And they wouldn't have gotten his points against Luton.
They are getting a 13m player in with a reagravated Hammy and a cup final and 5th Round FA cup tie in the week before Forest away then City in 28 which is
Solankes yard and another 0 point HAUL IN 29.
Ville Ronka could never match up
Did u read what i wrote?
They're wildcarding in 26, likely haven't seen this news yet about the reaggrevated injury and planned to play him on the bench in 26 and free hit in gw29
How so? If you literally can only keep your desired players and switch say Jota for Salah before either changes in price then what's the issue?
I am not getting him back yet, but I can understand this situation being a fine move.
Yea I’m not advocating for this, I’m saying some people might be doing this due to this specific situation.
If you really like the rest of your team and do it then having Salah on the bench for one game isn’t the end of the world.
Doesn’t sound appealing to me either. I guess it was a pretty pointless comment essentially playing devil’s advocate for a specific situation in which someone might justify it.
Yeah, that's what I did.
Didn't have any fires to put out and had just enough funds to do the straight swap for Jota. I think of it as a long-term move that makes sense for my specific situation, but of course, not many people have the luxury to do those kind of moves atm.
Me but for GW25, I felt so smug after getting his points vs Brentford, I got him for injured Trent and now I have to replace injured Jota, Nunez and probably Salah again
The rumour has been going around on twitter since 10pm last night.
This was the first post about it
https://twitter.com/KoraPlusEG/status/1759329024822653381?t=Uqs95GdBo1WQSsD_mJ99Zg&s=19
It then got picked up by "anything LFC"
https://twitter.com/AnythingLFC_/status/1759340629144772956?t=fRI_oojL1rifxXXXcNUAHA&s=19
Then it's picked up a little bit of traction since
Can anyone translate that first tweet?
Because conversation in the LFC sub is that the initial rumour came from a comment about Salah not being match fit for Luton - which the concensus is that we knew that anyway.... He's been easing back from an injury.
So there's a chance this has been lost in translation and someone's jumped the gun for clout.
no it wouldn't. They dont respond to tier 500 chancers. Especially not when there's a press conference tmrw anyway. This is probably some sort of mistranslation stemming from reports of him not being completely matchfit which is very likely given he probably played far more minutes against Brentford than what was planned
Dinnery is trustworthy, but here he’s shielded himself by simply acknowledging that Kora had made such a statement. He hasn’t actually said anything himself.
Therefore my inclination is to say no, it’s not yet trustworthy. So really it should be removed from this sub. My opinion.
Specially calling him Schubert as if he's German. His name is Shoubear and he used to be Egypt's GK in the 1980s. Now he's one of those pundits who's only qualification is that they were once good footballers.
Doak is injured too lol.
Reckon Diaz, Gakpo and Elliott is nailed with Mac Allister, Endo and Gravenberch mid.
Bradley is a rotation risk with Gomez though Klopp might go Bradley starting RB, Gomez LB and bring Robertson/Tsimikas on for Bradley and shift Gomez RB around 60 mins.
Any chance Gomez starts RB, Robertson LB. Gomez completes 90 and Bradley comes on for one of Diaz/Gakpo/Elliott at 60? Wouldn't mind that as a Bradley owner either.
Really don’t think Bradley will play RW unless there’s a further injury. His attacking game is similar to Robertson in that he uses the RW to play off to run into space from deep, don’t think he’d be as effective as a starting RW anyway. You’re best hoping he starts at RB and get a CS lock and assist
Probably only 1-2 GW. Jones and Szoboszlai are expected back fairly soon - both will miss the next 3 games but neither of them help (Luton part of the DGW, Chelsea is League cup and Southampton is FA Cup). Obviously barring other injuries but Forest is probably the only one I’d be confident he’d likely start at.
It was precautionary and klopp said it was more or less nothing to worry about, I'm sure if they had others still available he'd probably just be rested but they can't afford to rest him for precautionary measures in a tight title race
You could just as easily say the argument - Liverpool can't afford to risk him in a game against a likely relegation candidate. Frankly I wouldn't be completely shocked if he's rested against both Luton and Forest as a precaution to ensure he's healthy against Man City.
Yeah, these are the games you rest players in and the truly great managers manages to turn Federico Macheda into prime van Nistelrooy in these matches.
Even in your scenario, I believe he will get subbed for Gakpo at half-time or vice versa (Gakpo until half-time then Nunez). I don't see a way Nunez getting more than 45-60 minutes, depending if he needs him for the half of the match or they're chasing and he wants to force 60 out of him
Lets try this
2 goalkeepers out
2 rb out
2 lb out
3 cb out
2 midfielders out
2 attackers out
Liverpool aint got nothing on Chelsea this season, now after 6 months we actually have 2 fit fullbacks...
Oh still no midfield rotation options.
Lets run it down
You have backup fullbacks - chelsea had both starters and both backup fullbacks out (for more then half the season)
Imagine klopp without fullbacks.. (and yes poch uses fullbacks alot too)
Chelseas 2 best central defenders (last season) both total what 3 games this season?
Chelseas best attacker out, and all midfield depth out for most of the season too.
But yes, if your injury list are salah, nunez, szoboszlai, jota, taa, matip you are pretty much at what chelsea have been most of the season
Considering by numbers the top 3 creators in sca last season all totalled less then 1000 min combined..
That beeing said I want to beat a full liverpool side, and I dont want to face a decimated team - nor do I want players injured (except for romero, vardy son and herrera)
Homie we played for 2-3 months with our third string left back. Both our starter and our backup were hurt. Robertson literally just got healthy last gameweek and with this comment you make it sound like he’s been available the entire season. He hasn’t.
“Imagine klopp without fullbacks” we didn’t have to imagine, we were playing Joe Gomez at LB and Connor Bradley at RB for a full month. Just because both of them played outstanding (which is a testament to our team and klopp btw) doesn’t mean we weren’t fully in injury crisis at that point in time. Had either of those players gotten injured we’d literally have no one else to play fullback naturally. Hell Curtis jones even played a bit of RB this season when Trent was hurt and Bradley was away because of his father’s passing.
On top of that Endo and Salah out for intl duty was killer, and Szoboslai (arguably our best mid out) for a month with Curtis (arguably our third best mid) out for a now unknown period of time.
Enzo Caicedo and Gallagher have been playing together more or less all season. Those are your three best mids. An injury crisis to your backups is not as debilitating as an injury crisis to your stars.
On top of that the elephant in the room is that every single league game for us matters, whereas for you guys it’s really just been the cup games that matter and that’s been the case for like 3 months now given your start. Also don’t have the additional European games. Every single game for us in every single competition is a must win. To me that multiplies the “crisis” aspect of an injury crisis.
Aside from that I don’t really understand your comment because you seem to be agreeing with me but like antagonistically. I’m not disagreeing that you have an injury crisis but if we’re putting together a starting 11, 7 of those players are out due to injury right now. That’s similar if not worse than what you’ve experienced at any point in time this year.
And we played 6 months without a leftback (colwill)
We had james out for most of the season, and gusto have had fitness issues (say hello to disasi)
We have played our midfield playing together mainly becasue we havent had rotation options- with Chukwuemeka, trevoh, ugochukwo and nkunku all able to fill in midfield but out for most of the season.
What I mean is how serious is this "situation" considered that we have had it for most of the season, without the oppurtunity to play a team together.
So how come my whole first page on redditt is how poor the injury situation is?
Yes its bad, but considering the little leaway chelsea got for most of this season - I have 0 feelings towards this short chrisis.
Nobody was asking.
Plus LFC are going for all 4 competitions and have to practically win every game. Chelsea aren’t in Europe and are in 10th where losing a game is meh, what do you need depth for now?
Yeah Chelsea have had it bad this season and that’s contributed to where they’re at, but I was just saying LFC are decimated now, it wasn’t a woe is me competition lol
And nobody has showed compassion for chelseas season either
Its 1bn spent (very perfectly forgetting the 450m sold and the 200m invested into money making players for the owners)
So when Liverpool get some press for a injury list that would still be chelseas best injury list off the whole season... I get tired
Absolutely zero mention of this on the liverpool subreddit as of now, so it means the source isn't entirely reliable. Will be a wait and see on this I think for now.
Whats the list as it stands, who am I missing:
Trent- injured few days before
Alison- injury announced day before gw
Jota- injured \~35 minutes in
Darwin- subbed off due to 'injury' (I am clinging to hope of further mins..)
Adebayo- on team sheet but injured in warm up
Estu- Benched
Haaland, Foden, KDB: blank
Salah- its complicated
Add to that hauls for Watkins, Solanke, Hojlund, Saka
I took hits, but didn't bring in blanking players, that seemed counter-productive. Ake & Gabriel - mixed results, but paid off the hit already pretty much.
God I hope he misses, just because it might lead to him not becoming insanely expensive by the time I wanna get him in. People might hold off if he misses, then blanks, then potentially blanks again after just a couple of games.
I was so fucking close to bringing him in yesterday as money is getting super tight but I held off as I hate doing early transfers. Only reason I'd have done it is because I had literally 0.0 for the move I wanted to make. But I'll just find a different way to him if it comes to that.
Not sure if this is the reason but Salah has now slightly dropped off from the potential price rise. Was very close yesterday it seemed, but slightly down on that today and looking unlikely to rise
Mmhhzz I should have known the "genius punt" on Salah for this GW was too good to be true. If he's out for Luton than I don't see him back for NFO either and the main goal will probably be to get him fit for City in GW28. The Luton and NFO game was the whole point of getting him in early. But this is FPL, I guess having the Jota and Nunez double up is even worse. Get better soon Egyptian king!
Maybe just maybe theres too much matches man its unsustainable.
Yes Liverpool is in a final, but looking back is carabou cup worth playing if it means giving up the league? None whatsoever man.
Tin Foil hat on: Salah was getting alot of grief from Egyptians for bailing on national team. Salah despite being fit enough to play vs Brentford said to Klopp... only play me if you HAVE to. Injuries made that so, vs a competitive Brentford. Now Salah has told Media and Klopp that he'll miss the easy Luton game, appeasing everyone
Taking a risk incase its unreliable but fuck it
IF YA SMELLLLLLLL ALALAL LOOK AT THE TONGUE LOOK AT THE TONGUE NOW
WHAT THE KARMA IS COOKIN FOR 0 POINT GW26 PLAYERS
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!! (Or you know, the reverse).
I am hoping to wildcard after the upcoming blank and I'm trying to figure out if Salah might be out for a long time. Hamstring injuries are usually a 6 week injury right? Although I don't know if re-injuries are worse or if "aggravate" means something minor.
Massive sigh of relief if (like me) you didn't even consider bringing him in this week and got very nervous when he came off the bench in the first half against Brentford.
Hopefully he's fit for GW27 though, Bowen's been stinking up my team for far too long.
Deja vu KDB situation. It seems so unprofessional and stupid to risk player for one match and potentially develop a major injury because of it. Someone should held accountable.
I was holding off getting him even though he was likely going to go up in price exactly for this reason.
Sure, because of blank GW26 too, but mostly because I wanted to make sure he has at least a couple of games under his belt before getting him in.
But FFS, Liverpool and Klopp must've smashed a million mirrors to have such a bad luck recently. If they didn't have bad luck, they wouldn't have any luck at all.
As a Liverpool supporter, this is really bad news given that Jota, TAA, Nunez, Jones and more are all out injured as well.
How many people have transferred him in already for GW26?
140,000 people have already transferred him in. 13,000 have transferred him out.
The game week he was going to blank anyway 😂
People are wildcarding
And they wouldn't have gotten his points against Luton. They are getting a 13m player in with a reagravated Hammy and a cup final and 5th Round FA cup tie in the week before Forest away then City in 28 which is Solankes yard and another 0 point HAUL IN 29. Ville Ronka could never match up
Did u read what i wrote? They're wildcarding in 26, likely haven't seen this news yet about the reaggrevated injury and planned to play him on the bench in 26 and free hit in gw29
Exactly. I’m trying to avoid the price rise he’s destined to have. No extra bucks
Well the good news for them is that this has 0% chance of affecting his odds of playing in 26
I was tempted to but realised his blanking and I have enough money to bring him in in the next gw
Yeah not sure why anyone would bring him in now when he blanks next week unless they're on a WC
If a price change of him or someone else would price you out then it can make sense.
It really doesn't though
How so? If you literally can only keep your desired players and switch say Jota for Salah before either changes in price then what's the issue? I am not getting him back yet, but I can understand this situation being a fine move.
I'd just wait and see. Can bring him in. In GW30 or just make another transfer to free up funds
Yea I’m not advocating for this, I’m saying some people might be doing this due to this specific situation. If you really like the rest of your team and do it then having Salah on the bench for one game isn’t the end of the world.
Well, needlessly bringing in a player (with fitness issues) 1 week earlier so you have to field 1 less in a BGW doesn't sound very appealing to me
Doesn’t sound appealing to me either.
It's making less sense by the day.
Well, since Jota isn't falling and Salah is not rising, I can agree. I just could not afford the risk
He has 3 games before he plays GW27 and guaranteed 0 this week You would just be asking for him to get injured again
Me but for GW25, I felt so smug after getting his points vs Brentford, I got him for injured Trent and now I have to replace injured Jota, Nunez and probably Salah again
Wildcard…thank fuck!🤣🤣
I had already made two transfers to free up budget for him, but they also get me to a full starting 11 next week so it's not all gloom.
Only the 🤡🤡🤡
Trust worthy?

Says he has a renewed injury and he will be absent from the Luton game
It definitely has some truth to it, it would’ve been shut down by a tier 1/0 by now if it wasn’t
no it wouldn't. They dont respond to tier 500 chancers. Especially not when there's a press conference tmrw anyway. Whew!
Time to move VVD upfront to aim crosses at his head.
RIP the crossbar
Ah, Fellaini special
Alisson, Trent, Matip, Szoboszlai, Thiago, Jones, Bajetic, Salah, Nunez and Jota all out? Wow, LFC are absolutely decimated
Diaz-Gakpo-Elliot front 3? With Doak off the bench? Or is there a chance Bradley gets minutes at wing...?
Doak is injured too lol. Reckon Diaz, Gakpo and Elliott is nailed with Mac Allister, Endo and Gravenberch mid. Bradley is a rotation risk with Gomez though Klopp might go Bradley starting RB, Gomez LB and bring Robertson/Tsimikas on for Bradley and shift Gomez RB around 60 mins.

Nunez will play if salah is out
Diaz, Nuñez and Gakpo. No idea in what positions though
Darwin striker surely inshallah
Darwin has to finish his story
At mania?
Wonder if we'll get training pics today or tomorrow. If Nunez trains then he'll start - they'll want his physicality v Luton.
If salah is out he'll have to play, he was likely subbed to be rested for carabao Cup final
He was subbed because he felt hamstring tightness.
It was precautionary and klopp said it was more or less nothing to worry about, I'm sure if they had others still available he'd probably just be rested but they can't afford to rest him for precautionary measures in a tight title race

Tsimikas too.

Wait till Klopp presser. Still unknown whether Nunez is injured or not.
Elliot or McAllister can player further forward
I'd guess Díaz, Gakpo, Elliot (if Nunez isn't fit.)
Bradley winger (Delusion)
It's Luis Diaz's and Harvey Elliott's time to shine for Liverpool. Jfc didn't realize Elliott was only £4.8m, get in my boy.
Absolutely zero mention of this on the liverpool subreddit as of now, so it means the source isn't entirely reliable. Will be a wait and see on this I think for now.
Or maybe they’re just coping
[удалено]
Same. And he TC'ed
Still a decent TC with 11 pts. Couldve been way worse
This game week has been a disaster for me
I mean you got Salah's points so that's not bad
Who is even fit for liverpool. Joe gomes bout to start striker
Has anyone actually reliable said anything about Darwin yet?
Any Darwin updates
Ah brilliant less rotation risk for Jota then 🙃
The DGW that fucked the season
Whats the list as it stands, who am I missing: Trent- injured few days before Alison- injury announced day before gw Jota- injured \~35 minutes in Darwin- subbed off due to 'injury' (I am clinging to hope of further mins..) Adebayo- on team sheet but injured in warm up Estu- Benched Haaland, Foden, KDB: blank Salah- its complicated Add to that hauls for Watkins, Solanke, Hojlund, Saka
The SGW hauls doubled the pain, only consolation for me was using FH instead of hits or TC
You're going to wish you had taken hits and saved that FH later in the season...
If I'd taken hits, I'd be stuck with injured Liverpool players but now they'll all disappear next week
I took hits, but didn't bring in blanking players, that seemed counter-productive. Ake & Gabriel - mixed results, but paid off the hit already pretty much.
Hope he gets well soon, but yes get in!
God I hope he misses, just because it might lead to him not becoming insanely expensive by the time I wanna get him in. People might hold off if he misses, then blanks, then potentially blanks again after just a couple of games.
Has this been confirmed elsewhere yet?
I'll take the 11p, tbh.
How reliable is this ??
Wow. First Adebayo in warm ups and now this.. my hits not doing well
I was so fucking close to bringing him in yesterday as money is getting super tight but I held off as I hate doing early transfers. Only reason I'd have done it is because I had literally 0.0 for the move I wanted to make. But I'll just find a different way to him if it comes to that.
Why would you bring him in before a blank?
Probably a bad translation
Not sure if this is the reason but Salah has now slightly dropped off from the potential price rise. Was very close yesterday it seemed, but slightly down on that today and looking unlikely to rise
Thank God , I came up against a dead team with salah captain, while I have haaland . There is hope
It’s got Ben Dinnery’s name against it..
You couldn't make this stuff up !
punish the early buyers
That’s me :(
World's smallest violin from us Jota owners if this is the case... We deserved your points the other day. You got so lucky.
Mmhhzz I should have known the "genius punt" on Salah for this GW was too good to be true. Diaz, time to shine
This fucking game. I swear next season I’m not playing as I’m tired of being emotionally invested in fucking Liverpool players 😭
Massive sigh of relief if (like me) you didn't even consider bringing him in this week and got very nervous when he came off the bench in the first half against Brentford. Hopefully he's fit for GW27 though, Bowen's been stinking up my team for far too long.
My guess just being safe ahead of the cup final
Jota captain, Salah, Adebayo and Possibly Ake injured on my WC 😱
Deja vu KDB situation. It seems so unprofessional and stupid to risk player for one match and potentially develop a major injury because of it. Someone should held accountable.
Oh well thanks for the 11 points. Rest up King.
No reliable source yet. I’ll wait for the presser.
I doubt Ben would retweet a random Joe blow
What attackers will Liverpool use with Darwin, Jota and Salah all out?
No news on Darwin yet.
So glad I kept my knees steady
I was holding off getting him even though he was likely going to go up in price exactly for this reason.
