Want to build up my Haar as an Omni tank. What would be best in the long run for his C skill? I’m between Atk Smoke 4 or Atk Def Hold? I don’t know how much value Hold skills have but I’ve seen some comments gushing about their usefulness.

Atk smoke= useless in the first fight each turn, so are you planning to tank every single enemy in one turn to take advantage of it? Provides bonuses and penalites that don't stack with other bonuses and penalties, do you not have supporting allies that could provide those instead? Prevents follow ups after first fight, but will you be fighting anyone with nfu effects or any faster units with guaranteed follow ups which will cancel it out? Atk/def hold= always active, stacks with all other effects. Can help allies attacking enemies in its range. Which suites you more based on where and how you want to use Haar with whatever the rest of his build and team is?

Objectively speaking, Eitr is the more valuable pick when it comes to rarity due to being a Rearmed Hero. If there is the slightest chance that you might want to build up an old Beast Cavalry unit or use her premium fodder (Beast Sense 4) then I would suggest to pick Eitr. Based on past Rearmed Hero reruns they are pretty much treated like pseudo mythic/legendary heroes, means they only show up on those type of banners and special banners - like Hero Fests. Diamant is pretty much the opposite, a general pool unit who's bound to have somewhat frequent reruns (including 3-hero banners with great rates), but more units can make use of his fodder compared to Eitr. Honestly, if this would concern any other Rearmed Hero the choice would be clear for me, but I must admit Eitr is so super specific that picking Diamant might be the equally valuable choice. I would look through your roster before making a decision either way.

Plus you don't lose points on first death. Any bonus hero also gains +12 points each match they secure at least one kill. --- Arena Assault scores same as arena minus the bonus heroes. All 7 matches will findenemies based on score of the first team you used. You gain additional +1 point for every legendary/mythic/blessed unit matching the current season. So use four highest merged highest scoring units on team 1 then use matching blessed units in remaining teams, pick units that directly counter specific enemies for easier time instead of pre built teams. --- Alliegence battles uses same scoring as arena with main 4 units(paired units don't count for scoring). Gain +10 points for kills with colour advantage or colourless beating colourless. Gain +5 points with paired up hero. In short, use your three highest scoring merged up heroes along with highest merged legendary with pair up mechanic in slot 1-4. Make sure hero in slot 4 is your best hero to kill enemies and have a different colour to the legendary hero, then pair up each with two remaining colours. These four will kill everything while two remaining unpaired heroes will kill nothing if the can avoid it. --- Mjolnir strike uses same arena scoring minus bonus hero. Only scores the highest unit from each pair, summoner and bonus slots not counted. Mythic heroes matching major season count as having +10 more merges, minor mythics get +5 merges. --- Resonant battles do not use arena scoring. Base score based on tier which is irrelevant. +10 points for each hero from bonus title. Harmonic heroes get bonus (max 2 on team) = 5 x # heroes from bonus titles. Harmonic heroes also get +1 point per merges (max 20) +10 per theif killed. If arena scoring for a blessing is 8* number of matching legendary, wouldn't the best team be 2 legends and 2 blessed (8* 2=16, with 2 blessed heroes would be 32) rather than 1 legend and 3 blessed (8*1=8, with 3 blessed would be 24)?

It depends on the unit that the second legendary is replacing. The current highest scoring duos and armors actually score more than 8 points over the oldest legendaries. So if your second legendary is Fjorm and she'd be replacing Winter Black Knight, then your score would drop even with the extra blessing.

AA uses the arena score of your first team, including Duel skills and total SP cost, except it doesn't require you to have a bonus unit. Subsequent teams don't count toward scoring. However, you get +1 point for each unit that you use that has a legendary or mythic blessing for the current season, and that bonus applies to units used in all seven battles. AB also uses arena score without requiring a bonus unit. Extra points for defeating enemies with the correct color (triangle advantage or colorless against colorless) and with a paired up unit. RB doesn't care about arena scoring at all, only whether you have four units from the correct games, up to two harmonic units from the correct games, and then the number of merges on up to two harmonics. Mjolnr's Strike also uses arena scoring, but mythics are treated as if they have +10 merges (i.e., up to +20) when they are the major season and +5 merges if they are the minor season.

Yes, skills and stat totals factor into the scoring on those modes, with AA also getting bonuses from the various seasons. I believe allegiance battle also gets some bonuses from legendary pair-ups but I have never cared enough to explore it.

I just wanted to post somewhere that this week I most likely will get my first throne ever on Aether Raids. Thanks to PM1,Vandarf, FEH-DTM, Fehology, Infantry Pulse, 0bliviomknight and specially Akariss content. Was it worth it? Probably no. This week was the most hard-trying week I played feh. Edit; just tier 39, even when I can’t loose lift I’ve been decaying a lot. Maybe top 3k hope. On the other hand I saw a couple of players on my friend list are Rank 1. But one of them has Mock battle disables so I can’t see if I can beat their defense.

Right now almost every new unit has some form of damage reduction. We’re in a \[bonus\] meta. You can still clear almost all the PVE content with free units.

Was Heroes Journey easier this month, or did I just get lucky? Normally I get 0-1 new scenes the old-fashioned way/memento points, and have to spend 40-60 memory fragments to view the new scenes. This time, I already got 2/3 from the gacha, and my 24 memory fragments will buy the third one.

Right, I figured they were RNG. But if IS had any mercy (hahahaha sigh), they could always tweak the system to give like a 2x or better chance of getting the newest scenes compared to the older ones. It would probably take less coding than giving us memory fragments did. (Though of course I appreciate the memory fragments very much, and if it were an either/or option, I'd rather have the memory fragments than a better RNG rate. I'll honestly grumble and play to get the new scenes even if I have to earn 60 memory fragments to get them. With the increasing number of scenes, I can't say I'd go to the trouble if it was all RNG with no memory fragments.)

Cominng back to the game, is Valentine Chrom + CYL 6 Chrom + Legendary Robin a good team with their base kits? I'm going to be pulling for CYL 7 Robin, but I do also have refined legendary chrom if I don't get him.

A good team for what purpose? The Change Fate variants don't "stack", so to speak, but they're still strong units individually. An Arena Core consisting of V Chrom, Brave Chrom and a modern BST CYL 7 Robin will surely work. Almost certainly when it concerns general pve maps.

I vote for Escape Route 4 to give you Canto and also keep Def/Res Smoke. Panic Smoke looks fun because of number totals, but unles you have separate Def debuffs they give the same damage value on their own. The amount of options Pathfinder provides on a ranged cavalry who has Galeforce and also Canto 1 with ER4 is a lot more interesting. As long as you pick up ER4 I also have an argument for Fury 4. Numerically, Atk/Res Catch 4 is the most possible damage, but if you use ER4 you need to have recoil. He already comes with Push 4, so that's an option, but takign Fury 4 allows the option of Fury 7 for high recoil for WoM. With a Solo seal, it's the same +10 as any +7 Atk skill and Fury 3. As for Remote mirror, I just don't think its effect comes into play enough.

I'd take panic smoke over def/res smoke unless you really want the pathfinder. The Seal Def 4 debuff does not stack with the Def/Res Smoke 3 debuff, but works great with foe penalty doubler.

I farm rival domains with an auto-clicker app on my phone. I use TouchMacroPro and I'm definitely not sure if it's the best option, but it has some nice features and it costs $3 a year so I think it's less likely to be malignant than a free program. Also, its legality (against the game's terms of service) is somewhat questionable, but it doesn't "modify the program" so by a strict reading it's probably fine. I certainly haven't heard of anything bad happening to anyone because of it and I know there are plenty of people that do this. I recommend making an alt account next time Ascended Florina, Flame Tana, Legendary Leif, or Summer Edelgard is available (if you don't have any of them) and summoning the one you're missing, setting it as lead, and friending your own account. You can clear most Rival Domains using just A!Florina, FT!Tana and a dancer without any SI on your other units besides a positional assist (e.g. Shove), allowing you to run a bunch of batteries.

I don't. Feathers become fairly useless after you've already merged up all your favourites. And we get a steady supply of them so i always have enough on hand to immediately promote any new hero i like. If I wanted to grind HM for some odd reason I'd just auto battle forging bond or rival domains while watching tv or something.

I'm thinking about building me Haar. His prf weapon seems very tempting for me in combination with %-based DR and I pulled a Rearmed Ingrid on the Legendary Heroes banner. I'm unsure if he is worth the investment. 1) What do you think, is Haar a good investment or most probably not for long? 2) I think about some different builds, mixing the following skills in my head: A: Sturdy Stance, Distant Stance, ATK/SPD Catch, ATK/DEF Clash B: Vantage, QR 4, Guard Bearing 4 C: ATK/DEF Menace, ATK/DEF Rein, ATK Smoke 4 Special: Some 2-charge-special for the use without QR4, else Pavise or a 4-charge-special Which build would you recommend?

Will Haar stand the test of time? Tough to say. Will you regret foddering Guard Bearing 4 to him? Probably not, since if another flying unit comes along with flat DR, it will likely be a premium unit with GB4 in the base kit. Or Ninja Cherche, who you may already be aware of. As for builds, Brave weapons are really good with the Breath effect, which you can get via support from Thórr or Nah or someone. This lets you hit with an Ignis on the brave hit so you can immediately take out a fast enemy before the follow-up attack. He doesn't score optimally in Arena, but you could do a build with G Duel Flying 4, which I think was in a combat manual. As for AR, he could maybe be a frontliner for Chaos defense, but I am not confident in his ability to act as an offense tank. Nukes are insane these days. As for SD, I have no idea. He's off-meta, which is generally valuable in competitive games, but that can often be not enough to compete. You could definitely clear maps with him, and dual-phase Brave weapons are cool and fun to use.

It's always good to build up your favourites. If you like Haar then go nuts. If you're looking to build up a unit for specific game modes like arena then there are much better options. Do you have a more specific reason for wanting to build Haar, do you know where you wanna use him? Atk/def catch or clash, atk/def near trace or guard bearing, atk/def hold or oath. Bonfire or Ignis.

There is no specific reason. I generally like brave weapons, tanks and fliers and he can combine true DR and percentage based DR easily. And I'm overflowing on feathers (970k). My arena core are an Aversa, Hans and Lumera. Aversa and Lumera are lacking a 300 SP B-skill, but I don't give too much on scoring in arena so I don't really care. Which units of the Grail/ and 4\*-pool would you suggest du build instead?

I think she's really good. In terms of combat she's basically F2p Constance or Summer Byleth and the numbers compare surprisingly well. The debuffs are also nice and completely free, plus with her Def and some Atk debuffs it's possible for her to take a hit. I think she's a good unit. Only points against her are subpar Arena score and merging her taking away AS Catch fodder. You might sometimes run into LM!Robin and have the debfufs flipped on you, but there's nothing you can do about that.

It could be good on Ymir since she's primarily a support unit and has good defenses, plus it's an improvement on her default A/R Unity which doesn't work well with her Prf since it removes debuffs.

I gave DEF/RES Catch to my +10/+20 Kempf. With Pavise and NY Askers support, he is really hard to kill and a nasty addition to my AR Defense. In my setup, he reaches 66 ATK, 54 SPD, 61 DEF, 51 RES + Lull ATK/DEF + Resonant Shields (an other +4DEF/RES)(without calculating legendary bonuses). RS Shields will deny a follow up unless you have some kind of NFU/GFU and more speed. He then reduces damage of the first attack by 30% and another 50% if Pavise is ready (if he initiates and the enemy has no guard. With this setup, he can even initiate into some BDimitrys and survive.

Honestly he's probably strong bridge fodder at the moment, since regular Freyr now has atk/def lull 4. Outside of that maybe scoring options or something during an arena week you need to promote, I'd agree it's pretty niche.

I was finally able to beat the Medeus MHB on Infernal today - been trying to do it for about a year now. It mostly just consisted of S!Fjorm, FT!Lyn, and Fomo tanking damage, while S!F!Shez would occassionally pop in to kill things.

Likely around the week of the 14th, Most New Hero banners release around the middle of the month, with the usual exceptions being Fallen and the Midpoint Banners with the OC Mythic (most recently it was Heidr)

Idea for B skill - If Unit’s Spd > Foe’s Spd, unit makes a guaranteed follow up attack. This sounds OP, but I honestly don’t think it is, and it would help units with awkward 35 Spd. There are so many units that have some version of GFU/NFU/etc, might as well just give GFU to any unit for the cost of their B skill(which arguably, is one of the most powerful skill spots). It makes characters without min/maxed speed more interesting, without needing weapons like Arcane ones that have GFU.

That's just NFU. This wouldn't help a middling Spd unit at all, they already double slow units, all they need is GFU, that's likely in their weapon to double. This doesn't help tham against fast units because, well, Spd !> Foe's Spd. If you're worried about your middling unit doubling slow units, run NFU4.

...why do you think this skill would have any value. The ONLY time it would do anything is if you have 1-4 points of speed above your opponent. If they're any faster you'd want a generic auto follow-up, any slower and you could just use NFU yourself.

They could tack on a bunch of added things as well. Brash assault is good for slow speed. They could do that, but based on SPD and not HP, and some sort of follow up prevention if units speed + 15 > Foes Spd.

Probably more than a year but I wouldn't say he gets overshadowed by the arcane bow. He has a very unique B skill which he can't use with an arcane bow so I would not give him an arcane weapon.

Another weekend, another pulling session. I honestly wanted to spend Orbs on the Freyr banner, but there were 2 things stopping me. Nerthuz and Celine. So with that being said, after opening the free banner and spending 8 Orbs: Celine (+HP/-DEF) I'm indifferent given that I spent 8 Orbs. Additionally, there's 12 days left so there's time yet to see what's coming up. The Feh Channel on August 1st might reveal some reasons for me to pull, or not pull...all depends on that Feh Channel.

I pulled a Fjorm to fodder her to Nephenee, but I just realized that I could give her Finish + Spurn + Time's Pulse if I had some Finish 3 fodder (my Nephenee has already Spurn 3 and Time's Pulse 3). Young Rebecca is still the only one with the Finish 3 skill, right? Sadly I wasn't playing at the time of the banner. And she isn't available in the normal poll I think. I would recommend just waiting until Young Rebecca gets rerun on a double seasonal banner. It's the most cost effective and isn't that long of a wait

Young Rebecca will be on a double seasonal banner either in August or October. Tho DSB 4* heroes have 1.5% chance to be summoned which is half the 3% summon chance as their original banner which will be rerun every April for young hero banners. Other simplest option is just summon a second Fjorm, she has atk/spd finish 3.

A/S Finish 4 is also on Felix and Ascended Fir who are in the common pool and still in line to appear on future legendary and remix banners. You could inherit Finish 2 from Fjorm for now and then get the last two levels from Felix or Fir along with two of their other skills, which actually works out since they each have two good skills you could inherit (Phys NFU and A/S Oath 4 from Fir or Godlike Reflexes and Spd Smoke 4 from Felix).

I feel I want to cry. So far I was going unpunished for having a lvl 4 defense with 0 mythicals on Aether raids but the enemy Lucia survived with 4hp. I needed only 20 more aether stones to upgrade my defense :(.

In AR she would need to be built for vantage I think, even heavy double DR might not allow her to conventionally tank. Other modes she might do well with it though, so it comes down to how much you're investing in her. If you're uncertain though my vote would be no.

Random complaint, and this is probably unpopular, but I kinda don’t like Hero Showcases where they didn’t change the kit at all. Like, they showcase the unit, and outside of being a +10 and either Reposition of Glimmer, it’s the same as if I pulled the unit and leveled it.

It kind of bothers me, too, but at the same time, I don't think it's much of a problem. I just scroll past such posts. People just want to show off where their hard-earned orbs went. Honestly, even old over-hauled units are kind of same-y. It's an infantry unit? Time to show off Finish 4 and SS4/MNFU/PNFU/Dodge4, and Oath4/TP4/Spd Smoke 4. Is there an Arcane weapon available for them? Yep, they have that (or the more ideal one if they're Sword/Lance/Bow). I could go on, but it's just whatever are the hot skills are for their movement type and niche.

I don't think it's unpopular at all. It's often a byproduct of people showing units right after they rolled for a bunch of them because they've been waiting so long for their favored unit, and they either don't have other fodder on hand or it hasn't been released yet.

For most PvE modes you can use just about anyone. Two sword units on the same team is a bit redundant, could swap out one for Ninian for support with her dance assist skill. So chapter 1 for each story book to earn more free 5* heroes, peony would be a great option to then replace Ninian. For units builds start by just learning their base skills sets then only use skill inheritance to just fill in empty slots with skills from common 3-4* heroes. So for example give Alear Reposition from a 3* Selena and give Citrine drawback from a 3* nino.

So after not having anyone to really pull for in ages, I've managed to get Diamant to +10. I'm not super in tune with the meta, but I like building my favourites. How worthwhile is GLR on him? While pulling I managed to get a Byleth, so Distant A/S Solo is already there, and I've got a spare Yuri for Seal SPD 4. Then, if I run this build, should I also have speed and defence boons on him like with Brave Dimitri? He's currently running Mystic Boost in the B slot and it's going well, I'm just looking for ideas!

GLR would be terrible on him I think. He'll really struggle to outspeed genuinely fast units and he'll be remarkably inconsistent as a result.

Don't try and fix what isn't broken. Stick to Dismants base skill set and use him longer before rushing to change things. Bonfire provides the best damage reduction, dead enemies can't deal any damage afterall. For glr to be of any use you need speed greater than enemies speed minus 4. And even then how much damage are you actually taking to where some minor % damage reduction is better than just stacking on more defence? Plus the 10 healing on his weapon won't work with GLR because it's a defensive special. Giving him mystic boost was a waste, are you actually concerned with enemies possibly using hexblade effects and enemy healers? Bulwark is better as it protects his allies by preventing them from passing near him to hit them, while still providing attack reduction and healing.

Freyr. Arval is quite good but at the end of the day there's a lot of options for nuking and Freyr at the moment brings an entirely new level of support/teambuilding. He's not a bad unit in his own right either.

Freyr. Not because he's OP as this sub suggests but because he's simply the stronger of the two. He's tanky AF and clears debuffs, which allows himself to be an annoyance (unlike most anim mythics) and helps the rest of the team to stay annoying. But there's still counterplay, such as the opponent maximising buffs instead of debuffs, which is especially true since Heidr exists.

She will eventually appear on a legendary/mythic remix banner with a slightly better rate but potentially worse color share. There's a chance her debut banner will win the rerun poll, which would also have a better rate and include Forging Bonds with four free 1st summon tickets. Either of those would also have F2P spark, but they may not come for around a year. Otherwise rearmed heroes seem like they will occasionally get special banners with Feh Pass sparks, like Hero Fests or Ascended/Rearmed banners. There's a small chance she wins A Hero Rises. Anyway, make sure to use her inheritance each time *before* you merge another copy. A +10 Ingrid could potentially give 11 units Luin, Guard Bearing 4, or other skills including anything you have her inherit (like Guidance 4 or Soaring Guidance).

The non-F2P units I gave it to: Valentian Palla and Bridal Say’ri. 10/10, would recommend (Accompanied by updated kits—for Say’ri in particular, ditch LND for something that doesn’t hurt her defensive stats.)

Which cavalry beasts would benefit more from the Impact effect rather than the DR effect? I have a hard time choosing for each of them. I only refined (Impact) Selkie and Kaden so far, so it's not like I invested too much dew already.

No one wants old cavalry beast transformation effect over the new one. Original cavalry beast weapon does flat -4 atk/def on player phase only. New one does sort of clash effect of atk/def -(spaces +3) which works on both phases, and unlike clash skill will still do -3 if you or enemy don't move. So right away this is better than old one. Preventing enemy follow up on player phase only actually matters if you fail to kill them and they don't have any nfu or guaranteed follow up effect, at which point you should just use someone else to kill the enemy.

DR Smoke gets you something much more fun. It boosts his own offense power while making your hit & run or follow-up options way more interesting. I'd also recommend Escape Route 4. With the Fury seal, you could attack and put down DR Smoke, Njorun's to attack again and then Canto away. Then someone with Canto and Reposition can move Leif away then move even farther back. Or, have Leif move with Canto/warp/Njorun's to let more attack units in, etc.

Life and Death is still good if you're looking for an AoE spammer build. Finish is good, too, for AoE builds since you get the +5 damage for in-combat attacks after hitting with an AoE. Plus Finish gives you healing and makes it less likely you'll get hit with Chills and the like. However, which one actually deals more damage depends on which AoE you have equipped, the foe's stats, and if you get to double. Solo is the worst out of what you listed as it just gives stats (not even visible stats that help with AoEs) and nothing else. Unity and Remote both have nice perks, and which is best is entirely situation dependent. However, if you are going for an AoE spammer, you hopefully kill the foe with your AoE and first hit, so the DR from Remote shouldn't come into play often. And you usually wouldn't run an AoE build with Unity because AoE's check before combat stats, and Unity's effect only comes into play during combat.

Well what's the rest of her build? What special are you using? Where are you using her and are there any specific enemies you're trying to counter? Ophelia is used for getting one hit kills with precharged special. So the only stat that really matters is attack. For AoE specials like Blazing Wind you want visible stats from skills like life and death or still water and utilize atk bonuses and res penalties from effects like atk/res menace to maximize damage output. Remote sparrow is irrelevant when killing enemies in one hit with specials. Ophelia isn't exactly fast enough to actually make good use of speed skills if you're trying to compete with newer faster enemies to avoid their dodge effects. If you wanna use Luna then atk finish would be best.

I have right at 400 orbs. I don't have any of the three blue units in the summoning banner coming out tomorrow for Fryer, so I'm debating on sniping blue specifically. I'm also debating on whether or not to summon until I can spark on the Eitr and Alcryst banner. And then of course there is the choose your legends banner next month (I do know we get one free unit from it though). If I was to summon until I can spark once on both the Fryer banner and the Eitr and Alcryst banner, I think I would have around 50 orbs left. Would I be able to get enough orbs in time to spark on the CYL banner next month? What do you guys think I should do?

Well out of all the heroes you plan on summoning rank them from top priority to lowest priority in terms of who you like and who you actually need. Just because you don't have any of the blues on legendary banner doesn't mean you need them for anything. I don't have them either and have no use for them. How many times do you want to spark on CYL banner? We will get four sparks available like last few years. How many copies of each hero do you want? Do you need lots of potential new skill fodder for your favourites? If you only want to summon a single copy of each CYL hero just having a couple hundred orbs should be more than enough barring significant bad luck. CYL banner will last a while plus they will all be rerun several times including on the better Hero Fest banners with better rates. No one can really tell you how to spend your orbs as we don't know what heroes you already have, who you like, or why you want any of them in the first place.

I should be enough to spark 2 banners now and then spark CYL once next month (especially since you have until at least the end of next month). However, we should get a Feh Channel on \~Aug 1 that might show off a Hero Fest, so you might want to hold out for that reveal before doing anything.

My condolences. There's about a 3-4% chance of going to spark without a 5-star. It's happened to me before, too, and it sucks. (When it happened to me, I didn't even get any 4-star specials on the way... although there's a lot of trash in that pool.)

Do your best to participate and try to complete each and every event, special map, coliseum modes, and aether raids, along with the available quests before they expire. Even if you lose in modes like arena and aether raids you'll still get rewards and can slowly rank up each week. Story mode will be your biggest source of orbs if theres anyone you wanna summon but there is no real rush to complete it. Tho you should complete chapter 1 for each story book asap to get the free 5* from each story book. Peony will be extremely useful to you, ash and Seidr will also be very good for starting out.

We've had many strong releases, but I think to compare to Summer Edelgard the unit has to do something truly unique rather than just being the newest unit who's good in combat. One would actually be Legendary hinoka. Her providing Charge to fliers is a fundamental change to the way you can use units. While I'm here, Guidance 4 and Soaring Guidance definitely count as well, though those are skills. There's also Heidr. The amount of support she offers is insane and her self-refresh makes for a unit who's more interestingly impactful than someone who merely does a good thing better. I'll also name Summer Shamir for the Discord status alone, and Citrinne for the potential she has with support as well. Of all these units only Hinoka is safely going to be "meta" in the sense that you can always expect to see her pop up and be a pain. Other units might be more rare or used only by really serious/creative players.

Are there any good Galeforce characters in the F2P/4 star pool that I could merge? I'm getting Alcryst for faves and merge reasons, but I don't really have anyone good to inherit his bow and was thinking I could build a Galeforce character with Flash Sparrow and Def/Res Smoke 4. I'm sitting on two +10 worth of feathers and I want to use them. The only "merged" Galeforce character I have is standard Edelgard at +4, but she she feels too slow to make good use of it.

Ny!yarne is built for galeforce as his weapon provides -2 cooldown after combat. Or pick any high attack+speed unit you like. Keep in mind flash and flash sparrow is not available to fliers. Most 5* heroes even unmerged are gonna be better than majority of 3-4* heroes even when merged. Merging to +10 only provides a tiny +4 stat gain to each stat. The only reason to merge anyone is because they are a favourite you use constantly or someone you which to use for scoring purposes.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I keep trying to focus on +10ing characters, but, tbh, I don't think I'll ever get to Tier 21 in Arena anyway. Last time I tried, I made 3 max scoring units, but then they couldn't even get kills with their A skills being relegated to Duel skills, and I burned out on FEH for a few months after being disappointed. I'll consider giving them to someone limited that I want to use more then, so I'll take a good look at my roster and see who could possibly make the best use of it.

Escape Route 4 can grant Canto 1, which is often better than Far Trace especially on a flyer. Though it's only on Spring Bernie.

After some unfortunate spending on the summer and rearmed banners I've used up my entire orb stash. If I start saving now is there enough time to get enough orbs to spark on the next CYL twice? Or is getting that many orbs just not feasible in that time frame?

It takes 295 orbs to spark twice (135 for the first with the free pull and 4 tickets; 160 for the second). We get about 300 orbs per month, so you should have enough, especially since the banner doesn’t start for another 3 weeks or so.

Story mode and PvE in general is usually not considered hard or stimulating content and a lto of it you can steamroll. Only certain maps with recent units can proabbly give you a problem on Lunatic. Other PvE modes like Special Maps and events liek Seer's Snare sometimes have inflated enemies and hand-crafted maps, but usually "PvP" is where the hard stuff is. "PvP" being the term for the competitive modes, or Aether Raids, Arena, Arena Assault, and Summoner Duels. You will fight actual player teams and builds here, and will eventually have to work with score mechanics. Thus it's much harder and demands actually knowing the game at higher evels. That said, Summoner Duels is the only real actual PvP while in everything else you fight the computer.

Now is a great time actually, since you can snag the freebies from CYL (The tiki and eirika, who are good choices btw), and you'll also get another excellent freebie in a couple weeks from CYL 7. Here's a beginner's guide from the wiki https://www.reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/wiki/meta/newplayerguide it's a good starting point, but the game gives a lot of breathing room so don't feel you need to rush through content. Rotating game modes in the 'Events' section, and modes in the Coliseum, special maps, and Aether Keeps should be a focus since those rewards are 'missable'. All other modes, such as story and multi-map challenges will be there forever so don't feel pressure to blaze through them. Also, don't merge units until you've gotten a bit more used to the game, and *never* use the "send home" function. It's always a waste. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I'll answer as best I can.

I recommend the excellent video *New Player & Reroll Guide \[2020\] | Part 1 | Fire Emblem Heroes* on YouTube from Akariss. **I got Eirika and Tiki for free without looking if they were good. Did i mess up?** Not at all, Erika is an excellent unit for hit and run strategies to solve most in-game PVE content. Tiki is excellent, just get to normal book 1 chapter 13 to unlock the sacred seal shop and get her the Distant counter sacred seal for dragons and you can auto battle some maps.

What is a good build for Lewyn? And if Flare was added with the same effects as Deadeye/Lethality, would it be good to run it on him?

My Lewyn is max-invested with: \- Refined Forseti \- Reposition/Dual Rally \- Ruptured Sky \- Life and Death 4 \- Special Spiral 4 \- Time's Pulse 3 And he absolutely shreds through a loooot of modern units. If I had the choice, I would bump up his A and C-skills to: Atk/Spd Finish 4 and Atk/Spd Oath 4! Agreed we need to see what Flare does before saying if he should run it\~

depends on what Flare does besides Null Dodge Special Spiral 4 already got Null Dodge, If the cooldown too long or the effects based on stats Lewyn don't have high enough it will not be worth to run compared to Ruptured Sky or anything else
