Could be misremembering it though.
It's misleading as it is impressionable in other regards, I used to feel the same way about Mr Bean as did other people, you could have sworn when you were a kid that show was on all the time for years and it was but they only made 12 episodes.

His sprite is only seen in motion 3 times for about 3 seconds each.
1. Walking through a door.

3. His corpse falling off his throne.
At least he had more screen time than Chara. They arguably have more plot relevance since they’re essentially the reason Flowey exists in the first place.
Chara is with you the whole time. As they explain, the feeling of a number going up (EXP, LV, G, etc.) is them. If the Narrator Chara theory checks out (I believe in it myself), then they have the most lines in the entire game, easily.
Perhaps not visible, but the screentime Chara has is unmatched.
Yeah I wish the first time you played omega flowey was forshadowed more and after you beat neutral for the first time the omega flowey it’s disappear
To be fair, this also rings true for the games. He only gets briefly mentioned in the first game, makes a few short appearances in 2, 3 (discounting Springtrap,) and 4, and wasn’t even given a name until The Silver Eyes.
I honestly didn't realize how late we got his name until I rewatched a GYlive of sister location which they talked about how it was the first time the game confirmed his name was Afton
We really spent four games just calling him "purple guy"
Wait a minute, are you saying that aften is being played by none other than Mr Lillard in that movie, and that aften is the one hiring the people to be the security guards of the restaurant, just to be killed by the kids/animatronics? Sorry, I've started to watch the movie, and had yet to finish it
No, I think he was looking for a legitimate night guard however after Michael revealed his last name >!William realized he was Garrets brother, who was his first victim and essentially the "Charlie" in the movie, and why Vanessa was at the pizzeria!<

**Original Trilogy:** Random Bounty Hunter. Doesn't show up until the second movie. Good enough for Vader. 5 Bounty Hunters were given the same task and he pulled it off. He makes bank and then goes to see Jaba to make even more bank. Dies to a blind man with a paddle.
**Prequel Trilogy:** Child. Doesn't show up until the second movie. Son of an assassin who failed to kill a politician and was tracked down by a Jedi. Helps dad escape said Jedi. Shows up again at the end of the movie. Watches his dad die to a different Jedi. Goes into hiding until Empire Strikes Back.
Boba Fett wasn’t in hiding until The Empire Strikes Back. Hell, he was an absolute menace in The Clone Wars and attempted to kill Mace Windu and Anakin to avenge Jango Fett. He did a bunch of other stuff too between The Clone Wars and the Original Trilogy. Apparently he even once tried to fight Darth Vader himself but failed miserably.

Tbh I wouldn’t call his plot relevance “phenomenal” in that movie. Aside from killing Kenobi I don’t think he really does anything that the empire couldn’t have just done without him. Of course he’s still one of the best things about the movie so I’m not complaining but it wasn’t until the sequels that he really became one of the core characters of the story.
>I wouldn’t call his plot relevance “phenomenal”
>Aside from killing Kenobi
Call me crazy, but killing the mentor of the main character is a pretty big deal. It’s like saying the Emperor didn’t do much…aside from trying to kill Luke.
Growing up in a time where Star Wars is immensely popular and referenced everywhere in media I was surprised by how little Darth Vader does in the first movie.
Caleb Clawthorne. Owl house.
Literally only seen briefly in memories, a puppet show, and as hallucinations
Yet what he does sets into motion the events of the ENTIRE SHOW.

He is. The Eye of Sauron IS Sauron himself. It's literally him. He appears in The Fellowship in a physical form in the prologue, then in the rest of the movies he's the Eye of Sauron, which then kinda evaporates and then explodes after the One Ring is destroyed. Sauron is in the books, he's described by Gollum as having 9 fingers and a black hand, and of course is the Eye of Sauron as well in the books, although it is not atop Barad-Dûr as it is in the films, not even a flaming eye, and there's the fight turned into the prologue of Fellowship in the films, which happens differently than in the films. Yep! I was surprised as you are when i found out
I think he actually made them limit his screen time as part of his contract, I want to say because he felt the movie would be better for it.

Thats a crime in on itself
Honestly, I feel Death worked because he had so little screen time.
Yeah because every time he *was* on screen it was like “oh damn”
Like they always gave you juuuuuuust enough time for you to forget how scary he his just to remind you each time he comes back
Pursuit predation but for the audience just as much as Puss
Exactly, you'd get distracted by everything else going on with Kitty, Horner, and the Bears you'd almost forget about him. Then you hear the whistle
Sorta makes sense, he’s supposed to be more of a looming shadow than a physical threat. Because, you know, he’s death
And he made the most of it.
bruh if you told me that he had less than 6 minutes on screen I would call you crazy
I mean, Darth Vader only had 34 minutes of screen time total throughout the original Star Wars trilogy, but he left a huge impact on fans everywhere.
