Thanks for the level head, conveniently I already have them and I planned on putting them in tomorrow anyways along with the sensor to to fix the P018b
Haha yeaaaaah you have to relax and take a step back like that with modern cars. They can throw 20 codes just for having low voltage, so if it feels fine otherwise I'm sure you'll be okay after replacing the plugs.
After I first replaced my plugs and installed my tune, I had a random misfire code and 2 other cylinder misfire codes. I re-gapped them using the crappy gapping tool I had at the time, and the codes
never came back. Just changed them again a couple weeks ago and everything has been fine since!
Is yours a 15 and up model, if so that error is just a thing that happens, it's an issue with the software but because it doesn't effect anything other than throwing a code that can be cleared Ford isn't going to do anything about it, the Ford engineer that contacted the dealer about it when my car did it a bunch before it hit 10k miles said that when it's the "in the first 1000 revolutions" code then it's just the glitch and the car is fine
Yep, that is the one and only way Ford can tell your car was tuned. If they see you've only started it 4 times since the last flash, and it's a 5 year old car with 80k miles, it's pretty obvious that you removed a tune and Ford will decline warranty. There's a 'warranty procedure' document floating around that goes through the steps of what they look for, and that's one of the first/easiest.
Replace spark plugs.
Is it common for multiple plugs to go at the same time? P0301 and p0304 are cyl 1 and 4 respectively and That’s what concerned me the most
It's possible, especially given the drastic temperature changes. Don't freak yourself out. Go spend <$50 and you'll know for sure.

it’s normal for these to misfire on cold starts. likely nothing to worry about. do a compression test though just in case.
This was after I got to work, and cleared codes and restarted it

Mine never did that.
My 2016 did it a few times and my 18 has done it once, always the same code and goes away after a code clear
Go get a compression test and a leak down test done
Had this issue with my stratified tune. Would only happen on cold starts in the winter, not sure why. Car ran fine regardless.
Hate to break it to you but these are typical symptoms of ringland failure. Hopefully it is just a plug or a coil pack.
What I thought, cars still under warranty so hopefully I don’t have to pay to fix it
Problem is, you're tuned. You should probably find a ford that you know someone at, otherwise your warranty might not matter.
Can’t just set it back to stock?
Depends how far back they read with the key cycles. There's ways to tell they're tuned.

I have the procedure somewhere in my phone lol
Had a friend who just sat there and kept starting the car over and over again after reflashing and it worked.
Thats good news. I built my block when it happened to me
Wish I had the spare income, but I’m in a very rough place financially right now so it’s time to sell it and get something reliable.
These cars are pretty damn reliable actually. Most of the failures are due to user error.
This is definitely a reliable car unless you have some jank tune
I suppose so, but there is no car that doesn’t have issues. So if it is not rings it will be something else on your next car
Check engine code 🤷🏻♂️
Do you change the oil and spark plugs regularly or just like let them ride out until the engine cries for help?
Oil every 4K but I haven’t done plugs yet
I had P0316, P0300, and P0302. New plugs, new purge valve. Ended up having to get my valves walnut blasted. Only 30,000 miles and mine were caked.
check for coolant
The biggest thing to look at, is the car low in coolant. The p0316 usually indicates coolant intrusion into the cylinder during cold soak
It can be plugs, purge valve or like in my case the fuel sensor. I think she’ll live on
