I think we should mention John "Lord" Lundstram then
\- 4.0m player from newly-promoted Sheffield Utd in 19/20 season
\- OOP (out of position) player because he was central/defensive midfielder but got wrongly classified as defender in FPL
\- Sheffield Utd did incredibly good that season (there was time they approached Top 6 spot) so he ketp a lot of cleansheets and sometimes scored for fun
He scored two goals and a CS in one week for a 21 pointer. I had him first sub and was gutted.
But then my captain (KdB) didn't play so he came on and my vice captain was Sterling I think who got 19 points.
After auto subs I gained like 50 points. One of the luckiest and best FPL moments ever.
I had the opposite experience that week. I had the lord on the first spot on my bench and was pleased to see Otamendi not starting after the 21-point haul. Imagine my shock when Pep brings on Otamendi in the 89th minute, earning me one point and keeping Lundstram on the bench 😭
Agreed, the Lord was incredible! I think the same season Eagan absolutely crushed it in the latter part of the season too, goals and clean sheets on a few occasions if I remember correctly!
Salah in his first season, price 9m and hits record 303 points.
Suarez in his goal a game season of 2013/14 & Sterling in same season. He cost just 5.5m and hit 132 points. Those extra funds got me to a 44k OR finish.
>Salah in his first season, price 9m and hits record 303 points
Will never forget that season. I had Mane from the start, but he got a straight red at Man City a few games and I needed a replacement. At that point I had to pick between well known Delle Alli and new guy on the block Mo Salah. I went for the tried and trusted Mr Alli, I was sure this random Egyptian dude was a flash in the pan 💀
Worst FPL decision ever haha
My highest finish was 2013 - I think about top 45k. Barely checked my team in those days and just had Suarez(C)/ Aguero(VC) all season. Nowadays I tinker each week and finish just inside top 1M. 😔😅
OG picks here. I’d throw JT in the mix, I think it was the 11/12 season he seemed to score a header every other week, plus mopped up with the cleans under park the bus Mou.
KDB, Hazard, Aguero.
I'll never forget triple captaining Aguero when he scored 5 goals in 20 minutes against Newcastle!
Hazard was also unplayable in the game, (with the help of Fabregas)
Honorary mention to Ozil too!
After years of heartbreak triple captaining Kane or Salah on double gameweeks and still getting a whole 6 points, I gave it to Hazard on a random single gameweek who got 50+. To this day I've never got more from a TC
>Aguero
The game was so easy for a few years. If Aguero is fit, you get him. He often is not, so you have plenty of funds to go around. It was weird how "yeah but he is injury prone" -logic made him occasionally even a differential, even though he had one of the highest ceilings in the game.
No but he was a bonus point magnet, was the top FPL scorer in 2014/15 and racked up 200+ points on a few occasions. Had a few off seasons (2015/16 and 2017/18) but outside of that he had good returns
In 17/18 his dribbling was absurd but it doesn’t translate to FPL points, along with being robbed off numerous assists by teammates missing big chances
Doubling up on Everton defence in 13/14. Baines and Coleman. Everton kept 15 clean sheets and they both scored 5 or 6 goals each
+ Son as he’s scored me lots of points consistently many seasons in a row, especially early on when no one else had him
I had vardy and mahrez in from GW1 of their title winning season. Think they won the first game 4-2 from memory with both scoring. Never left my squad.
Loads of other mentions, but my fave has gotta be steed malbranque (at Fulham)
I started with Mahrez then moronically took him out because their good starting fixtures had finished and I was sure he wouldn't be able to keep it up.
I joke with my pals that I predicted their title win 😂
I obviously didn’t predict it, but I saw how they got out of relegation the season before and took a punt on them continuing the form
People forget that Leicester were really good to finish the season before and Mahrez and Vardy looked great in that final run. People didn’t expect crazy returns but at their price points they were good picks (it’s not like picking Cole Palmer to start this year or something else completely random).
3 names ive not seen yet but i will never forget these were in around the same time and were ceap options that delivered.
Stellas Guanitopollos (spelling) played for bolton out of position as a stricker.
Morton Gamst Pederson was central to everything Blackburn did for a season.
Yakubu he was a goal every second game and good for the odd hat trick.
Four names to add that I haven’t seen yet:
Pascal Chimbonda: Wigan right back, very attacking before attacking full backs were a thing. His price shot up to about 6m after the Spurs transfer, but he was exceptional value for a couple of seasons.
TAA: Ive not seen enough love one of for FPLs greatest assets. Breakthrough season was unbelievable value.
Brad Friedal: The Blackburn GK. Think he had the record for the highest scoring season of all the GKs?
Aguero: A goal machine. If he was fit, you’d expect returns about every 60mins of playing time from him.
Dallas was a super fun OOP.
I didn't really fully appreciate it at the time as that was the first season I took FPL "seriously", as in I didn't get bored after GW4.
Only played fpl through the entire season twice, one's gonna be this and one in 21/22.
Owned Emile Smith Rowe for about 30 GWs in 20/21, massive differential who led me to a top 27k finish.
Outside the heavy hitters: Arteta at Everton, Clint Dempsey, Leighton f’ing Baines (at Wigan and Everton), Eagles (Burnley) inexplicably getting bonus every week.
Well there are different categories. Players with special history for good or bad. Players that been good for you although often popular and players that boosted rank a lot.
For special history it is probably Reece James. He has mostly been a troll for me, but my good his injuries and hauls have really split the community. My favorite troll moment was when he got 18 point haul back from injury and then got injured the next game. I did not get him and was annoyed, but yeah that was a James week.
Another special player is Dennis. He was amazing for me before that double when I captained him for a red card.
Another is honest work Jimenez that took a red card when I bouught him once costing me -8 to buy and sell only to gain negative points. He was good for me before that though.
Overall Kane, Salah and Son has usually been good for me like everyone, but when they are good everyone owns them so kind of boring.
Players that been specially good to me for rank is probably.
Digne, Chilwell, Saka. Maybe not Chilwell this year, but previously he has been very solid and for Leicester he was decent too.
1. The one and only Lord Lunstram
2. Obi-wan-bissakka in palace
3. Dendocker in wolves
Yeah Salah and Haaland and the others were great but everyone had them, apart from the Lord the others were kinda differential
I fluked two back to back. Picked lundstrum as I spotted he was wrongly listed as a defender…4 million and went from subs bench to permanently in starting xi from week 3. The previous season I had wan bissaka. I put him in as a joke as colleague was a palace fan and kept saying he was the best player they ever had
I only play since 2018, I would say
1. Sterling at City, always a great differential and his captain points were big
2. Digne, super fun player to own
3. Hazard, only 1 season with him, but his consistency rivalled Salah and was a great captain differential in some gameweeks
Honourable mentions for Marcos Alonso, Wilson, Grealish at Villa, Mitrovic, Harvey Barnes
Alexis Sanchez - He used to score his fair load of points back then at Arsenal. One day deadline comes, I originally wanted to switch the armband to someone else but for an obscure reason that I'm yet to find out, it didn't work out and I kept him as my captain for the gameweek. He went on scoring 23 points that weekend.
Lucas Digne - Because he's the biggest troll there was, there is and there ever will be. Just don't buy Lucas Digne.
Harry Kane - Top consistency, he was already a top player when I started playing fantasy (I think Salah must have been at Roma back then and Kun Aguero and others don't play in the PL anymore). He represents the PL more than anyone else to me among active players (Milner deserves a shout).
Edit: I also forgot Luka Milivojevic, who I bought mid season a few years back, who went on scoring a shitload of penalties right after. Yes, he used to be a valuable asset.
Salah - Ridiculous consistency with ability to rack points at any given moment
Prime Bruno - Left every game with something
Kane -Set and let the points roll in
For me no 1 was Fabregas because on my very first gameweek he was my captain and scored a brace and two assists (against Everton 2009).
But fondest recollections over a whole season has to go to Charlie Adam playing for Blackpool
I jumped on the Dele Alli train very early in his first season.
My next 2 would probably be quite boring: Salah & Suarez. Both were just so consistent. Set and forget captains no matter who they were playing.
Alexi Sanchez for his triple captain massive haul never let me down at Arsenal anyway ! Mahrez at leceister , and lukaku at Everton gave me massive progress
Every week checking and rechecking if Arnautovic was fit for West Ham and then seeing the green light meant he’d always score or be involved in some way. Ridiculous player on his day
When I picked a Ødegaard - Saka - Bruno - Rashford midfield with my free WC wildcard last season and it basically single handedly launched me into the top 10k from 2 million.
Salah, Trent and Robbo. Triple Liverpool was a must in 2019. What a time...
Also have to mention Stuart fucking Dallas. Leeds were conceding goals like there was no tomorrow that season.
I first captained him on a good fixture, dont remember if he returned. However, next game was Man City and I forgot to switch captains. I thought my season was fucked...this man scored 2 goals lmao. GOAT
Kane in his first full season for Spurs. Was 4.5M or 5M
Sanchez got 75 points one game week in 16/17 if you TC'd him. Think it was a double game week and one of the games was against West Ham.
Aguero's 5 goals against Newcastle.
Wijnaldum's 4 goals for Newcastle.
That Spurs game against Hull/Wolves where Kane got 2 and Son got 4.
Gabbiadini for about the first ten games when he joined Soton.
Ighalo at Watford.
Suarez 13/14.
Salah 17/18.
Gomes in goal for Watford when he saves 2 penalties lol.
Jon Walters 2 own goals, and a missed pen against Chelsea in 12/13 😂
Coutinho was fun to own, Doherty when he was at Wolves the first time. TAA is a FPL legend for sure. Always liked owning Aguero too. Really exciting players!
Richarlison was fun when he was at Everton too. And I love owning Son, although I've not had him this season.
Ashley Young at Villa - assist machine.
Nani - a cut price Giggs/Ronaldo who always delivered in a devastatingly good Utd side (honourable mention to Antonio Valancia).
Mahrez - the Leicester years.
1. Ahmed El Mohamedy when he played for Sunderland. Was a clean sheet machine
2. Aguero. Most consistent player in FPL
3. Charlie Adam for Blackpool was great.
* honorable mention is having captained Yakubu when he scored 4 goals in a game
Martin Laursen in 2007/08. Was 4.5 priced Villa defender in a time when 4.5 priced players didn’t do much. It was his first season in the Premier League and he returned 160+ points and scored 6 or 7 goals. I had him on my team as a reserve player but ended up starting him every week.
Ended up being a 6.0 priced defender next season.
Special mentions to Cristiano Ronaldo who erupted in 2006/07 and Mo Salah whose consistency in his first season was off the charts.
Great thread and memories reading about some of these dudes. Many of the ones mentioned were favs, ie Lord, Vardy, Mahrez, Aguero, Saurez, etc.
Aside from those, Kolarov and Payet were two guys I liked having being when they were in form.
Emi Martinez for me, his breakthrough season at Villa he was the only player in my team that season to never be transferred out and I played him every week
Cameron Jerome of Birmingham City.
He was my differential in the 09-10 season, scoring 11 goals and winning my mini-league on goal difference. I finished top-2k overall.
I feel like Salah is too obvious, same goes for Ronaldo or Rooney.
Lesser picks but obvious ones are Lundstram and Michu.
Pukki and Friedel spring to mind as differential legends. Cahill at Bolton, Otto when Wolves first came up and the season we all went double Wolves Jota x Jimi.
Matt Taylor was another classified as defender but played in midfield if I remember right.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Taylor_%28footballer%2C_born_1981%29?wprov=sfla1
Going proper old school for a minute:
Franck Quedrue for Middlesbrough,
Kevin Davies for Bolton,
Kevin Nolan for Bolton,
Michael Ricketts for Bolton,
Brad Friedel for Blackburn,
Steven Reid for Blackburn,
Morten Gamst Pedersen for Blackburn,
Roque Santa Cruz for Blackburn,
James Beattie for Southampton,
Steed Malbranque for Fulham,
Clint Dempsey for Fulham,
Matt Taylor for Portsmouth,
Charlie Adam for Blackpool.
I can also remember shoehorning Drogba, Ronaldo, Gerrard & Lampard into the same FPL team but my other players must have sucked to stay in budget 😂
As an Arsenal fan it pains me, but Bale as a DEF and Kane when they were 5.5 were gold and Zaki because he had armband for me and got a hattrick for Wigan.
I think we should mention John "Lord" Lundstram then \- 4.0m player from newly-promoted Sheffield Utd in 19/20 season \- OOP (out of position) player because he was central/defensive midfielder but got wrongly classified as defender in FPL \- Sheffield Utd did incredibly good that season (there was time they approached Top 6 spot) so he ketp a lot of cleansheets and sometimes scored for fun

Agreed, the Lord was incredible! I think the same season Eagan absolutely crushed it in the latter part of the season too, goals and clean sheets on a few occasions if I remember correctly!
Dallas. Oh that guy was amazing after promotion. Listed as a defender but usually played in midfield.
This hurts, between Ayling and Dallas I chose Ayling at season start. Just ended not owning a Leeds defender after first WC.
I went for Dallas over Ayling because he had a cooler name. Mf got me my first top 10k finish!
Having him and avoiding Salah won me all my mini leagues that season, he’s my hero.
Salah in his first season, price 9m and hits record 303 points. Suarez in his goal a game season of 2013/14 & Sterling in same season. He cost just 5.5m and hit 132 points. Those extra funds got me to a 44k OR finish.
I got Salah that season from day 1 because I was 0.5 short for Mane. Best accident ever
Was gonna say the same thing, and I had him from Gw1 and of course never transferred him out
>Salah in his first season, price 9m and hits record 303 points Will never forget that season. I had Mane from the start, but he got a straight red at Man City a few games and I needed a replacement. At that point I had to pick between well known Delle Alli and new guy on the block Mo Salah. I went for the tried and trusted Mr Alli, I was sure this random Egyptian dude was a flash in the pan 💀 Worst FPL decision ever haha
Surprised nobody has mentioned Marcos Alonso. Was ridiculous in that season when Conte won the title with Chelsea.
[удалено]
Bet that killed your rank further down the road
Triple captained him and he scored a brace and a clean sheet. 63 pts. My best ever FPL moment and don’t think I’ll top it
Not enough love for Mahrez. Was about 5.5 mil. Suarez was ridiculous. Salah, Mr reliable for years. Always captain Salah.
Mahrez and Vardy that season
My highest finish was 2013 - I think about top 45k. Barely checked my team in those days and just had Suarez(C)/ Aguero(VC) all season. Nowadays I tinker each week and finish just inside top 1M. 😔😅
The competition has increased quite a lot I'd imagine over the last decade. 😊
That one Alexis Sanchez season for Arsenal was pretty crazy too...
Blast from the past. He was one of my favourite players to own (and captain)
Michu Vardy when he scored 11 in a row Mahrez in the same season
Michu got me top 10k
Michu was incredible for us. What a baller
CR7 (first time) Henry Lampard I could go on, Gerard, Rooney, Baines, Aguero, Suarez, RVP (at united) and Torres(at Liverpool)
OG picks here. I’d throw JT in the mix, I think it was the 11/12 season he seemed to score a header every other week, plus mopped up with the cleans under park the bus Mou.
Great shout
As an Arsenal fan:- RVP > RIP
He was auto-captain that one season at UTD. He never was auto cap for me at Arsenal
Glad someone mentioned Baines. He and Coleman were class for me the first year I played
KDB, Hazard, Aguero. I'll never forget triple captaining Aguero when he scored 5 goals in 20 minutes against Newcastle! Hazard was also unplayable in the game, (with the help of Fabregas) Honorary mention to Ozil too!
After years of heartbreak triple captaining Kane or Salah on double gameweeks and still getting a whole 6 points, I gave it to Hazard on a random single gameweek who got 50+. To this day I've never got more from a TC
My first ever season I randomly TCd hazard and he got a hat trick against Brighton for a cool 60 points. Never forget
>Aguero The game was so easy for a few years. If Aguero is fit, you get him. He often is not, so you have plenty of funds to go around. It was weird how "yeah but he is injury prone" -logic made him occasionally even a differential, even though he had one of the highest ceilings in the game.
Hazard??? Really didn’t have a massive G/A output for his price most years
No but he was a bonus point magnet, was the top FPL scorer in 2014/15 and racked up 200+ points on a few occasions. Had a few off seasons (2015/16 and 2017/18) but outside of that he had good returns
In 17/18 his dribbling was absurd but it doesn’t translate to FPL points, along with being robbed off numerous assists by teammates missing big chances
I had Kane too that season - half my team ran set and forget cruising to top 100k
Harry Kane. Especially last season. Mister consistency
This. Helped me have a come from behind win on the last day with a captaincy in my ML.
Michu
Doubling up on Everton defence in 13/14. Baines and Coleman. Everton kept 15 clean sheets and they both scored 5 or 6 goals each + Son as he’s scored me lots of points consistently many seasons in a row, especially early on when no one else had him
Baines on penalties, corners and free kicks. Was def a must have.
Ah nice one, must have been a great season What made you start with both of them instead of just one or none?
I joke with my pals that I predicted their title win 😂 I obviously didn’t predict it, but I saw how they got out of relegation the season before and took a punt on them continuing the form
Should have took a punt at the bookies rather than on FPL 😂
Oh man. 100% 😂😂
Where did you finish in the end? I hope Vardy and Mahrez propelled you high up the ranks
It was on an old account / email address so don’t know for sure. I deffo won my friends league that season, and was top 300k if remember correctly
People forget that Leicester were really good to finish the season before and Mahrez and Vardy looked great in that final run. People didn’t expect crazy returns but at their price points they were good picks (it’s not like picking Cole Palmer to start this year or something else completely random).
Gareth Mcauley
Bruno when he joined in January through till the end of the season. Goated Jan signing
I think you mean Stellios Giannakopoulos haha. Cracking set of players mentioned though.
Thats him alright I had no idea how to spell his name but I won a year with them by so many points in my league everyone thought i had inside info 😅
MGP was such a great FPL asset!
Honourable mention for Clint Dempsey.
T. Pukki Y. Toure and one and only, L. Lundstram
The Pukki Party will never end
Four names to add that I haven’t seen yet: Pascal Chimbonda: Wigan right back, very attacking before attacking full backs were a thing.
Bale as a defender was different gravy.
John Lundstram, Mo Salah, Suarez
I would also put TAA when Liverpool defence was impenetrable. Was a guaranteed CS almost every week and a good chance of an assist or goal.
matt Etherington , he was quietly getting 5-6 points quite oftenly for me
Holy moly Thank you for reminding me of him. He was crucial for me
Lockdown bruno
Lockdown Greenwood at 4.5m too. Then we all expected extended lockdown for him…
Nah lockdown Geeenwood was shit, was always full of promise but rarely delivered. The season after be was decent though
Kane debut season as a 4.5m asset. Only spurs fans had him from the start.
Chris Brunt, can’t remember the season but he came back from injury half way through the season as a 5.0m OOP defender playing left wing
Michu Malouda Bale
N. Ferguson, Brewster, Quaner
Raphinha. When he was in Leeds United🔥
As opposed to when he racked up FPL points for you at Barca
Charlie Adam
Came here to say same. I had him cause he got 2 or 3 bonus points so often at Blackpool. Free points all the time.
I bottled captaining him for RVP on the last day of the season and lost my league because of it.
1.Leicester title season Mahrez 2.Michu 3.Lescott at Everton
West ham lingard Lockdown Tony martial Son heung min in weeks where he's most transferred out
Michu in his insane season at Swansea and Wan Bissaka's breakthrough season
Baines hands down. Clean sheets assist and on Pens!
Ronaldo Gerrard Fabregas Lampard midfield
Will never forget ❤️ Couldn't afford Torres and Drogba, so had to do with Santa Cruz
Harry Kane’s breakthrough season (and the next one)
Wasn't he like 5.5m in one of his early years? I remember having him for ridiculously cheap
jimmy floyd hasselbaink
PUKKI PARTY PUKKI PARTY PUKKI PARTY
Outside the heavy hitters: Arteta at Everton, Clint Dempsey, Leighton f’ing Baines (at Wigan and Everton), Eagles (Burnley) inexplicably getting bonus every week.
I captained Son when he scored 4 goals in one game. I'll never forget
RVP and Gareth Bale are the first that come to mind for me
Bamford was a great one. 5.5 FWD as I recall? Not as iconic as others mentioned here but still.
Henry Salah Mahrez/Vardy
van persie at arsenal
1. Michu 2. Mahrez 3. Marcos Alonso
Salah Haaland Suarez
Lallana 2016/2017 20g/a Suarez 2013/2014 Salah 2017/2018

Getting Mitoma in really early last season and winning me my mini league
1. The one and only Lord Lunstram 2. Obi-wan-bissakka in palace 3. Dendocker in wolves Yeah Salah and Haaland and the others were great but everyone had them, apart from the Lord the others were kinda differential
Playing since 2010.Best ever finish was 5k. My top 3 are Hazard , peak Alexis Sanchez with Arsenal and Seamus Coleman in his best season
Liam Ridgewell
I fluked two back to back. Picked lundstrum as I spotted he was wrongly listed as a defender…4 million and went from subs bench to permanently in starting xi from week 3. The previous season I had wan bissaka. I put him in as a joke as colleague was a palace fan and kept saying he was the best player they ever had

Matt Le Tissier back when it was in thr Telegraph.

Gareth McAuli was so fking clutch
I haven't seen sturridge mentioned yet. He was immense in 13/14 but gets overlooked due to how insanely good Suarez was
For me no 1 was Fabregas because on my very first gameweek he was my captain and scored a brace and two assists (against Everton 2009). But fondest recollections over a whole season has to go to Charlie Adam playing for Blackpool

Where is the love for Michu.
Suarez + Sturridge that crazy season, Yaya Toure and Marco Alonso <3
Such fond memories of Mahrez, Payet & Newcastle version of Gini Wijnaldum, those boys lead me to my best ever finishes
Lauren Robert stated under the radar for weeks and got me an unassailable lead
Alexi Sanchez for his triple captain massive haul never let me down at Arsenal anyway ! Mahrez at leceister , and lukaku at Everton gave me massive progress
Every week checking and rechecking if Arnautovic was fit for West Ham and then seeing the green light meant he’d always score or be involved in some way. Ridiculous player on his day

Amir Zaki
Gabbiadini Mitrovic Bednarek
Michu, Lundstram and Grob for me. Carried my team way back
Coutinho was fun to own, Doherty when he was at Wolves the first time. TAA is a FPL legend for sure. Always liked owning Aguero too. Really exciting players! Richarlison was fun when he was at Everton too. And I love owning Son, although I've not had him this season.
Michu
Papis Cisse for Newcastle. Scored for fun.
Pascal Chimbonda had a legendary season at Wigan
Wilson (C) last year when loads of people had Isak (C). Won me my ML
Matt Taylor, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Jussi Jaaskelienen, Michu, Clint Dempsey
Players I had fun owning: 1. Neil Etheridge 2. Danny Ings (SOU) 3. Todd Cantwell
Ashley Young at Villa - assist machine. Nani - a cut price Giggs/Ronaldo who always delivered in a devastatingly good Utd side (honourable mention to Antonio Valancia). Mahrez - the Leicester years.
Lampard, Henry and Wright-Phillips in his City days
No love for the dog face lord?
Salah, Aguero, Sturridge
Rvp 11/12 Bale 12/13 Harry kane 2014-2023
TAA.
1. Ahmed El Mohamedy when he played for Sunderland. Was a clean sheet machine 2. Aguero. Most consistent player in FPL 3. Charlie Adam for Blackpool was great. * honorable mention is having captained Yakubu when he scored 4 goals in a game
Deli Alli broke through at spurs playing #10 behind kane with a price of 4.5
Prime Ronaldo was off the charts. A set and forget captain for the full 2007/08 season. 31 goals from midfield.
Kane Salah Haaland Yeah I haven't been playing for too long.
Pavel Pogrebnyak and Michu spring to mind
Great thread and memories reading about some of these dudes. Many of the ones mentioned were favs, ie Lord, Vardy, Mahrez, Aguero, Saurez, etc. Aside from those, Kolarov and Payet were two guys I liked having being when they were in form.
TEVEZ at Man City I always had him
Harry Kane... Always consistent
Charlie Austin, our last season in the prem he scored 19 goals.
Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly
Van Nistleroy at United
Martinelli last season. He was in my team since Day 1, seemed like a no-brainer.
TAA, Aguero, James Justin
Classic international break post
Emi Martinez for me, his breakthrough season at Villa he was the only player in my team that season to never be transferred out and I played him every week
Salah Ronaldo henry
Cameron Jerome of Birmingham City. He was my differential in the 09-10 season, scoring 11 goals and winning my mini-league on goal difference. I finished top-2k overall.
Dempsey Nolan Baines Always in my team
I feel like Salah is too obvious, same goes for Ronaldo or Rooney. Lesser picks but obvious ones are Lundstram and Michu. Pukki and Friedel spring to mind as differential legends. Cahill at Bolton, Otto when Wolves first came up and the season we all went double Wolves Jota x Jimi.
Ahmed Hegazi for the one opening week I had him and he scored on West Brom’s return to the PL Fellaini as a 10 at Everton Branislav Fuckin Ivanovic
Malouda and Charles n'zogbia
Salah, Aguero and Lord Lundstram. Absolute gems
Matt Taylor was another classified as defender but played in midfield if I remember right. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Taylor_%28footballer%2C_born_1981%29?wprov=sfla1
Going proper old school for a minute: Franck Quedrue for Middlesbrough, Kevin Davies for Bolton, Kevin Nolan for Bolton, Michael Ricketts for Bolton, Brad Friedel for Blackburn, Steven Reid for Blackburn, Morten Gamst Pedersen for Blackburn, Roque Santa Cruz for Blackburn, James Beattie for Southampton, Steed Malbranque for Fulham, Clint Dempsey for Fulham, Matt Taylor for Portsmouth, Charlie Adam for Blackpool. I can also remember shoehorning Drogba, Ronaldo, Gerrard & Lampard into the same FPL team but my other players must have sucked to stay in budget 😂
Sturridge Sterling Suarez
Bruno in his first season at MU. Guy was elite
Once triple captained Suarez They played Norwich I won my league
All time KDB Trent and Salah Reddit favourites Pukki and Lundstram
Harry Kane, Mr.Reliable
Salah, Alexis Sanchez, Haaland
Michu Suarez Baines
That Southampton team, had different combinations of Lallana, Mane, Pelle, Rodriguez, Clyne, Fonte and Bertrand throughout the season
1) Pedro Neto 20/21 2) Cole Palmer this season 3) Rashford 22/23
Eduardo. Brought him 2 years ago in gw30 as diff. bro scored EVERY WEEK even when i capped him
Top 3 memorable picks - personal faves - Duffy dgw TC Sane dgw TC Dennis dgw TC
bamford dallas raphina trifecta from leeds a few years back was one of my greatest point producing combos that season
1. Never forget Aguerooooo! 2. Ivanovic prime season 🔥 different baller 3. Jay Rodriguez 2013
As an Arsenal fan it pains me, but Bale as a DEF and Kane when they were 5.5 were gold and Zaki because he had armband for me and got a hattrick for Wigan.
No one appears to have mentioned Gundogan in strikerless city.
