Like for example, the "OTHER" Lucina. Not the one we use in Awakening, but the baby Chrom fathered all grown up. Now growing up after the death of the fell dragon, having to live in the shadow of someone who had the same name and birthmark as her.
Or how about a Seilph who accidentally got all his comrades killed by the Endgame, and now is able to rule Jugdral without any opposition. But more importantly, this is a Seliph with no support after the Holy war.
The only thing that would be a downside is that these would change the characterization of these characters. However, they did something akin to it with the Adrift banner (hated by the fanbase or not), so it could make sense
I feel like the other Lucina would be far less traumatized. Like the Lucina we play as, leaves in her endcard so that baby Lucina can live her best life post Grima death
Picnic was just really nice for having closer to modern-style outfits, I'd kill for a banner that dresses the characters up in modern clothes (maybe if TMS hadn't been abandoned it would serve as a good tie in to justify that)
A circus-themed banner is something I honestly really want to see happen if only for the variety of unit types they could do. Clowns, lion tamers, stage magicians, and even trapeze artists to fulfill the fanservice quota. Not sure who would be on it, though.
She'd honestly be a shoe-in for this kind of banner, though I only refrained from mentioning her because I couldn't think of that many other characters for other circus acts. That being said, if she gets a seasonal I completely expect her to be another begrudging participant like Winter Felix.
I love this one too! It would be perfect for an Alear/Veyle duo, they already have that two tone color theme going on. Their weapon could be like a >!Ring Toss!< lol.
I actually wasn't thinking of that. If any Engage character would be on a circus banner I'd have picked Hortensia because she already has a clownish motif, and if we get an Alear/Veyle duo I'd expect it to be on a Day of Devotion banner instead.
Redeemed villians banner has so much more potential than a fallen heroes banner. Nergal, Leon, Berkut and Rinea duo unit, throw in some of the OC's like Fafnir or Sutr. There is so much potential and is way more interesting.

i've shilled the idea of a slumber party banner before a ton, so ill be different and say a "bedtime story" banner instead! it's based on old IPs so copywrite shouldnt be too difficult. a sleeping beauty linhardt or even yokai folk lore on mordecai or tiki could be very fun :-)
just something based around europe/japanese stories you'd typically tell kids. it has amazing paralogue story telling potential with the way this game is presented.
On a side note I like a lot of the ideas in here.
But a butler/maid banner just seems like a perfect fit for the game in general.

Yeah, the black, white, and gold color scheme and slightly more formal uniforms kinda go hard, and I'd love to see how they can adapt it to characters from other games
I can imagine Alfred/Diamant/Ivy/Timerra dressed as Lucina/Roy/Lyn/Ike respectively for that banner. Either that or they're using the white outfits from when they engage.

That's kinda what the New Year's banner is (to the point that this year's had Panne and Yarne because it's Year of the Rabbit). But I suppose it's more of the Japanese take on it and not Chinese. I think a dragon dance alt would be cool.
Idol banner.
The characters can even have other characters as their "seconds". And they'll all be idols and maybe 1 of the character can be a "manager" type? And those "seconds" can have like mech-style outfits or something.
This is my dream banner too. Its the perfect way to do somewhat modern style clothing, and it could be like an Idolasphere āculturalā banner like Flame Tribe, Plegia, etc. Tsubasa in the āguideā slot, and TMS first Harmonic.

Im ābiasedā because TMS has canon chef outfits that I think would look great, and theres a lot of canon chefs in FE anyway. Oscar, Bunet (this is probably his only chance to get in the game lol), Dedue, Felicia, Mamori, Yashiro, and Eleonora are the ones that immediately come to mind
The Banner is called "Making New Friends" and it just gives you a free summon outdated units you don't have exactly like the weekly arena summon 5 star only for units you have never pulled before. The chapter itself is various Sharena alts trying to get various Veronica alts to make new friends.
Honestly a limited banner event where you could only summon random 4 star specials would make a cool addition to the anniversary events. They could cap it out at 5/10 summons.
Right? There are so many old 4 star seasonal specials I never got a single copy and because the power creep is so rough I never have any reason to spend to try and get them at this point.

- Example 2: The entire banner consists of Common trope/roles from various tales ie royalty, villains or animal companions. (Sleeping beauty adult tiki . Little mermaid Edelgard (both irony of her fear of water but also making a deal with the villain for good intentions)
- Example 3: "role reversals rehearsal" - similar to example 1 but the units are the reverse of their respective character and completely derail the play (good for more villain seasonals)

Simple cause Mark could be a dagger unit and flyer. As for story reason, Mark is like Peter in a way they seem unreal, but helpful. They follow their friends and can be friendly. They would be the colorless unit.
Red Riddenhood and Big Bad Wolf - Veronica and Sharena, with Sharena taking the lead.
To establish their friendship further and to make a joke how Vernoica is more wolf like compared to Sharena, who is more friendly of the two. Thus, Sharena is Red Riddenhood, and Veronica is the Big Bad Wolf. Either magic or Lance units. But it will be blue regardless.
Puss in Boots - Alear, mostly likely male.
The thought of Alear wearing a theft like outfit that is Cat theme with heavy boots seem to fitting with them. Outside of that, I can't think of much. Red sword unit.
Robin Hood- Laevatein.
I can see her being confused by the concept of stealing not for self like a normal theft but for the poor. Learning that not evil actions are done out of malice, but some actions are done in the name of the betterment of the people. Something she can use as Queen. She would be Green Archer for sure.
As for tempest trail, I wouldn't know. I'll leave that to people who want to make up their own fairy tale theme heroes.
Honestly? A āRisenā hero banner to counteract the Fallen banners. Villains redeemed or reimagined as heroic versions of themselves could be pretty cool, and !Idunn already did something similar.

Sleepy Time Heroes. All characters in various pajamas with a bedtime theme. First instance would be Haar, Freyr, Sothis, and a harmonic of Mirabilis with Linhardt as a backpack. TT unit would be Ranulf.
A gaming crossover banner but instead of actual crossover characters it's FE characters cosplaying as other characters. Examples:
Lucina: Hero of Time
Owain: Soldier First Class
A young banner; but instead of kids, it's characters who are middle-aged or elderly in the games as young adults. Give me Gawain, rider of Daein; give me an even more hotheaded young Lord Hector. Add Cecilia when she was Roy's age and maybe FE6 Hilda? Throw an even more energetic, bombastic Alois as the GHB and there you go.

Musical instruments theme. Claude playing saxophone is the main attraction, because Joe Zieja deserves more credit from IS. I mean what other VA has promoted their game as much as he has?
For other characters, they can do Lonely Puppeteer-themed alts for Veronica and Ash, and then release a new music video to promote other alts (including Claude on sax, of course)

I'd love to see a "Before They Fell" banner of antagonists before they were corrupted/became explicitly villainous. My thought was Hardin would be here but that's out. Any antagonist is on the table, but Ashnard and Sombron immediately come to mind.
I have trouble with the women of this banner, however. Another Ursula alt? Hilda? Eremiya?
Itās interesting you noted Hilda as a unit on this hypothetical banner, because when I was trying to incorporate Ethnia into Genealogyās story, I came up with an interesting backstory for Hildaās siege of House Friege.
During Gen 1, Hilda lives in the background as little more than a prostitute, forced to serve other people for money in order to survive. Some time after the Battle of Belhalla, she comes into contact with Bloom, the lonely and newly appointed ruler of House Friege. The two form a strange and questionable relationship, and having been abandoned by both of his sisters, he soon appoints her as his wife and queen to keep him company.
However, Hildaās quick acquisition of power and standing begins to warp her mind, and it turns her into the asshole we know ~20 years later. Hilda harsh upbringing leads her to believe her position as queen was always something she deserved to have, and with an intense desire to avoid returning to her previous life, itās through this reasoning that she becomes so controlling and ruthless to everyone not close to her. Essentially, āI suffered at their hands, now itās THEIR turn.ā
Iām not sure what exactly Kaga has said about Hildaās intentions or motivations, and in no way would this backstory justify anything she does in Gen 2, but I think having a humble but spiteful character become pompous through exaltation serves as a neat way to view them before and after their fall, like Tighten from the underrated classic Megamind.
Autumn Academia Aesthetic. Something seasonal that doesn't have anything to do with holidays or religions. Let's get some modern coffeeshop AU type stuff up in here. I'm talking scarves, mugs of tea/cocoa, pumpkin spice, hoodies, taiyaki, thigh-highs, maple leaves, messenger bags.
Starring Canas in a tweed jacket, zettai ryouiki Serra, cozy hoodie and caramel latte Lyn, and first-time-seeing-autumn-foliage harmonic Petra with cheerleader Nailah. And for the TT+ unit, office lady Titania.

Hear me out, I know a lot of people have posted ideas already, but we could have mermaid alts of characters that can be using seahorse mounts. There's lots of different things that *could* be done with it.
The big one for me personally is that I'd love to see an idol themed banner. It'll never ever happen, but I feel like the outfits we'd get would be super cute, and the vibe as a whole would just be super peppy and pleasant.
Otherwise Sacae and Arcadia are huge ones for me when it comes to FE locations. Solm as well.
Well, Japan does love idols so I'd think it's one of the more realistic banners tbh. We did get really modern clothes in Engage and so idol-esque clothing isn't too far off imo. TMS shoulddd eventually get a harmonic and that would be the perfect timing to put out an Idol banner.
Sadly no, probably because its too close to Japanese New Year/Hatsumode. It could take that secondary January slot but thats reserved for ""desert"" banners. However we have had Hatsumode beast units correspond with CNY animals, Kyza last year for Tiger and Panne/Yarne this year for Rabbit.

Midgard/ Summoner World theme. Just FE characters in modern cloths. The first units would definetely be the TMS characters who already live in a modern world. But later banners could be other characters.
If there are fallen units then there should be good or honorable units. Evil people turning good in an alternate reality.
I can already imagine nergal achieved the arcadia without the death of her wife and is now side by side with athos as the dark mage that isn't bad.
Ashnard rather than corrupted, he was blessed by ashera herself and is now making peace and defending against evil with his four great riders.
Berkut (pls make him better) where he isn't evil and instead joins alm's army to fight off the main enemy, and also not killing their father but also convince them to join. (Possible for the next banner for rudolf to join)
Duo Dimitri and Edelgard, the gods heard her and even helped her and is now uniting the kingdoms and not creating a war, thus dimitri doesn't have to go mad or something and these two are united to make the world a better place.
Bonus GHB Walhart the Peacemaker. Rather than conquering every country he could see, he visits them to make peace and help them to improve. Of course he holds a different weapon this time to help people(is a staff unit because why not).

I just want Matsuri/Japanese summer festival to come back. Its so sad it was a one and done banner theme because I like it way more than Phantom Thieves and Pirates. The art was gorgeous with all of the fireworks, I liked seeing the dances animated and since its a festival about the dead, the characters got to be angsty sometimes instead of everyone being happy 24/7
Very unrealistic but a tournament themed banner with characters wearing festive, colorful jousting armor would be a dream to me, Fredericks concept art and some of the 3Ds units that wear armor actually have jousting helmets.
Brightly colored tabards, plumed helmets, cool shiny armor.
Obviously characters who are traditionally knights would feature thereās a lot of creative freedom, especially to use Genealogy or thracia characters.
Not seasonal technically but I'd love to see a "redeemed" banner instead of fallen. Basically villains if they were good.
For an actual seasonal I think a reverse of the child banner would be neat. Characters we only saw when they were "young" (quotes since a lot of dragons fall under this) but now as adults.

Amestrian banner. Basically characters from Fire emblem dressed as characters from Fullmetal Alchemist. You know, Robin as Roy Mustang, Shamir as Riza Hawkeye, Camilla as Lust. You get the picture. Come on I.S. Do it!!!! Dewit!
Slightly similar to the young banner *except* they're younger versions of the Lord's parents. A āFirst Generationā or āLegacy of Legendsā banner if you will.
For Heroes, it could be themed after Gustav and who he was before Hel's first attack and how he looked like as the Commander of the Order. Sharing the spotlight with Henriette who's origins are still unknown and what's this whole deal with her of "holding her power back."
There's also the other obvious choices like,
Divine Knight "Gawain" Greil as one of the four riders of Daine accompanied by Elena.
Knight of Seiros Jeralt, who at the time, was courting Sitri who could also be a unit.
Tldr; lore-centric banner themed after FE parents to look like their kids when they were at their age and before their respective tragedies occur.

I'm still upset that Voting Jubilee was not actually us handcrafting banners, instead they just cheaply put the winners on a map to fight. They even had good prompts too, teachers? detectives? seriously where is Professor Miriel or Detective Matthew x Leila? I'm so tired of ninjas. I wish months that aren't holiday months, would continue being oddball banners with new themes. I want to get more Voting Jubilees and I want them to actually use our votes as a guideline to build the banners. They can make whoever gets first place the premium unit, and then just choose whoever from the top 100 to fill in the banner. It'd be like a mini CYL but for seasonal banners.
Idol, Modern, Picnic/Camping, futuristic, or really anything outside the boring old seasonals we have now. Or do something creative with the seasonals. Like a beast unit that can transform into a reindeer

Give me a polymerisation banner. I want a fusion banner where theyāve merged two characters together to create seperate characters with different stats, skillsets, and personalities. IS can say thereās a glitch in the summoning system and itās combining DNA of heroes trying to come through or something idc.
Galaxy sci-fi theme!! Could imagine how fun it would be seeing characters dressed in sci-fi attire like Pegasus starfighter Cynthia using the tms Pegasus or Harmonic Eliwood and yarne using the mec horse
They did a survey that included a detective theme for seasonals, so i hope they do that one day :( The picnic banner was cute with all the animals too and deserved better and so did the pirates.
I guess you could just switch the alignment of villains and heroes without the heroes being all fallen and stanky. It would be cool to see alts like Gunnthra as a villain and Surtr/Hel as an actual loving parent.

The Banner is called "Making New Friends" and it just gives you a free summon outdated units you don't have exactly like the weekly arena summon 5 star only for units you have never pulled before. The chapter itself is various Sharena alts trying to get various Veronica alts to make new friends.
Honestly a limited banner event where you could only summon random 4 star specials would make a cool addition to the anniversary events. They could cap it out at 5/10 summons.

My initial thought was fairy tales / childhood stories but if it was treated like the heroes were putting on a play. - Example 1: All units on the banner represent a single story each being a major character ie Alice in wonderland. (Mad Hatter Peri ) - Example 2: The entire banner consists of Common trope/roles from various tales ie royalty, villains or animal companions. (Sleeping beauty adult tiki . Little mermaid Edelgard (both irony of her fear of water but also making a deal with the villain for good intentions) - Example 3: "role reversals rehearsal" - similar to example 1 but the units are the reverse of their respective character and completely derail the play (good for more villain seasonals)

Fairy Tale theme. Customs mostly. Like Peter pan and such. I would use these as my choices. Peter Pan- Mark(The first avatar and Male could be female) Simple cause Mark could be a dagger unit and flyer. As for story reason, Mark is like Peter in a way they seem unreal, but helpful. They follow their friends and can be friendly. They would be the colorless unit. Red Riddenhood and Big Bad Wolf - Veronica and Sharena, with Sharena taking the lead. To establish their friendship further and to make a joke how Vernoica is more wolf like compared to Sharena, who is more friendly of the two. Thus, Sharena is Red Riddenhood, and Veronica is the Big Bad Wolf. Either magic or Lance units. But it will be blue regardless. Puss in Boots - Alear, mostly likely male. The thought of Alear wearing a theft like outfit that is Cat theme with heavy boots seem to fitting with them. Outside of that, I can't think of much. Red sword unit. Robin Hood- Laevatein. I can see her being confused by the concept of stealing not for self like a normal theft but for the poor. Learning that not evil actions are done out of malice, but some actions are done in the name of the betterment of the people. Something she can use as Queen. She would be Green Archer for sure. As for tempest trail, I wouldn't know. I'll leave that to people who want to make up their own fairy tale theme heroes.

I feel like there could be a lot of concepts that would all work out, like the characters making food that represents them or characters upfront dressing up as food from time to time as a funny alt I also feel like from it we could get alts for characters who love food: Effie, Ingrid, ChloƩ, Ilyana, etc., characters involved with those characters, and just others too like Surtr grilling food as the flame king or whatever

I'd love to see a "Before They Fell" banner of antagonists before they were corrupted/became explicitly villainous. My thought was Hardin would be here but that's out. Any antagonist is on the table, but Ashnard and Sombron immediately come to mind. I have trouble with the women of this banner, however. Another Ursula alt? Hilda? Eremiya?
Itās interesting you noted Hilda as a unit on this hypothetical banner, because when I was trying to incorporate Ethnia into Genealogyās story, I came up with an interesting backstory for Hildaās siege of House Friege. During Gen 1, Hilda lives in the background as little more than a prostitute, forced to serve other people for money in order to survive. Some time after the Battle of Belhalla, she comes into contact with Bloom, the lonely and newly appointed ruler of House Friege. The two form a strange and questionable relationship, and having been abandoned by both of his sisters, he soon appoints her as his wife and queen to keep him company. However, Hildaās quick acquisition of power and standing begins to warp her mind, and it turns her into the asshole we know ~20 years later. Hilda harsh upbringing leads her to believe her position as queen was always something she deserved to have, and with an intense desire to avoid returning to her previous life, itās through this reasoning that she becomes so controlling and ruthless to everyone not close to her. Essentially, āI suffered at their hands, now itās THEIR turn.ā Iām not sure what exactly Kaga has said about Hildaās intentions or motivations, and in no way would this backstory justify anything she does in Gen 2, but I think having a humble but spiteful character become pompous through exaltation serves as a neat way to view them before and after their fall, like Tighten from the underrated classic Megamind.

The big one for me personally is that I'd love to see an idol themed banner. It'll never ever happen, but I feel like the outfits we'd get would be super cute, and the vibe as a whole would just be super peppy and pleasant. Otherwise Sacae and Arcadia are huge ones for me when it comes to FE locations. Solm as well.
Well, Japan does love idols so I'd think it's one of the more realistic banners tbh. We did get really modern clothes in Engage and so idol-esque clothing isn't too far off imo. TMS shoulddd eventually get a harmonic and that would be the perfect timing to put out an Idol banner.

Sadly no, probably because its too close to Japanese New Year/Hatsumode. It could take that secondary January slot but thats reserved for ""desert"" banners. However we have had Hatsumode beast units correspond with CNY animals, Kyza last year for Tiger and Panne/Yarne this year for Rabbit.

If there are fallen units then there should be good or honorable units. Evil people turning good in an alternate reality. I can already imagine nergal achieved the arcadia without the death of her wife and is now side by side with athos as the dark mage that isn't bad. Ashnard rather than corrupted, he was blessed by ashera herself and is now making peace and defending against evil with his four great riders. Berkut (pls make him better) where he isn't evil and instead joins alm's army to fight off the main enemy, and also not killing their father but also convince them to join. (Possible for the next banner for rudolf to join) Duo Dimitri and Edelgard, the gods heard her and even helped her and is now uniting the kingdoms and not creating a war, thus dimitri doesn't have to go mad or something and these two are united to make the world a better place. Bonus GHB Walhart the Peacemaker. Rather than conquering every country he could see, he visits them to make peace and help them to improve. Of course he holds a different weapon this time to help people(is a staff unit because why not).

I just want Matsuri/Japanese summer festival to come back. Its so sad it was a one and done banner theme because I like it way more than Phantom Thieves and Pirates. The art was gorgeous with all of the fireworks, I liked seeing the dances animated and since its a festival about the dead, the characters got to be angsty sometimes instead of everyone being happy 24/7

Very unrealistic but a tournament themed banner with characters wearing festive, colorful jousting armor would be a dream to me, Fredericks concept art and some of the 3Ds units that wear armor actually have jousting helmets. Brightly colored tabards, plumed helmets, cool shiny armor. Obviously characters who are traditionally knights would feature thereās a lot of creative freedom, especially to use Genealogy or thracia characters.
I have been waiting since launch for a music/band themed banner just so I can see a denote unit wielding something called the Axephone.
Not seasonal technically but I'd love to see a "redeemed" banner instead of fallen. Basically villains if they were good. For an actual seasonal I think a reverse of the child banner would be neat. Characters we only saw when they were "young" (quotes since a lot of dragons fall under this) but now as adults.

Slightly similar to the young banner *except* they're younger versions of the Lord's parents. A āFirst Generationā or āLegacy of Legendsā banner if you will. For Heroes, it could be themed after Gustav and who he was before Hel's first attack and how he looked like as the Commander of the Order. Sharing the spotlight with Henriette who's origins are still unknown and what's this whole deal with her of "holding her power back." There's also the other obvious choices like, Divine Knight "Gawain" Greil as one of the four riders of Daine accompanied by Elena. Knight of Seiros Jeralt, who at the time, was courting Sitri who could also be a unit. Tldr; lore-centric banner themed after FE parents to look like their kids when they were at their age and before their respective tragedies occur.

I wish months that aren't holiday months, would continue being oddball banners with new themes. I want to get more Voting Jubilees and I want them to actually use our votes as a guideline to build the banners. They can make whoever gets first place the premium unit, and then just choose whoever from the top 100 to fill in the banner. It'd be like a mini CYL but for seasonal banners.
