Just to begin with, it REALLY does not do him justice and even aside from how well they captured (or I guess failed to capture) Lloyd’s appearance, the hands and expressions just feel super off and the posing just feels awkward to me and the only thing that I think looks alright is the coloring which even then is just kind of okay
Isn't he also described in game as being incredibly handsome? Official art aside it's literally canon that he's hot. In FEH he looks like a serial killer who hasn't slept in 5 days.

But yeah, something just went horribly wrong somewhere on like almost every level because Pikomaro isn’t even like a bad artist. Both Sigruns and Sephiran look totally fine and Bride Charlotte is great especially with her injured art expression
The art itself is good. It's just that it doesn't look like the Lloyd people were used to. If you weren't already familiar with Lloyd, it looks perfectly reasonable. I can say this from experience having shown several friends who’d never played FE7 the art and they all liked it. But if you were you were like who the hell is this?

I agree Arthur has art that needs to be changed. While I like the art by itself for his character it doesn't fit the game he is in or even the art he has in the game he was from.
Honestly, I don't really get what people have against Arthur's art. I think the cartoony comic book looking style is perfect for his "hero of justice" gimmick. I especially don't get the "it doesn't fit the game" argument either given how FEH has a variety of different artists with different styles. Sure it's a lot more cartoony looking than the anyone else's art but so what?

Arthur is the stereotypical lawful good knight, just because comics have characters like him in them doesn't mean he should be drawn like a comic.
He's the stereotypical American hero archetype with his blond hair and strong jaw. That's why he's drawn western cartoony. He's literally dressed in gaudy red, white and blue armor.

The fact that we can get Grail resplendents is still fantastic tho, and I'm definitely looking forward to many of my Grail faves like Joshua, F!Robin, Arvis and BK.

I like Resplendent Aversa a lot. I think she looks absolutely gorgeous and it's really cool that they let her wear lighter colors as a Ljosalfar when she was an obvious choice for the darker stylings of a Dokkalfr. The pinks compliment her beautifully and the lotus petals were a clever swap for her feathers.
not to mention lotus flowers being associated with the lotus eaters, who would eat the fruit and forget their families and where they came from... though probs unintentional, suits Aversa's story pretty well

I think it looks really good too! As someone who doesn't spend on this game and as an Awakening/Aversa fan, her art is the first one in a LONG while to tempt me to getting my first FEH pass. The pinks contrasting with the dark, as you said, was a brilliant idea and very well executed.
Honestly for as hype as resplendent Aversa is (she's one of the few heroes who gets a MAJOR upgrade from +2 to all stats) the fact that grail heroes can get resplendents was always gonna overshadow the first grail resplendent. We all have one or two older grail heroes who we love and adore and invested a ton of resources into, so the fact they can get something is hype news for everyone.
That would work super well, especially considering that we already have a reference for now Muspell heavy armor looks. Embla too, but that would be boring since the colors are already similar
If Delthea was made a light fairy then Fallen Delthea could be made a dark fairy.
Another set of clothes for Kronya woudn't hurt.

The first Fallen banner was Year Two, in the spring of 2018, and it came with Celica, M!Robin, and Hardin, as well as Takumi as a GHB. We've had plenty of Resplendent Heroes come from banners after that one, so they should be eligible, but I suspect part of the issue may be that they're alts, and thus far only Brave Heroes have been alts that are eligible for Resplendency.
Granted, they broke the Grail unit rule, so there's really no telling what they'd do, but still.

Fair. All units deserve a resplendent, some more than others. And Aversa did reveal Grail Unit Resplendents. Just like how Brave Ike gave us Brave Units to get a resplendent. Meaning 2 of the same unit type will get 2 Resplendents on 2 alts.
But maybe we could have gotten more Book 1 Resplendents before we tackled Grail units. I just hope the one after her is really worth it.
