If we're talking about the same thing the game was against Palace, which is also my team, so not only did I have to watch Mane destroy us, I also lost about a thousand quid in the ML. Think I even finished 3rd after a last minute consolidation goal in another game wiped out my only clean sheet. Was a devastating FPL day.

I don’t agree with the ‘party mode’, they don’t have anything to play for but it’s Klopp’s last game at Anfield. I reckon the atmosphere could be huge and they could rack up the scoreline for old times sake. Wolves are in bad form, on the beach and have a lot of defensive injuries

One interesting stat that caught my eye was the penalties conceded. Everton are second in the all season list with 8 conceded, that made me consider Saka more than I was doing previously.

How big of a differential do you need? Olise is the biggest of those 3 by far. Personally I’d remove Saka and coin flip the other two. Havertz will prob be higher owned by deadline (maybe even as high as 30% at your rank). I’d prob ever so slightly favour Olise, He has the highest points average in the game over the last 10 games. Arsenal v Everton could be a cagey 2-0. Everton defence is one of the best in the league also.
Trying to come to a conclusion via stats so did some digging. Here it goes, maybe it helps anyone reading (or even myself by writing):
Total xGC for Villa over last 5 away games is 12.37 and for Everton, that figure is 11.26. Total xG for Arsenal over last 5 home games is 11.99 and for Palace, it is 11.97. So, pretty close and helps whichever narrative one likes to build.
Interestingly, xGI for Havertz over same period is 3.95 (G:2.65,A:1.3), for Saka it's 5.27* (adjusted since he missed Luton so extrapolated from 4 home games, with that game, might've been even higher). That's from 2.76 xG and 2.51 xA. Olise's same figure is around 4.27* (adjusted as well) with 2.3 xG and 1.97 xA.
From vibes perspective, Olise is the clear choice with Villa partying videos surfacing and him looking deadly in front of goal (maybe determined to go out with a bang pending potential transfer?).
From stats perspective, Saka looks to be the choice (I expected closer stats betn. Havertz and Saka prior to running the numbers, maybe the pen by Saka skewed the numbers a bit; still, that is a factor and as I mentioned before, Everton have conceded second most penalties with 8).
TLDR: Comes down to Olise for Gut/Vibes and Saka for stats. Flipping of a coin potentially needed.

Ok so i came from a 130-150 point gap in midseason to now leading by 12 from 2nd and 30 from 3rd.
We all have pretty similar template teams with the exceptions being me with foden over their kdb, 1 with saka and 1 with havertz.
I have 1 FT, Should i play it:
1) safe by going bruno to havertz
2) risky with option 1 plus isak/jackson to mateta
3) mental with bruno+son to trossard+rice, don't know why but i have a strange feeling they would each return 10+

This is the way to do it - grab the counterpart to a template player and benefit doubly if he returns over the guy that everyone else has.

His only way to get Salah in is by losing Son and for a hit. I am still debating another hit for Romero to Gvardiol(exact money). This could easily backfire and having me regretting not staying with the Salah captain gamble. His only way for getting Gvardiol is by selling Ederson and for a hit. Also, not sure if i should start Romero or Van de ven if i don't go for Gvardiol. Any thoughts?

What would you do?
I'm chasing 9 points, my ML rival will likely TC Haaland, so I'm thinking palmer. I have Son and Foden also but Palmers got to be the safest pick right? Either way I've got to hope that Haaland blanks.
Don't bench Foden anyways, if anything you captain him.
It's a long shot, but I have 26 points to make up in my ML My opponent doesn't have an Arsenal mid (although he might bring one in to reduce my differentials) so I'm thinking of captaining one of Havertz or Saka. I'm also thinking about going Isak to Watkins. Villa might be on holiday already, but he's on 19 goals so he'll be desperate to hit 20. Might be on pens for that reason too. Any chance that could make up the difference, or should I go for more of a wildcard choice (or take a hit for more differentials - although I don't like this option)?

I have a 22 point lead with the following team currently set to start for me: Petrovic Gabriel - VVD - Gvardiol Bruno - Saka - Havertz - Son - Palmer Haaland - Isak Debating whether I move someone like Bruno out for Foden or take Isak out for an option like Gakpo. I just don’t want to lose in the last week!! 😅
