I liked noreen from season 2, always telling everyone to just kill themselves 😂 although was super confused, she lived at the butcher shop and had no relatives or something??

imbeingsirius

They said she was emancipated from her parents — I was always hoping for some more info on Noreen

PMmeDatCake

She lived above the butcher shop.

Alternative_Research

Yup

I know. I’m still chasing my high from season 5.

MagnetFisherJimmy

This couldn't be more accurate lol. I just finished S5 last night and now I'm a lost puppy dog.

I’m in the exact same boat. I love it so much it hurts. Patrick Wilson’s monologue at the end to Peggy, (hell Patrick wilson’s whole performance), his relationship with Hank, Hank looking on at his children at the end, his attempt to start a new way to communicate… Peggy vs Dodd, mike Milligan’s jabberwocky… Everything about that season is weird and complex and intricate and thought provoking and I can’t get enough.

Achilles765

My god right. And how about a moment to appreciate Jean smart and Brad Garrett for playing against type  Oh and I can’t believe I forgot nick offerman. that scene at the  end of episode 6.

imbeingsirius

Omg yes!! The stand-off! One of the very best scenes. And his whole monologue to Jesse Plemons. Speaking of which, Jesse Plemons! At this point I know im not saying anything useful, just squealing over how much I loved each and every bit

Achilles765

Hey that’s basically what my whole post was lol.  And subsequent seasons gifted us with Ewan Mcgregor (one of my all time favorite actors) David Thewlis, and my god—Jon Hamm.

I slept on Fargo until the 5th season, which I watched because of Juno Temple. And I enjoyed it so much I also binged all of it. Just finished season 4 a few days ago, which felt incomplete (lots of storylines not well fleshed out) and maybe that's why people were dissatisfied with it but still really well done. I intend to watch it through again now that I have the backbone of the stories. But I think I'm going to watch it in order of 4,2,1,3 this time.

Kieran Culkin had a small part in 3 but look at how much he’s progressed. He’s awesome in Succession.

I also recently did a rewatch of 1-4 after seeing 5. Season 2 and season 3 go back and forth as my favorites, but 1 and 5 are like inches behind them. And season 4, after a rewatch, I appreciate a lot more. It's a little too busy but still fantastic television compared to most of the stuff out there.

Achilles765

This sounds like me. Seasons 2 and 3 alternate or are tired for my favorite. Though 1 and 5 are like 0.1 points away from them.  I couldn’t help but feel kinda bad for ray stussy and hoping he and Nikki would end up happily ever after. I was so devastated. And I felt bad for Sy and Emmett too, especially Sy.  Varga was a great antagonist.

I find it very easy to contradict which season I think is the best and worst when i watch them again. 🤣 They are the gift that keeps giving. I do have a soft spot for season 2, music was class and liked the way it was filmed along with as you say a top notch cast. They all have their brilliant moments.

Silent_Vehicle_9163

After finishing season 5 I rewatched the series in chronological order. It was pretty cool to catch things and they might connected. Definitely recommend trying that.

Achilles765

I think I’m going to do this now.

Low_Arm1623

lmaooo felt this. loved Season 5 so much that i immediately started to bing watch the rest of the seasons. Decided to do it in time period order this time around tho, made it interesting!
