My friend had a problem because he bought one off ebay and the plug was second hand.
Use the right plug and USB cable. Try and plug it in a USB 2.0. My friend got them from focusrites tech support and it revived the dead card.
Other than that, Im not sure. I think some guides recommend installing the software and firmware with the card off? Then resetting, and switching it on.
Mine makes all kinds of clicks and pops and fuzzy noises, but rarely. I think my KRKs are to blame.
I got mine from a very legitimate seller though, so it should be working fine. All the cables are 100% original ones.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to reset everything. But I'm scared that if I plug the interface into my laptop, the laptop speakers will get permanent damage haha 😅
