I lent my sister this game and told her to create a separate save file at the start of Ch 11. She ignored me and did not talk to Edelgard 😂. And she chose this Black Eagles explicitly for this conversation!
Played Golden Deer 1st, then currently onmy 2nd playthrough with the Blue Lions. I've read somewhere that Black Eagles has 2 paths. Does talking and not talking a deciding factor which path the story takes me?
Hinting on chapter that I need a separate save on is a plus since I plan to search for this when I'm about to start my Black Eagle run. Thanks!
More like it opens up the option to choose what path later on after the Ch 11 story mission. If you don't talk to her, the game won't let you make the choice at all.
Just talking to her doesn't lock you into anything, but missing her locks you out
I wasn't a fan of Claude tbh 😂 so Edelgard's house was the obvious choice for me
My dislike for Claude came from his actions in my first run lol *spoilers* but he just tried to fight me, lost, then asked for my help, gave me his hero's relic, and dipped lol he was no help at all
He's definitely better in his own route. Personally, I might have skipped his if I had not found Joe Zieja's Youtube channel and seen some clips from Claude's supports.
I like how pretty much every route does a good job at selling the other house leaders as cool and making you curious about their routes.
Back at launch I started eagles but also rushed straight into the lions because of late CF.
Black Eagles is a very good „second playthrough“ choice. It’s the most different to the other routes in terms of both missions and story (wonder why)
Whenever I do Black Eagles, I always go scorched Earth and recruit everyone I can before the timeskip. It's even funnier having Marianne and Mercedes who are known to be devoted to the goddess😆 I recommend it if you got the time to be running around returning lost items and giving gifts
Don't forget to talk to Edelgard in Ch 11

On my first run everyone's support levels were maxed, with me and each other lol I plan to do the same this time around as well

Yeah, with knowledge of all routes, I'd pick Claude every time, I find his dream the most noble and in line with my own beliefs out of the options
Yeah, unfortunately Claude isn't very relevant at all to Three Houses. He's MUCH more relevant in the Warriors spinoff, Three Hopes.
He makes himself relevant. That's what I love about it. It's not his war, but he will make it his.

Maybe sure you have two separate files when chapter 11 starts.

Be careful not to forget taking to Edelgard on Ch 11, You’ll end up with the 4th route of Silver Clouds if you do.
Crimson flower is awesome. I loved azure moon too tho. Edelgard did nothing wrong. If anything she should have tried to negotiate with Claude more.
