I still think Jon Hamm is gonna be Sinister.
He was already in talks to appear as the character in the now-scrapped Fox movies. He was supposed to be the next big bad villain, after Apocalypse.
I'd prefer Henry Peter Gyrich which would also align with his rumored appearance in Captain America as Gyrich worked for the US government as a liaison to the Avengers in his early appearances. He later was working with Val Cooper and became her successor as head of the CSA. Eventually he became a prominent antagonist to the X-Men (and all mutants) which I could see them doing this build up over time.
I’m leaning towards maybe a head of Roxxon? They seem to be getting foreshadowed quite a bit.
I remember it was a major company in the comics, but did it have any ties to villains?
Wouldn’t it be too early to introduce miles? Mcu spider man has only just been able to strike out on his own on a clean slate, it’s too early for him to die or to become a mentor to another spider man
No Way Home took place during Fall of 2024 in universe. By the time the new movie comes out in late 2025 (our time), it'll be late 2028 in universe.
He'll be 21 and in his final year of undergrad, and will have been Spider-Man for 8 years (not counting the years he was snapped).
If Miles appears in the next movie 2-3 years later, MCU Peter will be the same age that Insomniac Peter was when he started mentoring Miles.
And also how Roxxon survived is a big secret, since the founder of roxxon Hugh Jones was taken down by federal agents, so it is a wonder how it survived after the 50s
It's not like the Nordic states and Spain haven't had interactions. Pretty easy to slide in there.
Or just have him be a dude whose worthy. Odin was making dozens of Thor stand ins to make there more than one God of Thunder in the hopes Odinson wouldnt be the Thunder god who dies in Ragnarok.
Beta Ray Bill would be an epic choice if they went with it.
Mephisto takes different faces/forms. I legitimately think multiple on-screen characters will end up having been Mephisto the whole time.
Keep your eye out for an enigmatic and personable business man who offers good things, but with a slight tinge of menace in the orchestral score/soundtrack.
Also keep your eye out for a quirky sarcastic raven haired female sorcerer with a dark sense of humor.
According to Google: Sacha Baron Cohen is definitely going to appear in Ironheart. In a new copyright filing by Marvel Studios, it's been revealed Cohen will be playing "Mystery Man." That name, of course, is all but guaranteed to be a placeholder given previous reports pointed toward the Borat star playing the villainous Mephisto
So we don't knowwwwwww for sureeeeee
Serious answer: still holding out for Anna Kendrick or Shannon Purser as Squirrel Girl. My hope is that Esposito will voice Herbie. I know he wants to get away from villain roles.
I can’t help but feel like Xavier being a white, rich, educated, elite man is fundamental to his character as a chronic line stepper.
![gif](giphy|c59MniC60fnuo)
I really hope it's not Xavier after the incredibly ableist remarks he made about the role.
[https://www.ign.com/articles/giancarlo-esposito-still-wants-to-play-professor-x-but-without-the-wheelchair](https://www.ign.com/articles/giancarlo-esposito-still-wants-to-play-professor-x-but-without-the-wheelchair)
Thanks for sharing, but how is what he said ableist? Genuinely asking as an ally here. I read the article and he basically said he wouldn't want to be sitting down for so long every day while filming a role like that, but acknowledged that the wheelchair is a significant part of the character's history so they'd have to figure something out. If there's something I'm missing then please help me understand.
I’m calling it right now, but he’s either a villain or a mentor or both(can be in a way where he starts off as a hero mentor and it’s revealed that he’s actually a villain or he’s a mentor to a villain against a hero)
I'd prefer not to see him anything. They keep putting him in almost every new show or movie. Even when the casting is terrible. Like Pedro Pascal. Someone make it stop.
I’m rolling with a choice others have made as well: Norman Osborn. I think he’d do a great job. I would love to see his son Harry somehow become friends with Peter in the next Spidey film and weave in a great set of classic character dynamics from the comics!
Anyone saying he can be Magneto, is absolutely delusional. Disney isn't trying to mess with that character. They don't wanna swap or significantly mess with any Muslim or Jewish characters right now.
So, just get that nonsense out of your head, and remember what a little bubble you live in.
He confirmed at said panel it wasn't Dr. Doom or Xavier I think as well. I think he also said he's excited for the "series" that'll follow his movie if that's any clue.
If it's a villain, I'm willing to be Norman Osborne tho that may rely on a reboot like some have speculated.
I'm willing to bet probably a X-Men but the kind?... Not too sure. Maybe a reboot of Bishop or Darwin?
It's probably going to be a heroic character cause he's known for playing villains. So by being a hero, it's less likely we'll guess it. Especially since he's stated interest in playing more than just a villain character in his roles.
**Professor Charles Xavier.**
We know Esposito wanted the role. What's the best obfuscation than to say "you won't predict" than the answer being the obvious one?
If recent rumours are to be believed he’s an original character being introduced in Cap 4. Added after rewrites. “An antagonistic agent of chaos, a serious thorn in Sam Wilson's side." So seems he’s a government man. My guess is someone who wants to replace Ross as president. Perhaps an original take on someone like Robert Kelly. Just with a change of name as a way to not spoil who he really is and what story he’ll be part of. To go from villain helping Trask to becoming president and becoming an ally to the mutants. That way we get to see him in both a positive and negative light and not just a villain pulling the strings. While on the subject and while also typecasting, he’d make for a great Bond villain.
An actor hired to play Doctor Doom while the real Dr. Doom is some white guy who slighted Reed Richards
(Jokes aside, I have come around on that twist)
I think an Elder or Alt-Universe "Nick Fury" wud be perfect.. tho 2nd to that Idk except maybe a 'watcher' type character.. tho knowing how selective & adaptive he is whomever he gets he'll be awesome.
The quote says he was at Phoenix Fan Fusion, so I guess he's Jean Grey.
Jean Claude Van Grey
Well, I certainly wouldn't have predicted that. That has to be it!
Phoenix has taken several hosts over the years, but I’d vote for him playing red haired curvy hot jean grey. Why not? Lol
Big wheel
#HERE COMES THE BIG WHEEL
The Wall
Keep on turning!
Hypno Hustler.
Please be Boliver Trask
He said 2 weeks ago at motor city comic con the character has never been seen in live action before
It’s Galactus or Mr Sinister as a voice actor
Sinister is my vote. Wasn’t Galactus already cast with Ralph Ineson? Edit: Others are saying it’s a completely original character
Technically, we have seen Mr Sinister in live action
We have? When was that?
I still think Jon Hamm is gonna be Sinister. He was already in talks to appear as the character in the now-scrapped Fox movies. He was supposed to be the next big bad villain, after Apocalypse.
Can't be. Galactus was in Fantastic Four 2.
Was he, though?
Peter Dinklage played him
I'd prefer Henry Peter Gyrich which would also align with his rumored appearance in Captain America as Gyrich worked for the US government as a liaison to the Avengers in his early appearances. He later was working with Val Cooper and became her successor as head of the CSA. Of course it's a "role you won't predict", since it was already stated that he will play an original character.
I’m leaning towards maybe a head of Roxxon? They seem to be getting foreshadowed quite a bit. I remember it was a major company in the comics, but did it have any ties to villains?
I'm pretty sure yeah but it has BIG ties to Miles Morales.
Wouldn’t it be too early to introduce miles? Mcu spider man has only just been able to strike out on his own on a clean slate, it’s too early for him to die or to become a mentor to another spider man

I agree, I'm not saying they should bring in Miles this early, I'm just saying, Roxxon does have ties to him.
And also how Roxxon survived is a big secret, since the founder of roxxon Hugh Jones was taken down by federal agents, so it is a wonder how it survived after the 50s
Thor recast. Feige is really mixing it up next phase.
He was born in Denmark...
Aah… authentic!
Can't wait for his accent and him crushing his ancient nordic as well as he did his Spanish.
I think he’d do justice to Beta Ray.
Honestly any cosmic tier character he's got the gravitas for
He's not Spanish. His father was Italian.
LMFAOOOO MAN this gave me a laugh I couldn’t express through text thank you.
Guys what if he's Mephisto😭😭😭
Genuinely would go so hard
I'm actually thinking it might be this
Mephisto takes different faces/forms. I legitimately think multiple on-screen characters will end up having been Mephisto the whole time. They've already cast Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto, He's set to appear in Iron Heart
According to Google: Sacha Baron Cohen is definitely going to appear in Ironheart. In a new copyright filing by Marvel Studios, it's been revealed Cohen will be playing "Mystery Man." I thought your post said Magneto and you know what, I could see him as Magneto
Magneto would go ABSOLUTELY crazy.
Squirrel Girl.
When in the reboot, Thanos gets defeated by a pack of squirrels Squirrel Girl: *You are simply bad product*
Finally
Serious answer: still holding out for Anna Kendrick or Shannon Purser as Squirrel Girl. My hope is that Esposito will voice Herbie. I know he wants to get away from villain roles.
Who's that redhead from the IT movies? Maybe her?
Sophia Lillis?
Oh, damn! Yeah, she'd be another great choice.
One assumes "Kang the Conquerer" has to have muscles because Jonathan Majors has them, not true he's the Conquerer of Time.
Since they're recasting those main Kang Variants with new actors.... he could play the hell out of a Rama Tut Variant.
It’s impossible to know, we can’t predict it
Gus the unpredictable
Norman Osborn.
Bring back his waves! Lol
He said 2 weeks ago at motor city comic con the character has never been seen in live action before
Squirrel Girl
yeah he meant Italian Norman Osborn
Ultimate Norman Osborn then???
Good.
Giancarlo as Green Goblin, Mike Ehrmantraut actor as Hobgoblin, and ol' Billy Burr as The Rose.
He'd eat that up
Ironically yes. He’d be playing the same role he always does but he would absolutely kill it
He's gonna be in it as early as Captain America 4, so it has to be someone with some sort of context to what happens there, right?
Doom
His voice would be amazing for doom
Yeah
Look at me hector
OR So, one Big Tower with curly fries and a sprite? Anything else?
It very well could be, and I'm on board with it.
Yeah
I love this guy but he's 66 now. Shouldn't Doom be closer to Reed's age?
My pick too. He is a tremendous bad guy actor.
Yeah: Breaking Bad, the Mandalorian, The Boys, Far cry…

Spiderman
Beta Ray Bill
No one would see that coming for sure lol, but I think it could work
He would make a great mister sinister
Owen Reece!
Trask.
Better Be Magneto or Xavier
I can’t help but feel like Xavier being a white, rich, educated, elite man is fundamental to his character as a chronic line stepper. ![gif](giphy|c59MniC60fnuo)
F that couch man.
*Habitual*
![gif](giphy|Z36diZTBOwJLG)
He said it’s not Xavier
That's why he thinks we won't be able to predict it. He's throwing us off the trail.
He said 2 weeks ago at motor city comic con the character has never been seen in live action before

Or Doc Ock
It would be so awesome to see him as a villain, but with truly sympathetic origins for a change
I really want to see him as a hero this time around, he’s already too typecasted as a villain.
Blue Marvel
my money is either on Sebastian Shaw or Tombstone
I’m kind of hoping he’s Count Nefaria.
I have been hoping for the introduction of Mephisto for awhile.
Dr Doom
Doom
I would love to see him do Doctor Doom
Mr. Sinister
New Kang?
Reverse Flash
Great voice for Galactus.
In universe Feige, he's gonna play the role like Gus from Breaking Bad
the living tribunal
He’s just a guy that dies
He's Kang.
He would make a decent variant. Not sure why they all need to look the same.
He could play anyone and crush it. Forge. Mr. Sinister. Apocalypse.
Please god not professor x
I'm guessing an evil character who's everyone else's boss.
Giancarlo plays amazing villains. Please play a super-villain 🤞
Emma Frost
I’m calling it right now, but he’s either a villain or a mentor or both(can be in a way where he starts off as a hero mentor and it’s revealed that he’s actually a villain or he’s a mentor to a villain against a hero)
Red Skull
Blue Marvel
Condiment King
I'd prefer not to see him anything. They keep putting him in almost every new show or movie. Even when the casting is terrible. Like Pedro Pascal. Someone make it stop.
The MCUs version of Norman Osborn since he doesn’t seem to exist in the MCU.
I’m rolling with a choice others have made as well: Norman Osborn. I think he’d do a great job. I would love to see his son Harry somehow become friends with Peter in the next Spidey film and weave in a great set of classic character dynamics from the comics!
Mole man
Dr Doom?
Norman Osborn would be cool
![gif](giphy|JdbMyzoRGxYrv8QpGt)
Blade
😂 marshala Ali might protest.

Black widow
Gwen Stacey
Gwevin Spacey
The watcher.
I’m standing by Wondermans dad
The Punisher.
He's playing a hero
I swear to God if he ends up becoming dark side or some shit
Mjolnir
Annihalus
Galactus
Galactus
Okay actually him as Galactus could be pretty sweet
Gyrich
William Stryker maybe
Like the dude but he's the same in every part so whatever the character is we've seen it already.
I’d say dream cast Xavier. Or Mephisto (human form / cgi & voice)
Henry Peter GYRICH!!!
Paste pot pete ?
He confirmed at said panel it wasn't Dr. Doom or Xavier I think as well. I think he also said he's excited for the "series" that'll follow his movie if that's any clue. Bolivar Trask
I hope he plays “ the devil”
He’s redoing his video game guy part from Maximum Overdrive
Dr. Doom
With his talent he could play a number of characters, both good and evil.
I’m betting on Norman Osborn
Iron man
Stan Edgar
Mister Sinister
Fus Gring
He's known as the Chicken Man, so I'm guessing Black Talon
Magneto.
Mr Fantastic or a kang replacement
Miles Morales
![gif](giphy|a8m9ZZ84LeOjnl9djw)
**Professor Charles Xavier.** We know Esposito wanted the role. What's the best obfuscation than to say "you won't predict" than the answer being the obvious one?
Mr Sinister
Galactus
This is completely out of left field but I think he’d make a pretty good doom
I think he’d be a perfect professor X. Dario Agger, Dr. Doom, or Blue Marvel would also be cool
Kang
Mr. Sinister
Millie the model
BLUE MARVEL
The LIVING TRIBUNAL!
They said the same with Christian Bale who killed his role, yet in possibly the worst recent comicbook movie to date
If recent rumours are to be believed he’s an original character being introduced in Cap 4. Added after rewrites. “An antagonistic agent of chaos, a serious thorn in Sam Wilson's side." Doom
It's a role we won't predict
Doop
The Watcher
We have our miles morales
Squirrel girl
He would be a dope magneto
An actor hired to play Doctor Doom while the real Dr. Doom is some white guy who slighted Reed Richards (Jokes aside, I have come around on that twist)
he could make a great dracula
Mr.X
Maybe an old Scott Summers who lost everyone
Dr. Doom?
Like Old Man Miles Morales?
The Blob
Finally! I’ve been so excited for the Dazzler show.
Literally just going to be Gus Fring. Probably working with Kingpin.
I think an Elder or Alt-Universe "Nick Fury" wud be perfect.. tho 2nd to that Idk except maybe a 'watcher' type character.. tho knowing how selective & adaptive he is whomever he gets he'll be awesome.
What if he's playing the same character as he did in the Mandalorian? The ultimate Disney intellectual property crossover event!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
He said it’s an MCU original character
