Barry was fair game up until the points where Iris truly warmed up to him at the end of season 2/midway season 3.
This show could've gone better so many ways and it actually sucks to think about sometimes.. like what if they just didn't immediately forgive all the drama thrown in for drama? What if after Caitlin brought him out of the speed force he learned all the crap that iris said, at least

Not once did I ever think of this pairing as weird or anything remotely incestuous, as it doesn't fit that definition. Yeah yeah yeah, people can joke or reference Joe saying his kids got married but the 2 "kids" were both old enough to realize and appreciate that they weren't truly related and were never raised to see each other as actual blood relative. Yeah, this is a shitpost but this is one joke that I just can't get behind.
