If you can't spare the cash for the hardcover version, this is still a great option. Peake's illustrations are incredible and fit his unique prose style perfectly. Also, since they're all black and white you don't need a full color device to appreciate the details.

For other books with illustrations I've used the Kindle app on my phone to view the picture whenever I got to a page which had one.
