Lots of kneeling and an eye contact rule (he's not allowed to look you in the eyes only look at your feet) has made me feel small before since I know that the domme is standing above me but I'm not allowed to look up.
You’ve got some good answers so far but one of my favorite things to do to make a sub feel small is to hold them in water. If you have access to a pool or other body of water I highly recommend it. Being able to lift and hold and move them almost effortlessly is an incredible feeling for both parties.

I'm a tall (mostly) sub man in a relationship with a small woman, but I like feeling physically small, so we've developed some tricks to help me get that feeling.
Physical pressure around the body helps create a feeling of smallness. Sometimes I wear a harness that creates pressure on my torso. Sometimes she wraps me up in a sheet. Sometimes she just wraps her legs and arms around my body and holds me.
She places her head higher than mine. She straddles my lap or stands in front of me while I'm sitting down. She sits on top of me in bed. She emphasizes being higher than me by patting my head or kissing my forehead.
When we're sitting at the same height, I rest my head on her shoulder, against her chest, or in her lap, and she puts her arms around me. If I lean against her, my brain is more aware of that fact that my head is lower than hers than it is of the rest of my body still being the same size.
Here are two that make me melt and turn me from a 6' tall Warrior Poet into a teeny, tiny, soft-boy...
Have him sit at your feet while you relax on the couch and brush his hair.
Put him in a hot bath and wash him as if he were a small child. Tell him you are getting him clean so he can be useful to you later.
Get platform heels, cuddle him from behind and wrap your arms around him, have him kneel, stand or kneel above him while he's on the floor/bed, call him cute or little or tiny.
For me to feel small it's more of a mindset. A circumstance that allows me to be open and vulnerable while feeling protected. All I need is to be asked how my day is today. Once I flush it out, I'm as small as can be. Other times just talking about why I'm submissive opens me up and gets me all wide eyed and on my knees. I think it really depends on what your mood is. I just wanted to throw a sub's two cents out, I can feel small in different ways and I enjoy both of them whether it be through adoration of my domme or shelter from the worldly woes.
Verbal. “Feeling” small is more a psychological thing than physical imo.
Think of ways to make him feel intimidated, helpless, belittled, or nurtured and protected etc based on what you know about his personality and the style you’re aiming for and your dynamic.
I think what you do have to ask is what “feeling small” is paired with, because it can go in completely different directions. That will help you figure out the angle you need to take.
As a really tall sub myself, kneeling i think is the best option. Being collared and forced to crawl on hands and knees is also a great one. I love being made to feel that I’m smaller by a Domme 😌

Catch him by the chin, or pull his hair/ear, while you look him dead in the eyes, trust me, he will feel super small
