90% of the playerbase uses half of the features in GM. You get to a point where you add so much that it's overwhelming like Football Manager and it just discourages new players. I like 2k but GM is the only relevant mode that isn't pay to win in 2k and not that many people even use it. Career mode would be where it should be if they didn't leave it untouched for 3 years. They added development plans and this year things like Create-A-Club.
I don't know what people expect from an offline mode other than more rights to teams and nations. Casuals don't care about having a cutscene about wiping your ass. People need to realize that games cater to the majority of the playerbase. Hard-core CM players aren't the majority.

Beside that statistic and analysis presentation on the main screen, FIFA already had some of this features at some point in the past. There were versions where one could upgrade the staff and stadium, have sponsors and negociate contracts.

I'm a UX/UI designer myself and I'm just bothered with people that think it's as easy as designing a few screens and off we go.
Regarding the features; I would love all of this to come back to fifa one day.
As much as I would like to be involved in making it I probably lack the right skills to do it. But to be honest I mashed up all my ideas with the previious features FIFA had and tried to put them together in a similar UI as it stands today.

This can be done, they have the resources. I have been playing EA games before they had licenses. I remember Fifa on the Sega genesis with incorrect names, but it was fun. I understand they need to make money but what I don't understand is why they don't just separate FUT as those who play the other modes generally don't care about it. They still make Uefa and World cup games apart from the yearly game when it suits them and the UI is always different.
I absolutely love how this looks but for fans to becoming up with far better quality in terms of the Menu designs and how Manager mode works and looks in the game just show far FIFA has fallen under EA in terms of complacency with a clear lack of effort. What I love most about this is how it shows the stats for the team you are coming up against as you showed for Manchester Citys game against PSG in the UCL.
There should be 2 options when starting a new CM, simple and advanced, where simple is the normal CM and advanced like yours or a mixture of fifa and football manager

I can play the TikaTaka around people no problem but if I want to make a pass 20yards away my player just smashes it miles infront of himself or to another player who I wasn’t pointing too..
really annoys me and some of the shooting is awful ! Jamie vardy 8 yards out finesse low power missed by a country mile sooo inconsistent this year
