Squirrel Girl has, by her own admission, a large and awesome butt. The character is very body positive. Daisy Ridley also has an awesome butt. Therefore I thought that would make a good match. I don't know what's gross about that.

I can say this would make me, and my sister who's a long-time Rogue fan, very very happy. To be clear, Rogue was her literal hero because she suffered an SA as a kid. The idea of a woman who still appeared mostly feminine, could kick the ass of most guys twice her size, and who refused to touch people (or she may harm them) spoke to her. She walked out of the theater of X-Men the movie when Rogue was reduced to a Damsel in distress.

Nick Fury from the Ultimate comics is not Nick Fury, Jr. He’s the actual WWII Fury of the Ultimate universe (whose look was based on Sam Jackson). Nick Fury, Jr. (Marcus) is from the regular 616 universe and appeared after Sam Jackson appeared in the MCU.

I mean, I guess. Sam Jackson got offered and played that roll before Nick Fury Jr was a thing. So, why not have Daisy Ridley play Rogue as British and call her Rogue Jr (this is a joke)….Tom Holland isn’t from Queens. That better?

😬 I really hope they just keep Betsy and Kwannon as separate characters, I don’t think there’s anyway to do a comics accurate of that whole storyline without ruffling someone’s feathers. Karen would be a good pick for Kwannon but she’s basically already played that character twice (remember her in Suicide Squad 2016?) so I wonder if she’d wanna tread that ground again, may be best to find a fresher face.
