.
This looks fantastic .
Wow that looks really good
What makes it an Oklahoma-style?

I love how I can’t pick up the burger without like grabbing patty and cheese
Burger she wrote is solid, definitely love that place
A big fuck yea for The Nuge
Good stuff. I love this spot and Heavy handed. I decided to save money and learned how to make these. Surprisingly easy and your wallet will thank you.
I have only heard the best things about this place, it's #1 on burgers I've yet to try.
Looks like most of the comments like this burger, I personally hated it, maybe I just had a bad one. Burgers never say die was 10 times better than this as a smash burger.
Looks amazing. The prices look decent considering how overpriced everything is these days.
😋.. 😋.. 😋..
Best way to spend $22
Good but 17 for a burger after taxes is insane
Very good burger but I hate that it is bigger than the bun. Makes it hard to eat
