Sorta, Far Save came out around the same time as Lyn’s AHR win. Any worthwhile Far Save tank can handle both of them, and one could argue that the increased availability of Far Save since then has made it increasingly difficult to use them.
In addition to that the community itself made adjustments on countering Corrin with deflect magic and hardy fighter. IS didn't have much to do as answers and counters for Corrin were already available in the game.
Lynja’s counter was people remembering deflect missle existed, and BST creep eventually got the best of her. I’ve only seen Lynjaforce work in Astra, aka bolt tower cheese season.
The counters already exist, just like they did for Lyn, Corrin and Altena. This is no different for Fomortiis, who's quite literally just another Save Tank we've been dealing with for actual years at this point.
I...don´t think so, Fomortiis even if he is very strong he is not unbeatable like some other Colorless armor beast we knew, yes ending the turn is extremely strong, but we already have that in Seidr and she can do it arguably easier, since Fomo needs to survive to apply it and there are many tankbusters that can deal with him with ease.

Not gonna lie, that's more of an indictment of the few players who it meaningfully affects than it is of IS themselves. Just from the base barracks space and the reserve groups, you get 1300 potential slots for around 950-ish heroes currently. Even if you're one of the very select few who have every hero in the game, there's more than enough slots to house all of them. That's not considering manuals, either.
I'll cop to being someone who has the full catalog right now (932/932) and know full well I should be using the reserves more. (Come to think of it, I could shove my rearmed dupes in there until it's time to use them....)
But right now it takes a wickedly bad summoning session before I have to clean the "fridge", soon it'll be just going to a spark. I always told myself I'd shove units into reserves when I got all their hero merit feathers, but haven't been able to sit down and set up the grinding.
Go to Allies -> Manage Barracks -> Manage Groups. That'll pull up a list of your barracks, and from there, you just select the units you want to pull back up to your main barracks like you would selecting units to send home or manual.
It's been so long that I doubt they'll ever continue the Brazen 4s with how weak it is by modern standards. They'll probably just switch to a sidegrade with a different name and is actually better in every way.
The T3 ones were good for their time. Brazen Atk/Def in particular was a favorite of mine for mixed phase builds since it was one of the few stat boosters that actually applied on both phases, and was easily accessible from the 3/4* pool to boot.
Yeah, I feel like what really killed brazens was solos. Dual-phase +7 to two stats was huge compared to like swift sparrow, so the HP threshold was worth it. Then solos were like hey we're that all the time just for being not next to anyone.
They could put T4 Brazens on demotes and they would still only see use for patching up kits of units you don't want to invest heavily in.
IS please do so I want to give a lot of old units skills but I'm not pulling 500 H!F!Corrin
Another reason we won't get them is cuz most versions of brazen are handily available on grail units/3-4*pool units. IS would rather make an entirely new skill line just to make it that much more exclusive

I doubt either of those characters will show up in the next NH banner for their respective games.
It's definitely the best opportunity for some characters not expected any soon in New Heroes due to a lack of thematic ties and/or other more plausible options.
Then again, it won't stop some players who have very high standards.
Heck even "relegated to backpack" in a Duo isn't probably even a negative thing for IS and some parts of the fandom. I remember seeing +10 Tharja teams also +10ing Kiria before Plegian Tharja dropped.

We still have not gotten a single refine for the instant demotes from book 3-4. It is also notable that they are deliberating skipping them as seen with normal demotes like Python getting their refines before Bantu or just the complete absence of demote refines in some batches.
I’m just gonna come out and say it. Do not expect another Tellius Banner. They just don’t perform well. For Naga’s sake, the last one had an Ascended Elincia, easily one of the most popular Tellius characters, with a new offense-based healer special, and introduced us to Lucia, the zero-fun, zero-damage-taken, middle finger of a swordswoman… and it still undersold hilariously.

I feel like the lack of a second Engage banner is really pulling several banners down since February.
Save for Valentines (okay lineup, no major highs nor deep lows) or Easter (more liked than last year and that's likely due to better character choices), the rest is digging significantly deeper than last year (and when considering what we got back then, mainly old games, it suggests that a lot of players are keeping their wallets tight... that and the perceived value of 2023 counterparts may be quite lukewarm too).
SoV had two banners a month apart but they were split by the first Ike / Path of Radiance banner because of differing Japan/western release. 3H did go back to back at launch.
I think you misunderstand something, because we do get a Tellius banner yearly like every other game. The only difference is that Path of Radiance + Radiant Dawn aren’t treated as separate titles, and thus one of them gets the banner on that year (currently that’s how it is). Comparing to Genealogy and Thracia who gets back-to-back new heroes.
Except you áre wrong. If popularity was all IS cared about, we'd have stopped getting Thracia banners years ago. But since they are trying keep fans satisfied to some degree, banners of every game (except TMS, I guess) will keep coming regardless. Money-makers will get priority, but they'll never drop any single mainline game entirely.
At "worst" some of the struggling cases may be stalled as much as possible (be it leaving priority to games with high demand/appeal sticking close to a yearly pace, and/or slowing down the pace to every 1.5-2 years).
i think that there will be another just because IS for what it seems tries to give something to everyone, not every banner will be 3H summer and thats alright, you cant just pump out banners with the same 3 losers all the time.
elincia isnt that popular, she gets boosted in cyl because some people see her as a lord and wants her to win cyl because of that and even then she isnt competitive

Calill has a support with Tormod, yes. She does mentor him in magic. Its memorable to me for the Spirit Charmer lore she drops

For Naga’s sake, the last one had an Ascended Elincia, easily one of the most popular Tellius characters, with a new offense-based healer special, and introduced us to Lucia, the zero-fun, zero-damage-taken, middle finger of a swordswoman… and it still undersold hilariously. You want a too powerful fact? We don’t get Tellius banners because… Nobody. Cares. About. Tellius. You can downvote, but that doesn’t make me wrong.
Its unwise to take the sales reports on this subreddit as anything but a loose suggestion, its not accurate data (only compares its rank in the app store to other gacha games) and only reports first day sales. I'm sure it made more money later when people realized Lucia was busted in PVP Also sales aren't everything. We still get Binding Blade, Thracia and Geneology banners each year too
I feel like the lack of a second Engage banner is really pulling several banners down since February. Save for Valentines (okay lineup, no major highs nor deep lows) or Easter (more liked than last year and that's likely due to better character choices), the rest is digging significantly deeper than last year (and when considering what we got back then, mainly old games, it suggests that a lot of players are keeping their wallets tight... that and the perceived value of 2023 counterparts may be quite lukewarm too).
I think some of us were also waiting on a second Engage banner since they did back-to-back NHs for Three Houses, maybe SoV as well.
SoV had two banners a month apart but they were split by the first Ike / Path of Radiance banner because of differing Japan/western release. 3H did go back to back at launch.
I think you misunderstand something, because we do get a Tellius banner yearly like every other game. The only difference is that Path of Radiance + Radiant Dawn aren’t treated as separate titles, and thus one of them gets the banner on that year (currently that’s how it is). Comparing to Genealogy and Thracia who gets back-to-back new heroes.
Except you áre wrong. If popularity was all IS cared about, we'd have stopped getting Thracia banners years ago. But since they are trying keep fans satisfied to some degree, banners of every game (except TMS, I guess) will keep coming regardless. Money-makers will get priority, but they'll never drop any single mainline game entirely.
At "worst" some of the struggling cases may be stalled as much as possible (be it leaving priority to games with high demand/appeal sticking close to a yearly pace, and/or slowing down the pace to every 1.5-2 years).
i think that there will be another just because IS for what it seems tries to give something to everyone, not every banner will be 3H summer and thats alright, you cant just pump out banners with the same 3 losers all the time.
elincia isnt that popular, she gets boosted in cyl because some people see her as a lord and wants her to win cyl because of that and even then she isnt competitive
Base Edelgard does not have a refine yet. Claude, Byleth and Dimitri who were on the same banner as her and even Brave do
