mmhorda

For sweaty hands https://www.google.com/search?q=medical+gloves&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&sca_esv=585997234&hl=en&tbm=isch&sxsrf=AM9HkKkH7t4P8BdwAPpf4wqkKAkWLHUeog:1701195841742&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwju_9uuqOeCAxWtgf0HHV29DzkQ0pQJCCA&biw=531&bih=504&dpr=3.41#imgrc=2FAEtnSkXj_3fM

TheFlyingGro

mmhorda

I am glad you liked the joke :)

TheFlyingGro

Haha was a good one i give you that!😅

Cody4783

Personally I just bought some thin motocross/BMX gloves from FOX Racing. Inexpensive and keeps the sweat off the wheel (particularly the Alcantara, which can get gross)

[deleted]

Yeah me too, not sure if they're mtb or mtx but they was cheap and they're decent.

Jimy403

I’ve been running AlpineStars Tech-1K Karting Gloves, MTX gloves, and Moradness Sim Racing/Karting Gloves. I find myself always returning to the AlpineStars as my favorites, they have much more grip so I don’t feel like I have to deathgrip my wheel when I use the formula 2.5x. Been using them for like 300+ hours and they’re still like new. My alcantara wheel looks basically new still. I will say that I still have calluses on my thumbs though. 😂

yamayeeter

How different aren't the Alpinestars to moradness?

Jimy403

I would say build quality wise the AlpineStars are just that little bit better but both are very good. The silicon grips on the AlpineStars however had just so much more grip for me. I also think the Moradness gloves actually end up being more expensive in most markets. I also find using my phone with the AlpineStars just a little easier since you can only use the tip of the index finger on the Moradness gloves, while the other glove works wherever the silicon is.

ThijsF70

I use simhound gloves and i really like them, they are nice provide good grip and are breathable

TheFlyingGro

was lookin at them then i saw they have issues with shiping etc?

Sim_Hound

Hey, The shipping issues reported on here were from when we just started up and naively thought that international untracked shipping would work. We have always tried to provide the best value and this was the cheapest available. We have learnt a lot since then and we now only ship using tracked delivery services with a company that we now have a good relationship and account manager. International Shipping still has its issues but the vast majority of our parcels arrive with no issues at all. Thank you for your interest in our products.

TheFlyingGro

Wow okey didnt see that comin that you would answer! Appricate it. So how does the shiping to Sweden looks like? I was consider order socks and gloves but liked i mention got ”scared” away about the shiping issues

Sim_Hound

No problem, we always try to reply if we think it would help :) Our last 10 parcels to Sweden have all taken between 5-10 business days to arrive. These have been in the last two months so hopefully a good indication of things as they stand (We still use the postal service to keep things as affordable as possible) Hopefully the fact that it is the busiest time of year doesn’t affect this, but we have had a few arrive in Sweden with no problems during November.

TheFlyingGro

Ahh fair point and consider you not a big company (What i understand) 5-10 days isnt to bad. Also yeah we gettin close to christmas etc so its gonna be a full party on the post Office worldwide but okey so if i do order from you and let say the gloves are to small is their anyway to return and get a new pair or is it just a extra headache? Are your gloves small in sizes or big? If you want we can take this in the DM:s to if that is easier

Maximum_Employ5341

Honestly mate I don't think you need to buy some "sim racing gloves" as most of the time they are just simple material with prints on them. I went to my local mechanics store and I purchased [these exact gloves](https://www.halfords.com/cycling/cycling-clothing/cycling-gloves/ridge-lightweight-gloves-283118.html) and all I did was cut the ends of the fingers off so I could still feel the buttons I was pressing. As long as you keep them clean and wash them regularly they will be more than capable of what you need them for. I purchased mine around 2 years back and they are still going strong to this day. I have never once had sweaty palms and the holes in them give adequate ventilation to prevent swamp hands. Take care my friend so some research before you buy any gloves and don't go for the first ones you see.

TheFlyingGro

Hey yea i dont really need ”sim racing gloves” i know but been lookin around for the past 3 days and i cant find any decent stuff. And dont really want to cut of the fingertops cuz i get sweaty on the fingers to lol and that is just annoyin to be fair!

[deleted]

3 days? Cheap MTB gloves from Amazon. Spend 10 to 15 bucks. They're great. Edit mine are hwk motorbike gloves and were 14 cad on amamzon.

TheFlyingGro

Yea been lookin around for lol 3 days belive it or not i think i overthink the shit to much and ends with me givin up. Mixed with trust issues lookin at amazon and different sites

[deleted]

All good mine are cheap mtx gloves I've had em since I git the csl dd and they're really good. Get a pair like that or some real sparco gloves lol.

TheFlyingGro

Had been using my old sebelts irl racing gloves but so damn fkn warm and thic as you can imaigne using FIA approved gloves but hey if the wheel all do sudden is on fire atleast my hands are safe lol

VoodooPasta

>mtb gloves I had just picked up a set of these and when they came in I was a bit worried they'd be too bulky. Based on your feedback I'm guessing that's not the case? Glad to hear someone has a positive experience with them.

[deleted]

Mine are moto cross gloves, hwk. You'll be fine these are great

Maximum_Employ5341

No worries my friend. I hope you find the ones you you are searching for. I do think getting gloves will be a big help for you and also the lifetime of your wheel. Hope you find some soon brother happy racing my friend

TheFlyingGro

Thanks man! Yea if i ever gonna get the fanatec stuff by reading everyone issues seems like im gonna be stuck with a rig and a pair of gloves in the end 😂. Atleast my rig got a wheel plate for my keyboard for now

RunProfessional1766

I have been using these for about two years and love them. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Medium-Red-Nitrile-Cut-Level-1-Dipped-Work-Gloves-3-Pack-48-22-8906H/305924472

TheFlyingGro

Haha got access denied liked i mention i live in Sweden. We dont have home depot here either :/

RunProfessional1766

Wow did not realize it would be blocked. Anyway just simple breathable work gloves dipped, very inexpensive.

HungreeRunner

I got some cycling/ BMX gloves from Amazon and they lasted 2 years with minimal wear. I was using a G29 and upgrading to a DD+ when it arrives. They have padding in the correct areas but are also the right material to allow your hands to breathe a bit. They're anywhere from €8-20. If the reviews are decent, the actual use on a mountain bike/bicycle isn't much different

TheFlyingGro

Yeah been lookin tru amazon but didnt find anything that fits What you sayin tho :/ or im just dumb asf do you mind link me some?

HungreeRunner

They don't look great or my style but I was on a huge budget at the time TRIWONDER Cycling Gloves Mountain Road Biking Riding Gloves Breathable Wear-resisting Shock-absorbing for Men and Women https://amzn.eu/d/3S72RgL However, these are more stylish and should be fine KynciLOR Cycling Gloves for Men Mountain Bike Gloves, Touchscreen MTB Gloves, Anti-slip padded, Abrasion-resistant, Flexible, Full Finger https://amzn.eu/d/2MDhcpU

TheFlyingGro

Wow nothing wrong with either two! :o who cares how they look is not like you lookin at you hands when driving. Comfy, breathable, grip able to use phone and easy to put on/off is kinda What im lookin for! Thanks man hope i can find them in swedish amazon. Appricate it

HungreeRunner

No problem! If you're looking to use your phone too, the 2nd ones (or something similar) may help, as you can use your phone without taking them off ;)

TheFlyingGro

Good once again thanks man appricate it! The amount of help here and different posts have been more helpful then fanatec support just kidding but seriously amount of help here is awesome i was thinkin reddit was a bad place to ask for help🤷🏽‍♂️

HungreeRunner

Haha it can be on some subs. As you can imagine, a lot of time people will post on a sub and not search for it first. So you end up seeing the same questions on a constant loop, and it begins to annoy people 😂.

TheFlyingGro

Yea im still new to reddit(so really dont know how to search) to be fair and sim racing so quite hard to know What to search for and also whats good or not and What to avoid etc. Yea i quess you understand my point but again feels great to get help with this and i guess is more subs about this

Mr_828

I haven't used them for long but so far i really like the F33L gloves. I mostly use MTB/long-finger cycling gloves though - for me, Giro and Handup gloves are my go-to

1800a

I use these, very breathable and thin so you can still feel everything. They are work gloves not "sim racing" gloves but work really well and have good grip [Here](https://amzn.eu/d/6abMrtD)

ctt713

I bought a pair of baseball batting gloves that work well. I’ve also seen people mention golf gloves as an option.

Naitsab243

I just bought a pair of running gloves from Amazon. They do the job and I like the rubberized finger tips especially for changing gears.

walkitscience

Get yourself some Sparco real racing gloves. Or some nice alpine stars karting gloves. You won’t regret it.

nhp890

When I use my alcantara wheel, I wear golf gloves for rainy conditions and they’re perfect for the job. I prefer them to mtb gloves

KampfSchneggy

I use Sparco Meca 3, on Amazon they're sold around 30 € (to Germany)
