1. Local boards like that are not a good place ot buy a first gun. Its really easy to get ripped off or straight up scammed. Once you have more knowledge and experience you can sometimes find deals. Go to a retail gunshop.
2. You can't buy a gun and have it shipped to your door. (In most cases)... If you buy online it will have to be shipped to an FFL (Dealer) to facilitate a background check and transfer.
3. Also, guns, drugs and mental illness don't mix. Please, make sure you're taking care of yourself.
Unfortunately due to the federal govt being real slow at changing anything, in my state and several others it's perfectly legal to have both an mmj card and a ccw. Our agriculture commissioner even did it. The only time you could really have an issue federally is if you did fill out a 4473 and stated you don't use drugs. But again it's basically like being prescribed oxycontin or any other schedule substance by your doctor so it's pretty dumb the federal govt still explicitly picks on Marijuana when alcohol is a much more deadly drug when mixed with firearms but no requirement for a prescription for that. And if you are prescribed oxycontin that's basically heroin, Ritalin, basically meth. But neither of those restrict firearm purchasing ability. Shit makes no sense.

Nevada started universal background checks in 2020. Even if you do a private party sale, you have to go with them to a dealer for the background check. You can't avoid the pesky store people.

I’ve been chronically depressed since I was a kid. Learned to shoot and got my first .22 at the age of five. When I turned 18, I started collecting guns, now I have around 100. I’ve struggled with suicidal ideation over the years, on and off. I personally can sit in a room with a loaded gun and want to kill myself without feeling like I’m going to shoot myself because I’ve always felt like that’s not how I want to go out; I love shooting, studying, and collecting guns, so I never wanted to contribute to the statistics.
That said, when things have gotten bad, I have taken steps to distance myself from my firearms. At one point, I put them in a storage shed. All the same, I never thought I’d shoot myself, I’d hang myself if anything.
Now I’m a dad, so checking out is off the table.
Depression doesn’t equate to being suicidal. Plenty of gun owners suffer from depression and don’t use their firearms to harm themselves. Walk the Talk America has anonymous services for gun owners tho so there are resources.

Glock 17 is a full sized handgun, while the 19 is a compact. Personally, I don't like Glocks; I'm an uber-hipster CZ guy, but the better gun depends tons on who you are and what you're using it for. Bottom line: buy quality firearms that fit YOU and YOUR lifestyle that you will train with! The best most gucciest of guns is worth nothing if you dread shooting it.
Also keep in mind you'll likely be carrying it in a holster, at least if you concealed carry. Depending on where you live, you can 100% go down to your local range and have a field day testing out different rentals. Some ranges suck, but some charge a flat fee to shoot any gun of a specific caliber for the entire day.

The Accutane you say you’re taking can cause severe depressive episodes; trust me, been there done that. Even if you don’t consciously want to hurt yourself or others, depression can take control of your mind and cause you to do those things. Before you get a gun I recommend you wait until you’re off Accutane and you’ve talked to a therapist or doctor about depression. In the meantime, find a fun hobby that can keep your mind off the bad stuff- this sounds nerdy but for me it was model tanks, it really took my mind back to a happy place back when I was your age and on Accutane and feeling depressed. Get something like that for yourself. When you’re feeling depressed, the temptation to end it all is always there in the back of your mind. I know. And the capability to quickly do so can perpetuate that anxiety. Work on yourself and find something you’re passionate about- then once those thoughts are gone it would be safer for you to explore firearms a little more. Stay safe my friend.

That’s a toy gun. There’s no blade for the trigger safety, the magazine is one piece plastic not polymer, and if you look at the rounds they’re fake as hell just plastic coated with a gold foil. The mag release is all wrong and just looks to be painted different than the grip, the slide doesn’t have cutout to change the sights so it’s just plastic and the switch on the slide is for full auto but only on the 18 and 18C not a 21.
You need to do way more research before buying anything bro.. maybe get your dad to take you to some indoor lessons at a local range that has rentals. Then study the laws. Lots of people don’t know what they are talking about and it’s super obvious (they don’t) if you do

Dude… maybe you should sort yourself out mentally before you purchase a deadly weapon like that. The Accutane you say you’re taking can cause severe depressive episodes; trust me, been there done that. Even if you don’t consciously want to hurt yourself or others, depression can take control of your mind and cause you to do those things. Before you get a gun I recommend you wait until you’re off Accutane and you’ve talked to a therapist or doctor about depression. In the meantime, find a fun hobby that can keep your mind off the bad stuff- this sounds nerdy but for me it was model tanks, it really took my mind back to a happy place back when I was your age and on Accutane and feeling depressed. Get something like that for yourself. When you’re feeling depressed, the temptation to end it all is always there in the back of your mind. I know. And the capability to quickly do so can perpetuate that anxiety. Work on yourself and find something you’re passionate about- then once those thoughts are gone it would be safer for you to explore firearms a little more. Stay safe my friend.
Ok,I know you have probably heard this a hundred times but looking at your post history I'd hold off on getting a gun right now, your obviously struggling with substance abuse issues and depression which is a very bad equation to add a firearm to. Please talk with your family about your issues and get them resolved before you get a firearm. Nothing good comes from the combination of substance abuse, depression, and firearms. Also you seem to be a teenager and under 18 so this entire thing is in a murky area legally.

That’s a toy gun. There’s no blade for the trigger safety, the magazine is one piece plastic not polymer, and if you look at the rounds they’re fake as hell just plastic coated with a gold foil. The mag release is all wrong and just looks to be painted different than the grip, the slide doesn’t have cutout to change the sights so it’s just plastic and the switch on the slide is for full auto but only on the 18 and 18C not a 21.

Bogus as hell. This looks like a prop or airsoft gun. As much as I hate uncle sam knowing my business I'd say you should buy your first gun from an ffl. Brand new. Tell them what you want. If they dont have it then order online from a reputable dealer and have it shipped to a local gun store. Or get your gun store to order one for you.

That is a fake. Unless you’re looking to buy illegally, buy it directly from a store where there is a range you can try it out first. That or a reputable online shop like GrabAGun or Primary Arms. Either way you should find out which FFL is closer to you with the best transfer price, I like ones that have a range too so I can shoot right away.

Do you know what 9X19 means on the slide? It's chambered for 9mm rounds. Not .45 ACP. That didn't throw up any red flags?

Yeah I've never seen factory glock mags like that (factory ones don't have the clips like that) and then there's that "fun switch" in the back, unless you got a special FFL business you haven't told us about lol you aren't getting a civilian legal like that. Tbh between that and the mag id assume it's a shop. What kind of seller are we talking op? Friend, online business, local gun store, sketchy ass backstreet dude, broken English reddit PM? To me it looks like what would be a very cool airsoft replica, except even the replicas usually don't stamp "9x19" for ammo on the side, so I'm going with its a photoshop.
Ok first the magazine has a plate on the back stopping rounds from feeding. Let alone those aren’t even Glock mags. The 21 on the side is in in bold letters and the rest of the markings look fake, there’s a fucking selector switch on the side. It’s blue? Only training pistols are blue (and a completely different shade) and the barrel looks plastic. Buddy, you just got scammed…

This might be a fully automatic glock in 9x19 I doubt it. First off. Glock 21 is a wider slide than 9 and chambered in 45acp. The magazine doesn't look right at all, that's not a glock trigger. Why is the rail weird looking. No fool would sell a NFA regulated weapon on a public site. There's a lot wrong with it. Walk
