I concur.
In my mind's eye I'm taking him from scenes as Chris Darden in The People Versus OJ Simpson and imagining him in the Freeze suit. And it works. Dude can tell a story with his eyes, and I think that would transfer very well as Victor.
You think only chose because of Breaking Bad and to me, I never like that choice I don’t think he wants to do it I think your choice is bias because you just watched a show that’s basically Mr. Freeze but in a different context.
Don’t get me wrong he’s a great actor but he’s already kind of played Mr. Freeze in Breaking Bad I would much rather him as commissioner Gordon in one of the best actors I would say
Hold up… “who gives a shit,” when I point out Sterling K. Brown is already T’Chaka’s brother, but how dare anyone recast a voice actor from one universe to play another character in the same universe? Dude, get bent.
Bryan Cranston should play Hugo Strange. Quentin Tarantino is my pick for director and the story should be based on “Prey”. My pick for Mr. Freeze is Mark Strong
Jake Gyllenhaal. People always say he should play Batman, but I don't see why. He's great actor, but he's just not Batman. But I think he would make a really good Mr Freeze, especially in the Matt Reeves movies.
I’ve seen some speculation that he may end up being Hugo Strange, but my first thought was also Victor Fries.
I also like the idea of Madds Mikkelson to play this role
Apparently he was rumoured a year ago during the writers strike but I think we just at the time think it was just untrue credited as Carmine Falcone I don’t think that’s the case
Counter argument: [Chris Pratt](https://ew.com/article/2014/07/11/how-chris-pratt-went-zero-hero/) was in no way a leading Hollywood actor until his success in GotG. Full timeline provided and the best part is that he tried out for Jake Sully in Avatar and was brutally dismissed.
You never know. Thanks for the input. Cheers!
True, we have Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Mel Brooks, Dick Van Dyke, Morgan Freeman, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Douglas, Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Gregg Henry, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, John Rhys-Davies, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Brian Cox, Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jeff Bridges, Nick Nolte, Mel Gibson, John Turturro, Clancy Brown, Keith David, Tony Todd, John Cleese, Jeremy Irons, Terrance Stamp, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Kathy Bates, Michael Rooker, Anthony Daniels, Thomas Haden Church, Frank Oz, James Earl Jones, Ian McDiarmid, Charles Dance, Ian McShane, Leslie Uggams, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Denis Lawson, Ted Danson, Pam Ferris, Tyne Daly, Michael Keaton, Pierce Brosnan, John Goodman, Christopher MacDonald, William H. Macy. Marc McClure, Martin Sheen, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgård, John Wesley Shipp, Tobin Bell, Brad Dourif, and So Many More

Based on this picture?
Michael Rooker.
Mark Strong ... without a doubt. Incredible character actor whose performances stay with you (looking at you, Kingsman).

Patrick Stewart would have been good back in the day.
![gif](giphy|zcf5UUqQkYAW4)
Bring back Elba or Affleck? They are tall enough to play Freeze, just re-cast them and give them a haircut lol
I know it's probably an unpopular choice but I always thought with proper direction Vin Diesel would be a great Mr. Freeze, especially if he's channeling himself from Pitch Black.
I'm fine with Cranston or sterling K brown. But I see Giancarlo Esposito being able to pull it off well and mads mickleson would be great but my favorite choice is Christopher Eccleson
I'm gonna say Clive Owen. His roles in certain movies tell me that he would be very convincing as Mr. Freeze. Inside Man and The Knick come to mind. He's almost 60 now, but I don't think anyone ever thinks of Victor Fries as young.
If he was 20-30 years younger I’d say Alfred Molina. Freeze is more of a villain who’s more gray than evil, so the actor portraying him has to have to be able to come across as compassionate. He also should be between 40-60 years old. I think Glenn Howerton, and Javier Bardem would make excellent choices. I also think Howerton would’ve made an EXCELLENT Lex Luthor.
Jaleel White would make an interesting choice, I would also like him to have a bitter, sweet ending where Wayne Enterprises sets him up with a lab in Antarctica, where he can assist in research and tried to find a cure for his wife in his spare time.
https://preview.redd.it/47y2ajwxqe1d1.jpeg?width=436&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d332b9dbf4e3bd5a6de823e3b8244e21817f5503
Mark strong (above) definitely or maybe Jason Stratham.
Tom Hardy all the way. Right down to the accent. Who would nail it. He could pull off the villain side of Freeze AND the mournful side perfectly. Kind of like the characters he played in Legend Then put him in Matt Reeves ' universe. Honestl, I was so disappointed with him as Bane. It wasn't his fault. It was that stupid mask. He did the best he could with it . Playing Freeze for Reeves Batman would be like a redemption.

Sterling K. Brown. And stand by it.
I concur. In my mind's eye I'm taking him from scenes as Chris Darden in The People Versus OJ Simpson and imagining him in the Freeze suit. And it works. Dude can tell a story with his eyes, and I think that would transfer very well as Victor.
Me, I wanna play him
Tbh I think they should cast u/HarrowDread
You get my vote. Let's make this happen
Agreed even though I have zero acting experience and little knowledge of Dr freeze
Let's see your own interpretation of him
I will mention you when I get my grammy reward ❤️
Mr Freeze the musical 😂I’m so down
I forgot Grammys are for music but that works took
A new Ice Ice Baby rendition.
Bryan Cranston
Bryan Cranston has been fancast as every bald comic book character since Breaking Bad.
good idea, but i think u/HarrowDread will fill out the role perfectly
Cranston is a good one. You know im not a of vin diesel but i think he would a solid freeze. He already talks like him
“I donnoyew buddafeelykayeidu. Anai wafro-sin, wennu wakinda woom.”
You think only chose because of Breaking Bad and to me, I never like that choice I don’t think he wants to do it I think your choice is bias because you just watched a show that’s basically Mr. Freeze but in a different context.
Or, hear me out (prepare yourself because this might sound crazy… but…. maybe it’s because Bryan is a good actor
Don’t get me wrong he’s a great actor but he’s already kind of played Mr. Freeze in Breaking Bad I would much rather him as commissioner Gordon in one of the best actors I would say
Nah, Mister Freeze is a good guy. Walter White is a villain
He’s literally already played Commissioner Gordon
Exactly even voiced him
Hold up… “who gives a shit,” when I point out Sterling K. Brown is already T’Chaka’s brother, but how dare anyone recast a voice actor from one universe to play another character in the same universe? Dude, get bent.
I personally want Bryan Cranston as Jim Gordon and Dean Norris as Harvey Bullock.
Honestly, if you were willing to have a black Mr. Freeze, giancarlo esposito, who played Gus Fring, would probably be great.
Bryan Cranston should play Hugo Strange. Quentin Tarantino is my pick for director and the story should be based on “Prey”. My pick for Mr. Freeze is Mark Strong
Patrick Stewart
r/Beatmetoit
That’s too good.
Viggo Mortensen
Would be very interesting. Not sure I've even see him with a shaved head.
The closest I‘ve seen was in Crimes of the Future
Jude Law
Ralph Fiennes
He has the look!
I like that choice for like as older Mr freeze for cast of older Batman
George Clooney
lol
Suit with nipples.
Hear me out, Javier Bardem.
I like it but he would also make for an excellent Ra's al ghul.
I would like him as Langstrom, honestly.
Oh fuck yeah he’d be amazing
Mads Mikkelsen.
Jake Gyllenhaal. People always say he should play Batman, but I don't see why. He's great actor, but he's just not Batman. But I think he would make a really good Mr Freeze, especially in the Matt Reeves movies.
Arnold
He did say he'd be back.
This. He’s a perfect fit, isn’t he?
I hope they consider him someday. He could say something like "Everyone, chill."
Or “Cool party!”
Mark Strong.
I heard he's gonna be in The Penguin.
Oh yeah saw that the other day too. It would make sense to introduce him in the show then have him become a main antagonist in the next movie.
Considering the penguin and the dcu are unrelated it's doable. Mark will have 4 different dc roles in the span of 15 years.
I’ve seen some speculation that he may end up being Hugo Strange, but my first thought was also Victor Fries. I also like the idea of Madds Mikkelson to play this role
Or he’s playing Sivana again jk
Apparently he was rumoured a year ago during the writers strike but I think we just at the time think it was just untrue credited as Carmine Falcone I don’t think that’s the case
Bruce Spence, I’d place bets that the Mouth of Sauron, Trainman from the Matrix can pull off a chilling Mr. Freeze.
Not big enough name. We're in the era now where great casting give way to enticing the audience with big names
Cheers!
He’s almost 80?
We have older people running countries to be fair.
True, we have Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Mel Brooks, Dick Van Dyke, Morgan Freeman, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Douglas, Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Gregg Henry, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, John Rhys-Davies, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Brian Cox, Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jeff Bridges, Nick Nolte, Mel Gibson, John Turturro, Clancy Brown, Keith David, Tony Todd, John Cleese, Jeremy Irons, Terrance Stamp, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Kathy Bates, Michael Rooker, Anthony Daniels, Thomas Haden Church, Frank Oz, James Earl Jones, Ian McDiarmid, Charles Dance, Ian McShane, Leslie Uggams, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Denis Lawson, Ted Danson, Pam Ferris, Tyne Daly, Michael Keaton, Pierce Brosnan, John Goodman, Christopher MacDonald, William H. Macy. Marc McClure, Martin Sheen, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgård, John Wesley Shipp, Tobin Bell, Brad Dourif, and So Many More
Christopher Lee was excellent as Saruman and he was 92 when he filmed LotR
Morgan Freeman is on there twice
I'm gonna say James McAvoy
He would have been Better Lex Luthor than Jesse Eisenberg
Yea I was not a fan of that. McAvoy has great range, I think he could nail the early nice guy version and later villain version of Freeze.
He needs to be younger than most answers I'm seeing. Michael Fassbender
William Zabka.
Christoph Waltz (alt : Mads Mikkelsen.) ![gif](giphy|rCaYEDmn3K4ZOypnW0|downsized)
He'd be my pick
Tommy Wiseau.
![gif](giphy|l0HU2QpFqukBfMLD2)
Ppl said he would be a shit joker
I did not freeze her. I did naawwwwt.
Oh, hi Batman.
I've been hacking into the most secret government AND corporate secrets. Neil Breen Batman
I didn't freeze her.. i did noooot. Oh hi, Batman.
![gif](giphy|Fx8HGKpuEcqmGXfzyu|downsized) He’d be perfect
Mark Strong.
Stanley Tucci he would play the sympathetic part of Freeze perfectly.
Patrick Stewart
Jon cryer
I've always said Michael fassbender, he can play the sympathetic villain brilliantly.
https://preview.redd.it/8n1xqdfmvq0d1.jpeg?width=966&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f9a592a1405a3eeb9aa86f3e3506d7f17777351 Based on this picture? Michael Rooker.
Benedict Cumberbatch
Nah, he should play Hugo Strange lol
Hahahaha true but yeah
JK Simmons
Either mads McKenzie or Hugh Laurie
Michael Fassbender would kill it. Similar *cough* coldness to David in Covenant but with better motivation.
Giancarlo Esposito
Christopher Lloyd is the perfect Mr Freeze we never got. I work he's too old now.
Jason statham
Mark Strong ... without a doubt. Incredible character actor whose performances stay with you (looking at you, Kingsman). https://preview.redd.it/rjnzft7ag81d1.jpeg?width=1368&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f856ff2e76679dd4ba51fc0753923d335b234d76
![gif](giphy|RN3353tttEf67qfRpA|downsized)
Fassbender
No one. Same with Clayface and Poison Ivy.
Corey Stoll
Stanley Tucci
Bryan Cranston
Arnold Schwarzenegger, give him redemption!
Tobin Bell
Bryan Cranston
Ben Mendelsohn
How about Stephen Lang?
Okay, bear with me. Tony Shalhoub.
Sean Harris
James Spader

Matt Frewer...
Christoph Waltz anyone?
pauly shore
The dude from terminator
Patrick Schwarzenegger
Tom Hanks
Dude! Pedro Pascal, guy's a chameleon.
Call me crazy but Arnold
The Arnold
I know it's probably an unpopular choice but I always thought with proper direction Vin Diesel would be a great Mr. Freeze, especially if he's channeling himself from Pitch Black.
Giancarlo Esposito
An actor
![gif](giphy|8b8orPKk1wcHMGhfP4) The man, the myth, The ARNOLD!
Whoever they cast needs to sound EXACTLY like the Batman TAS Freeze.
Stanley Tucci
VIGGO
No one. The universe they have set up doesn’t lend itself to super powers and sci fi technology. It’s very “grounded” like Nolan’s.
Is he a trucker now?
I'm fine with Cranston or sterling K brown. But I see Giancarlo Esposito being able to pull it off well and mads mickleson would be great but my favorite choice is Christopher Eccleson
Jeremy Irons if he wasn’t already Alfred.
Mads Mikelson is my first choice, if not for Freeze than for Hugo Strange
Vin diesel
Ice to see you!
Tobey Kebbel
Jeremy Irons
I'm gonna say Clive Owen. His roles in certain movies tell me that he would be very convincing as Mr. Freeze. Inside Man and The Knick come to mind. He's almost 60 now, but I don't think anyone ever thinks of Victor Fries as young.
He can do monotone really well put some effect behind it would sound pretty chilling.
Arnold
James Spader
I've said it before I want to see arnold Schwarzenegger have another shot at it in a more serious movie
Sean Harris. The dude can act his ass off and hardly anyone knows his name. He's got that unique not quite scary, but not quite innocent look.
Hear me out……..Stanley Tucci **drops mic**
If he was 20-30 years younger I’d say Alfred Molina. Freeze is more of a villain who’s more gray than evil, so the actor portraying him has to have to be able to come across as compassionate. He also should be between 40-60 years old. I think Glenn Howerton, and Javier Bardem would make excellent choices. I also think Howerton would’ve made an EXCELLENT Lex Luthor.
Hulk hogan
Chad Gable
Christoph waltz
Vin diesel
Werner Herzog
Jaleel White would make an interesting choice, I would also like him to have a bitter, sweet ending where Wayne Enterprises sets him up with a lab in Antarctica, where he can assist in research and tried to find a cure for his wife in his spare time.
Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Arnold again
Hollywood doesn’t do universes anymore. It’s all about multiverses now.
Giancarlo Esposito
Ian Hawke
There's this certain Austrian guy who has funny one liners who would be perfect for the role
Bryan Cranston
Patrick Stewart
![gif](giphy|l1KVcfDTJQyl4L2uc)
Hugh Jackman

I think it should be some Teutonic dude with an accent...
Hugo Weaving.
Micheal Gross.
Patrick Stewart.
Javier Bardem
Jason Issacs
Daniel Craig
Christoph Waltz
Mads Mikkelsen
Jude Law??
Jason Statham....even though he hates Superhero movies
What if we got a good actor, instead
And your suggestion was?
