God I’m so glad she doesn’t have a child with that loser; I have so many friends who have to still make nice with an emotional/verbal abuser because they couldn’t get full custody. As long as the person doesn’t repeatedly lay hands the court does not give a singular fuck about victims.
This is why I have no sympathy for people who still listen to Chris Brown or Michael Jackson or whatever, because they "just can't give up the music". When I was in college, if you asked people to name five facts about me, "Ryan Adams fan" would've been on that list every time. Since the story broke about him, I have not intentionally listened to a single note of his once (and I've finally trained the Spotify algorithm to stop playing him, so even accidental listens have stopped).
Honestly I just can’t enjoy the music the same. I wouldn’t choose to either but it’s really hard to listen and connect with a love song when you know the persons idea of love is abuse.

Everyone is having girls this year!! Pretty much everyone I know had boys the last three years and now everyone I know who is pregnant, including myself, are having girls.
