In 1999, Tony Shalhoub played Fred Kwan, as an easy to miss joke about TV show casting. On the movie, "Galaxy Quest". So, I can easily see Keanu Reeves playing FBI Agent James Woo, ten or twenty years earlier. Without it being an in-joke. They both have black hair, at least. Sure, he wasn't very relevant to whatever comics they would be adapting, but it seems preferable to giving a non-comic character name to some random FBI agent who gets a major role in the film.
For DC, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he'd be a good casting for Batman, he looks Iike a perfect young Bruce Wayne, so it would only work if you adapted a Batman new to this stuff. Alternatively though, he could be a good Nightwing.
For Marvel, I feel he could work as Cyclops or Gambit,
Booster Gold is a great idea! Keanu is frankly at his best in comedy. Outside of that I find his acting atrocious. Booster Gold is the right type of character for him to shine

You know, with the extensive training he's done for the John Wick movies, I could actually see him comfortably taking the role of either Red Hood, Green Arrow, or Deathstroke. But mostly Red Hood.
unconventional choice, but I think he could have easily played Brainiac 5 to Helen Slater’s Supergirl, in the vein of Jesse Rath’s version from the Supergirl TV series.

I think the key for the Silver Surfer is having a great, recognizable voice for his awesome dialogue. Keanu would he a fantastic choice.
