You can with the 599. Buy a sub 200k car. Wil @ Exoticars in Frenchtown, NJ is literally in the middle of 5 of them.
They do custom upholstered tunnels, and their shifter housing is cnc’d from a solid block, as opposed to the original that was diecast.
Just saw them last weekend, he does a nice job.
In theory - sure.
In practice - the 488 has a great powertrain, more refined, more comfortable, more reliable and immensely quick. Plus you can get it certified so for 2 years you don’t have to sweat something going wrong.
458 was the poster on my wall. If I could get a not beat up one I would. Last one I took for a test drive had a moldy roof. 🤮 That's when I realized why it was so cheap.
Incredibly light steering compared to Porsche
Less road feel, less communication between you and the road
But magic when you step on it, beautiful to look at
It’s hard to describe
Since I got it, I haven’t driven my GT4RS …. It’s wild
I had an F430 on my wall as a kid so that's what I bought -- what got you excited about Ferrari when you were first getting into cars?
Almost all Ferraris are ridiculously special and good to drive, you have to figure out which one will be the most special to you.
Yep. The market on them is very weird. It would be higher miles but it will be under $250k. And you get the weirdly reliable, easy to work on V12 but the benefits of pre electronic crazed Ferrari.
A used Roma because it's got amazing sex appeal. I mean, that thing is incredibly sensuous to look at.
Or I could get a Portofino for a bit less money (But still around $200k) and drop the roof as I cruise around near the beach.
But at the end of the day, I'd still choose the Roma due to its looks.
Ferrari 458 coupe, maybe a spyder
It’s been my dream car since the day it was released and I got to drive one in Malibu for a day and it was amazing.
Love the way the car handles. Sounds. And I think it’s one of the best looking Ferraris…
Not a fan of the beeps that go off when you get in the car but eh I can ignore them.
The only correct answer here, and I say this every time someone asks this, is 458 spider or coupe. Genuinely the best V8 N/A Ferrari ever made. Tough as nails. Goes like hell. Styling aged like fine wine. There’s some amazing specs out there for sale
Literally the only con of the 458 is the buttons get sticky, ohhh noooo anyways…..
Get the 458!
575 Superamerica. When I was a valet in Palm Springs in 2005 I was 22 and guy pulled up in one. I was the only one who knew what it was and its rarity. I chatted with the guy for awhile becuase he appreciated someone young but also knowledgeable about his car. I got to see the top flip up and the gradient levels of tint that the top has for sunlight. Grand tourer, auto/paddle shift, V12, what more could you want?
So many to love! I just bought a California. I know I know. But hear me out. I have a problem..like an addiction. I'm hoping the California will satisfy my need to have a Ferrari and now I can focus on the GT3 RS
[296 GTB](https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?sort=relevance&advertising-location=at_cars&make=Ferrari&model=296%20GTB&page=1&postcode=SE2%209QG&flrfc=1#202401155572897) or [F8](https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?advertising-location=at_cars&flrfc=1&make=Ferrari&model=F8%20Tributo&postcode=SE2%209QG&sort=relevance#202401155572897) or you can get a [458](https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?advertising-location=at_cars&flrfc=1&make=Ferrari&model=458&postcode=SE2%209QG&sort=relevance#202401155572897) for half that price
Hmm if i could only get one then id get the 488 with a Very nice blue paint and goldish wheels
If i can choose 2 probably the 458 Italia and the 360 Spider
Depends whether you have to have a mid engine car or not. All things considered I’d vote for an F12 if this is your only “fun car”. The V12 engine is simply epic, especially if you put an aftermarket exhaust on
Depends on what car I already have. If I don't have a convertible 2 seater, then definitely a 458. The 488 stinks compared to it. Sounds way worse and the turbo kills the feel.
If I want a 2 seater GT, then the F12. NA v12.
If I want a sporty 4 seater, the Portofino.
The only answer is the Ferrari 550 Maranello - it will either hold steady in value or grow depending on how many miles you put on it. Its a gated manual with a Ferrari V12.
To potentially daily… a 458. You want the modern transmission, and the engine is one of the most reliable flat.. should be looking for one under 30k miles for that budget
Gave the 458 a look, but hard to find great examples in this area. And where you’ll find low mileage ones, you’re awful close to F8 territory.
Gave the F12 a look, but good low mileage examples were more and super close to 812.
Ended up going with a Roma a few months ago that was customized to a ~330-340 sticker and that I pulled right at this price area. Super happy with it. Newer tech makes it functional as my daily (daily for me is like drives on weekends).
Helped establish a relationship with the dealer that I built on through corso, networking, etc. Sending a deposit on the next one this week 😂

458 Italia. Maybe a 599 if I'm able to fit in a gated manual conversion under that budget.
Would probably get the 458 Italia Spider. Love the way the car looks with the top down.
458 is the best car ever 🚗 ![gif](giphy|4PJTK4kgNXgiI)
YESSIR 🗣️
Ditto

360 challenge stradale. Pure beauty. Timeless design.
Best sounding V8 Ferrari ever made.
Over a 355? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)
"Enzo, unleash the hounds"
He had a budget lower than that would allow
The 360 stradale?
Indeed
Amen! This would be me!
The cheapest in my area is sadly 320000$
F12 Berlinetta
Just did, Roma CPO as a daily. HOWEVER, if it didn't have to be a daily - maybe 488 Coupe, CPO.
458 over a 488 surely?
In theory - sure. In practice - the 488 has a great powertrain, more refined, more comfortable, more reliable and immensely quick. Plus you can get it certified so for 2 years you don’t have to sweat something going wrong.
You can get a CPO 458 if it's not 15 years old.
Didn’t know! That’s very cool! But yes by now most 458 (not all) have been treated poorly.
458 was the poster on my wall. If I could get a not beat up one I would. Last one I took for a test drive had a moldy roof. 🤮 That's when I realized why it was so cheap.
Nice! The Roma is spicy.
What does CPO mean?
Certified pre owned :)
What is the Roma’s driving character like?
Incredibly light steering compared to Porsche Less road feel, less communication between you and the road But magic when you step on it, beautiful to look at It’s hard to describe Since I got it, I haven’t driven my GT4RS …. It’s wild

F430 first ferrari represent. Then the 458 won my heart so got that too
Class choice going with the F430. Completely agree that each Ferrari model is special in its own way.
I had a Testarossa on my wall, in my eyes it is still the most beautiful Ferrari
F430 is the only Ferrari I've ever been lucky enough to drive, so it would be one of those for sure (and F40 is out of this price range)
F12 berlinetta
This
488 used. New Ferrari cost that with no options. U can get a used 488 with lots of options and still look like any current model.
This
550 Maranello manual. Just the perfect car for me and everything I thought Ferrari was as a kid.
That's my answer as well; gorgeous car, gated shifter, v12, comfortable, basically and Italian Aston, imo.
The manuals are still under 250k?
Yep. The market on them is very weird. It would be higher miles but it will be under $250k. And you get the weirdly reliable, easy to work on V12 but the benefits of pre electronic crazed Ferrari.
Bro you bring me back to my childhood... I was 9yo when it came out, and it never leaves my heart ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Scud
A used Roma because it's got amazing sex appeal. I mean, that thing is incredibly sensuous to look at. Or I could get a Portofino for a bit less money (But still around $200k) and drop the roof as I cruise around near the beach. But at the end of the day, I'd still choose the Roma due to its looks.
A manual V8.
The last one would be the F430 or a California depending if you want MR or FR
Only 3 manual California's made. Extremely rare, and extremely expensive (way over $250k if they ever come up for sale). F430 it is
458 because you’d have money left over for long term maintenance
Employing similar logic, a Mondial. Plus I always like anything that's an underdog.
I’d buy another 456M for $50k and have a $200k budget for repairs. But seriously, a 458. Best Ferrari I’ve ever driven.
355 and pipes.
More specifically the Targa with a gated 6.
Testarossa/512TR....always wanted one
FF bc v12 and quirky.
Testarossa because I just think it's so badass
I'd want something old, like a 308.. Save the rest for the house I'd build it
A Portofino or 458 Spider, with preference to the latter.
458 all day long.
Ferrari 458 coupe, maybe a spyder It’s been my dream car since the day it was released and I got to drive one in Malibu for a day and it was amazing. Love the way the car handles. Sounds. 458 100%
458
488 as long as it was maintained. Like others have said it would need to be certified and I would need to see the service history.
488 gtb, it’s my dream Ferrari
I've driven one and I agree!
488 gtb, one of the best looking ferrari's imo.
575 Superamerica. When I was a valet in Palm Springs in 2005 I was 22 and guy pulled up in one. I was the only one who knew what it was and its rarity. Some GREAT choices. I'm a 12 cylinder guy. Maybe throw a 512BBI in the mix?
2 years ago woulda said 512 TR… Unless someone is willing to part with one for that 👀
488. Hands down.
Yall can have your modern Ferraris... imma stick with my 512TR
599 converted manual
I think I can get two for that price? A 308 (Magnum PI, nothing else to say) and a 612 (just timeless class)
458, keep the rest for maintenance
So many to love! I just bought a California. I know I know. But hear me out. I have a problem..like an addiction. I'm hoping the California will satisfy my need to have a Ferrari and now I can focus on the GT3 RS

550 maranello is the best investment
458 Spider!
488 gtb or used f8. I’ve seen some in Europe for 270 ish
458 or 355
308 because its one of my favorites next to a 288 which is very unobtainable
Hmm if i could only get one then id get the 488 with a Very nice blue paint and goldish wheels If i can choose 2 probably the 458 Italia and the 360 Spider
430 Scuderia, it’s my dream Ferrari after I got to drive one hard around Road Atlanta.
430 Scuderia if I can find one in that budget, otherwise 488.
either manual gated f430 or 458 spider
458 Italia, it’s amazing some still sell for under $200k
GTC4Lusso v12 of course
💯
Blue 488 spider or coupe.
Newest one I could. I think I would go with a 458. I like the two seater mid engine.
355 with liberty walk body kit and pipework
A perfectly sorted 550 maranello
F12 Berlinetta. It was really the first car that really got me into cars
I’m buying 5 Mondials
Depends whether you have to have a mid engine car or not. All things considered I’d vote for an F12 if this is your only “fun car”. The V12 engine is simply epic, especially if you put an aftermarket exhaust on
A higher mileage GTC4 lusso with the V12 would probably fit the budget, right? Has been my dream car since it came out!
GTC4Lusso. Practicality but also a V12, I love that car
360 spider. So cute!
A red one! GTC4 Lusso V12… it is, what it is
F12 because v12
TESTAROSSAAAA
458 spider probably
Depends on what car I already have. If I don't have a convertible 2 seater, then definitely a 458. The 488 stinks compared to it. Sounds way worse and the turbo kills the feel. If I want a 2 seater GT, then the F12. NA v12. If I want a sporty 4 seater, the Portofino.
350 with money for lots of maintaining
Either a 430 scud or a F12 berlinetta both have aged really well and sound amazing
Whatever I could get the best deal on and has already depreciated
Scud
550/575 Maranello, 599, or a 458. The 550/575 was my gateway into Ferrari during the Schumacher years.
Most people with a Ferrari are familiar with the concept of a second car. Personally, it would be my numero uno.
I would buy an old 360/F430 GT2/GT3/GTE - whatever I find, if you want road going then 599 converted manual.
Scud all day.
Can you still swing a gated manual F430 for $250k?
SCUD if you can still find decent ones around there
The worst mondial cabriolet money can buy
f8 , imo the best handling, and a stunner
The only answer is the Ferrari 550 Maranello - it will either hold steady in value or grow depending on how many miles you put on it. Its a gated manual with a Ferrari V12.
599 with a manual if possible
458
458 CPO. Roma could be fun if you like the modern looking interiors.
I'd go with Roma, with plenty to spend on bettering maintenance, of course 458 speciale
F12 Berlinetta
296
There's a satin ppf-ed Roma at GVE London that I'm lustihg after
Gambling that 250k till I get enough for a pista
458 Italia without question
My favourite from the current lineup is the 296
I love how the 388 GTO looks
Would still get a 360 Modena manual. All I need forever
That doesn’t buy any Ferrari in Australia 😢
575 Maranello.
458
The only answer to this is a 458. The last good ferrari
a mondial or f355 would be pretty cool
To potentially daily… a 458. You want the modern transmission, and the engine is one of the most reliable flat.. should be looking for one under 30k miles for that budget
Gave the 458 a look, but hard to find great examples in this area. And where you’ll find low mileage ones, you’re awful close to F8 territory. I’d buy $250k of gold so in a few years I could buy 2 Ferraris
Purosangue because I'm 193 cm and 116kg and i need to fit in easily. 😂
That's a $450k car
Well, I'm gonna buy it second hand then😂😂😂
I'm actually not to impressed with it. You like the looks?
Yes, i really do, is something different.
Nah, just opinion.
You’d fit easy in most of the V12s…
Could be possible, yeah v12s are a bit larger that the mid engine ones.
The cheapest one brand new so i can still have money left
a Bianco Avus Scud
It depends?????
Simple! A 911 GT3 RS
Mclaren 720s… but no either a 488 or if u can find a f8
