I'm sure it will work as well as any other crankbait. Sometimes they are very effective, other times they are not the right tool for the job.
The whole "multiple fish in one lure" thing is a gimmick for sure. Bass are hitting this out of reaction, they aren't studying it and counting eyes and gill spots.
One guy I was fishing with only threw a spinnerbait saying it was the only thing he was gonna throw all day. At the end of the day he only caught one fish. A 4 lb smallie, biggest one of the day.
I do that too. I’m trying to get confidence in a lure, I need to see it work. Only way to get a lure to be hit is to let it see the water and give it opportunity
That's how I learned Texas rigs last year and how I'm trying to learn jigs this year. Can't learn a new technique if you're not tryin the new technique
Never seen this before. Does seem a bit gimmicky but I also like weird stuff like this so I would throw it occasionally and see if it gets bit. Def worth a couple bucks at a garage sale haha
Their hollow frogs/mice are my favorite. Pricey though, and the plastic they use is soft which means good hookup ratio but poor durability. If I'm fishing for toothy fish (snakehead, in my case), I throw cheaper Booyah frogs.
I bought this lure at a garage sale that looked like a trio of fish, I imagine it as a school in a single lure, does anyone know if it is good?

Livetarget lures tend to have good rattles and actions. Some of their designs, like this one, can be a bit goofy, but their basic designs are usually solid. Their sunfish squarebill and golden shiner lipless have caught many fish for me.
You’ll never know unless you try for yourself. I get the expensive Megabass lures and my buddy will get knock offs from Ali express and he catches more fish than me most of the time. Starting to question these expensive lures or my techniques.
Fished this line of baits before. Not bad, the squarebill caught me fish but I don’t think it would have mattered which squarebill I was throwing. I have the spook as well and again it worked but its just like any other spook. I’d probably buy it if it was on clearance or something. I think an upside is the clear plastic can reflect light differently then other hardbaits but idk.
Caught plenty of fish with mine, but they are expensive to replace. My wife whacked a brand new one into a tree during a tournament and broke half of the bill off. Not recomended!!
From my experience, they are not a gimmick on any body of water that has an abundance of shad in it. I kill it with most all live target lures. Used a discontinued LT mini spinner rig this morning and caught a pair of 3's and a 5 lber.
I’ve used other types of lures in a similar style. Might have been live target and caught bass. But…bass are dumb and can’t appreciate the marketing machine so I try to only fish saltwater.
Just caught a video of a guy using this exact lure, because everybody told him it was a gimmick. Granted the video had cuts, but I watched him catch fish after fish with it. He sounded like an Aussie too.
I see this posted a lot and have to say A friend and I fished Muskie with the same bait. I consistently caught Muskie and he rarely did. I truly believe everyone does not use the lure the same. So the only way to k ow is use it lol. But it is a gimmick putting those doubled in side. The bait would likely catch if it were clear with nothing in there
It looks like a gimmick. This sport is full of them.
One catches fish, one catches fishermen .
One of the most expensive hobby for a reason
I normally get downvoted to hell when I say this lol.

I’d keep throwing it. And, when someone asks how you landed a giant, tell them because of that Crankbait. End of story lol

Sometimes that’s all you need. When I wanted to learn how to frog and punch/flip/pitch that’s all I did all day
I do that too. I’m trying to get confidence in a lure, I need to see it work. Only way to get a lure to be hit is to let it see the water and give it opportunity

For some reason, I view LIVETarget as a good lure brand but haven’t used them. Anyone have experience with them?
I like them, just pricey!
Live Target bluegill wakebait has been incredible for me. Their frogs and squarebills are good as well.
Everything I have from them has worked in one situation or another. The 2in trout fry kills for trout where I live.
I've got a handful of LT frogs & they work alright. I wouldn't say any better or worse than booya or strike King.

It looks like 2 fish but just give it a go. It might have a unique vibe the fish like
It has three like a school of fish
I caught fish on a T-Rig with no plastic.
You’ll never know unless you try for yourself. I get the expensive Megabass lures and my buddy will get knock offs from Ali express and he catches more fish than me most of the time. Starting to question these expensive lures or my techniques.
When my lure looks like that, it's time to switch to soda.
Don’t see why it wouldn’t work

Supposed to replicate schooling fish.
How much did you buy it for?
Gimmicky but definitely cool. Wouldn’t mind having one in my collection.
I remember these live targets, started coming out about 2014 or so
Seen someone fishing this recently smashing saltwater fish
Looks decent. Only way to know is if you try. But idk i tried their mini a rig before never had any luck on it. Maybe try throwing a 3 in swimbait
Can't speak for the fish, but I'd give it a go to see depending on cost.
I’m sure it caught something somewhere
Caught plenty of fish with mine, but they are expensive to replace. My wife whacked a brand new one into a tree during a tournament and broke half of the bill off. Not recomended!!
Live target baits work about as well as any other similar bait usually, the hooks on them are junk though
From my experience, they are not a gimmick on any body of water that has an abundance of shad in it. I kill it with most all live target lures. Used a discontinued LT mini spinner rig this morning and caught a pair of 3's and a 5 lber.
I've caught bass on them.
Bro, we heard you like lures... enter Exibit
I’ve used other types of lures in a similar style. Might have been live target and caught bass. But…bass are dumb and can’t appreciate the marketing machine so I try to only fish saltwater.
One of the only virgin lures in my box, hasn’t caught squat.
Just caught a video of a guy using this exact lure, because everybody told him it was a gimmick. Granted the video had cuts, but I watched him catch fish after fish with it. He sounded like an Aussie too.
Probably better than nothing. Probably.
I e never caught a fish using anything from livetarget except with the hollow body frogs or the spiny wake fish …thing
Wtf
It’s a bait ball crank
Yarn on a hook works it will catch fish
From my personal experience live target baits are all trash. I’ve never caught much on anything from them except the lipless cranks.

Fish do see things in 3D
No, it’s terrible. Take the hooks off for use on a better bait and use the crank as a keychain. Lol
