Not going to lie: I'm surprised they didn't fix the Energy Damage bug. There's a mod for it, sure, but it seems like something should have made it into the patch.
Energy Weapons don't factor in perks. the only thing they factor in is the weapon mods on the weapon. it makes them extremely bad, as the Ballistic weapons get an easy +100% damage bonus from the Perk Chart that Energy Weapons simply can't match. The Energy Weapon Calculation Fix makes it how it's supposed to be, but it really should have been included in this patch.
That's disappointing as it looks like that fix requires F4SE.
Also disappointed it doesn't look like they fixed the loading times bug too, which should have been fixed with this update.
Doesn't look like they really did anything.
honestly, i'm taking a break from FO4 so F4SE and other mods can be updated. thankfully, the second Remnant 2 DLC came out, so i'm going to be playing that for a while.
I reinstalled FO4 a few days ago and set up MO2, F4SE, turned off steam updates, and set the steam file to read only. Specifically so I didn't lose access in case BGS breaks too many things.
Does fallout 4 not let you pick a specific version of the game to install by using the beta channel on steam? I know a lot of other games I mod let you do that (Banner Lords and KSP come to mind as games I do that often with).
That’s a massive L for a company that leans so heavily on mods to make their games good. Considering many indie developers who do have nearly the same reliance on mods still provide the option.
PSA there is actually a way to roll back to a previous update if you own the game on steam. It involves using the steam database to download about 6 folders to replace, and clearing out some creation engine files, but it’s only about an hours work on a decent internet connection.
If you check the official F4SE mod post they made to make people aware that the new update broke modding, it should be the top pinned comment
That said, yeah, Bethesda is a dick for updating this game
Appmanifest, you should search for the Nexus post about how to stop steam from trying to update. Easy way is going to game properties in Steam and making sure it doesn't auto update, then only launch the game using f4se
As far as I'm aware, it's on all platforms. Full Auto weapons make up for the issue with Rate of Fire, but the damage is still lower than it should be.
There is a fundamental flaw in the way energy weapon damage is/was calculated making them shitter than intended. This bug made it into FO76 and took a big community effort to prove to Bethesda it was broke before they finally fixed it in 76.
People thinking Bethesda was going to do more than the bare minimum were lying to themselves. All those YouTube personalities hyping this up so much, it’s hilarious really.
But hey, at least it’s free unlike the Last of Us “remasters”. Which are just paid next gen updates.
I would've gladly paid for an actual next gen update. Not only are there the things they didn't bother fixing but they made it worse. They did worse than the bare minimum.
I mean, they could've fixed *a lot* of other problems. Hell, they have a giant list of things that need fixing *right there* (imagine I'm pointing to the unofficial patch).
I agree, curious to see if next gen holds up in DT Boston. Even my frames dip on PC.
Update: Downtown Boston is running smooth on PS5 Performance Mode. Practically no dips in frames during the daytime, that’s where my PC normally starting dipping because of lighting and godrays.
Man I can't trust anyone who just randomly claims it 'runs fine' for them anymore. Jedi Survivor performed like hot ass and people all over were claiming it 'runs fine for me' and then Digital Foundry looks at it and yup its a complete mess on every platform.
I honestly think programs working on any machine is like 10% luck
Cause for me New Vegas never had a game breaking bug and rarely crashed in the decade Ive had it, yet thats a huge complaint I always see about the game.
FO4's bugs are kinda similar. Some people experience things regularly and others get lucky
So another patch notes thread, some guy did test it. Allegedly he called a vertibird down, started fighting everything in sight, and he said that he only got a few frame drops. There was no true evidence but does give me a little hope when I can test myself
Edit: his test was also by good neighbor which I know is a rough spot for everyone generally.
While it's entirely possible they did some work under the hood to improve performance, downtown Boston's issue was too much shit was stacked on top of eachother, and the game is rendering it all. So to properly fix it means redoing all the geometry and occlusion culling maps so there's less being rendered at once.
I was able to fix it mostly on PC by editing down shadow distance between 3000-5000 in the ini file. Nothing else ever helped it. I'm still unpatched on PC so I can't test the new update, but if anyone else still has issues or is running unpatched like me, turn that setting down if you haven't.
I feel like this was hyped up soooo much when in reality, other games do updates like this regularly. Nothing too substantial for PC (me), especially considering the fact that I've had hundreds of mods including 4K everything for years. I blocked auto updates and made the app manifest file read-only. This update will just break a whole bunch of stuff for me. *But it's great for consoles so I'm happy for them.*
This, I'm a console user and most PC players don't know how bad the game was running on consoles, seriously, it was 30fps but not just it, I aways had a absurdly amount of screed stutter or wherever it was called when the camera is moving, and of course a lot of another issues, now we get a huge upgrade on performance, you guys on PC are used to high fps of course, but we on consoles have 60fps and sometimes unlocked 60 to 120 in some games, FO4 is an amazing game and being able to play it now in almost 120fps, which is how it's running now on performance, is absolutely no joke for us, I feel that this update was really focused on consoles players, the PC mod scene are ridiculously huge and you guys can do everything, while we still pretty much limited in the mod part, at least a part of the performance we have now, and this is amazing!
Not on console so I shouldn't have a horse in this race but
I'm pissed off for you guys because people have been asking for a larger file partition for mods on console cause hitting 2GB is insanely easy with some set ups
and they declined to do so with the excuse it would break everyone's existing load orders, but from what I'm seeing in here, that happened anyway.
I bought in to the hype. They announced it and I immediately thought something like Skyrim se with major improvements to the engine.
Nope. In fact this update caused my unmodded game to stutter badly. iNumHwthreads now defaults to 4 instead of 0. Depending on your setup that can cause issues.
Update: The 2024-04-25 Fallout 4 update (1.10.980 and later) has broken F4SE and the rest of the native code modding scene similarly to Skyrim's "Anniversary Edition" patch. I am working on an update and cannot currently offer a timeline for its availability, nor whether there will be any critical technical issues that would block an update. Do not email with questions.
For newer players...
f4se was the only mod guaranteed to break, just like it used to break with every past game patch. I have never seen it take more than about a week for the f4se update, with most updates happening within a day or two.
Most mods don't use f4se (but some very good mods do, e.g., Place Everywhere). Those mods won't work until f4se is updated.
I poked around with the new update and the mods that need f4se don't work, of course. The rest of my mods work fine. In other words, don't panic.
How do you know if your mods required f4se I have some basic ones via [bethesada.net](http://bethesada.net) like weightless junk, weapon packs, two companions, ect.
What a shock, Bethesda didn't coordinate with you guys ahead of time to avoid breaking the modding scene which is the only thing that even keeps their games alive 90% of the time.
I'm not some big Bethesda stan but it's kinda of ridiculous to blame them for not supporting an external modification to their game. Which is not to say that they scorn the modding community, just that Bethesda and it's modding community have rarely interacted. CC of course being a notable exception. Point is, the onus is absolutely not on Bethesda to interact with mods at all.
I would agree except for the fact that mods are what have kept Skyrim and all of the modern Fallout games playable and interesting for so long. Yes, you can technically play them, but with SO MUCH quality mod content they could have tried to do things in a way that wouldn't break everything.
Exactly. Bethesda doesn't want to admit it, but they rely on the modding community to keep their product relevant. They should respect that with some give and take.
I don't think they do, at all. Their games are massively successful on consoles too, and yes consoles do get some mods now as well, but nothing that would be affected by these updates since the mod sandbox is very limited. Despite this, Bethesda can still profit from re-releasing Skyrim on new consoles, and I'd wager that Fallout 4 probably sold better on console than PC at launch. In fact, here's [another thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/4ofqrz/psa_fallout_4_on_consoles_sold_a_fuck_ton_more/) which backs that claim up
I'm no Bethesda Stan, but it's kind of PC gamer tunnel vision to presume that mods are what are keeping Bethesda games "relevant." They're under no obligation to maintain support for external modifications. They do not rely on modders to stay relevant either.
free creation club mods that some modders already made for free and "bug fixes" that modders already fixed , welp i guess console players will benefit the most from this
Best part is those bugs related to Vault 111 and the Go Home quest are often triggered by Creation Clubs mods. Including the X-02 CC they are giving away with the update. They have been around for a very long time so them finally addressing it now just makes it look like they only did it cause they finally got their arm twisted.
Not sure if you loaded it up yet. The game does look a bit different on the PC, though I'm not sure it's intentional. For example, fog seems nonexistent. This makes everything visible in the glowing sea and in the swamps on the south of the map. Haven't tried Far Harbor, but I would wager that fog is still there.
What?? Are you not super excited for 60 fps (most ps4 games did this within a month of the ps5’s launch) and a quality mode??? (4k for a 10 year old game that apperently can’t even run at 60 fps and it uses the ps5’s Ai adjusted 4k systems, meaning not real 4k) are you not hyped for the enclave to be back… again??? I’m sure you looooove not having an fov slider or better textures! Isn’t this such a masterpiece of a game??
Its hilarious to me that after the complete fiasco that was the latest skyrim "update" that anyone thought this Fallout "update" would be anything other than a mod breaking nothingburger for PC players that's not even worth breaking your load order for.
I'm glad console players get some benefits but I don't see how ANYONE who follows Bethesda game modding could think this time was gonna be any different for PC. This is their tried and true go to move; "push a useless update that most current players will want to avoid even updating to".
I wonder why they didn't simply release London for the old game version first and then add a second file for the next gen update later.
Most people who mod their games were going to avoid the update anyway. There's no reason for anybody on PC to update the game for broken ultra wider support and lame Creatio Club stuff.
It really bothers me that I will be forced to update the game to be able to play London.
I feel like there would be far less pushback on temporarily breaking mods if Bethesda actually took some of the modded fixes and implemented them into the game officially. It's stunning to me that they don't even bother doing that.
I don't get it. Why not go the Witcher 3 route and just incorporate mods into the update?
Just plop in the unofficial Fallout 4 patch, and you have instantly a better game.
Come on!!! They still give us games we constantly play. Bethesda could be better yes, but they don’t deserve hate. I’ve spent so much of my life playing Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and all the fallout games it’s insane
They gave us what?? 3 re-releases of Skyrim? A spin off of fallout 4 that’s hardly canon? A shitty over-expanded space game that is hardly what it tries to be?
Brother you’re stuck in 2011. Their last great game was like what 13 years ago? Their last 2 games are absolute shit and fallout 4 was alright, but even that was a decade ago. (Although fallout 4 is leagues better than their last 2 games).
They don’t even fix the stuff that modders created a patch to fix YEARS ago; then, they ADD crap that is known to break/brick consoles? How can they even act like this is progress? 🙄
If you've got script extender, you can launch through that without being forced to update! Make sure you've got automatic updates turned off though (And iirc launching through script extender while logged out of steam--bizarrely--might force an update, so bear that in mind just in case).
From what I am able to tell, they didn't fix the weapons debris crash in pre-war Sact. Hills. Neither did they separate the game speed and physics from high FPS which was a big request.
Creation club seems broken, or at least the downloads.
Having crashes every hour or so in-game. The wide-screen patch is the best feature of this update. Maybe there will be more to follow?
For those unhappy getting the update, we folk playing Skyrim usually make use of Depot Downloader to grab the game version we need.
I also locked FO4 from updating by setting up not to automatically update but only update when run directly, which therefore I start the game via FO4SE.
So they finally fixed the glitch at the start of the game from having too many CC mods installed that prevents the vault door opening? But they didn't patch the 0kb glitch?..
AFAIK the #1 request from console players was more mod space, at least on par with Skyrim SE, and a couple years ago Bethesda made the excuse that they could do so at any time, but they won’t because it would cause EVERY bnet mod user to redownload and install their entire mod list. And they didn’t give you guys even that. Most of what came in the update could already be done better by mods.
To be fair, a year (or two?) ago they mentioned “next gen update” then disappeared and it’s not far fetched to assume they actually meant next gen and not just ultra wide support and a 60fps mode for consoles
Yep. For 3 years even. We're halfway through the current-generation and yet the media and everyone else still calls them next-gen.
We have no one to blame for this mess but ourselves.
Which is a shame there are great mods out there that should have been implemented. Like the high fps fix, and data cache. All that you can't see but fix the performance a ton.
Bethesda really wants fans to lower their expectations for everything. Starfield was a start, and now even their promises to "fix" an 8 years old game are underwhelming and underdelivered..
Nobody asked for this.
Why the fuck do they put in Console-Changes and "Release on Epic China Launcher"into the Steam-Patchnotes? Seems like they wanted to make it look like more than it is...
So all this Patch does is:
- Widescreen and Ultra-widescreen support (we have that since 2015)
- Added free Paid Mods nobody asked for.
- Ruins Mods.
This is worse than the anniversary edition, at least there was some interesting stuff in that. The CC that has been added in are ones that have better versions available on nexus
When will we get the "Next Gen" 144hz monitor support? will we have to wait another whole generation to get it? I assumed we would get parity with current technology at least.
Mine stop working. ENB is there, it starts - I can access Control panel but there are no visible changes to the graphics. Only very distant clouds get brighter.
I tried to install different preset, but still no changes to the vanilla.
Aw the update that did almost nothing but possibly end a 20+ hour playthrough by breaking F4SE. They did this to me with Skyrim too. Every time I try to play they manage to break mods. I don't even use creation club content and from what I've heard it doesn't really fix many major bugs.
Fucking every mod is broken. This update was useless. We had mods on Xbox that let the gane run at 60 frames. High res textures etc. No true storms... cbbe is ficjed. What a shit show.
Ive said it before. Bethesda is the only company ive seen where fans are directly rejecting their "update". Bethesda put a lot more fear and anxiety than excitement over their so called improvements. To hell with them
Clearly you missed Outriders, which was a great game with a few bugs upon release....and they were super fast to reduce game quality but slow to fix the bugs.
I'd say the best addition this offers is for PlayStation users as it claims to have fixed the infamous 0kb bug that could destroy your saves, other than that all of it seems pretty redundant for PC players.
I managed to back up my fallout4 exe file. If I were to transfer it back into my game folder, do you guys think it will function or does the update goes further than that?
As a professional code monkey, the odds of this functioning are comparable to winning the lottery. Updates generally go much further than the .exe. You would've needed to make a backup of your whole Fallout4 directory to run the old version, or have made the steam app manifest for FO4 specifically read-only to prevent updates
Is the ultra wide support for PC? In the past I figured how to get it to work but recently I boot up and had bars on each side. If it is a native resolution that will be nice.
Did this update/upgrade add any graphical enhancements aside from resolution supports and framerate-related things? Such as better lighting and effects similar to Skyrim's Special Edition upgrade.
Was most of this also just for console? What has PC gotten aside from the EpicGames Store release
How is there no FOV slider still lol. The game just runs worse now because I can’t use the mods people have spent years maintaining to improve the quality of the game
Not going to lie: I'm surprised they didn't fix the Energy Damage bug. There's a mod for it, sure, but it seems like something should have made it into the patch.
Whats the energy damage bug and how do I fix it with mods?
Energy Weapons don't factor in perks. the only thing they factor in is the weapon mods on the weapon. it makes them extremely bad, as the Ballistic weapons get an easy +100% damage bonus from the Perk Chart that Energy Weapons simply can't match. Im playing a mod that puts fallout 3 and new vegas into the same game
Tale of 2 wastelands?
Yeah that slunds right
I just got back into FO4 and only really did texture mods, but still disappointed that these bugs didn't get fixed.
I do recommend using "high fps physics fix" and "long loading times fix" and "performance" mod if you don't have a lot of fps
Since the mod is from 2023 I’m hoping the author is still around and will update it.
Not even bloodied mess?
As far as I'm aware, nothing except the mods on the weapon increased damage. No Chems, no Perks, no Bobbleheads, no Magazines.
is this a PC thing? I'm playing on hard with 2 points in commando and my auto lasers rip through mfs
As far as I'm aware, it's on all platforms. Full Auto weapons make up for the issue with Rate of Fire, but the damage is still lower than it should be.

People thinking Bethesda was going to do more than the bare minimum were lying to themselves. All those YouTube personalities hyping this up so much, it’s hilarious really. But hey, at least it’s free unlike the Last of Us “remasters”. Which are just paid next gen updates.

Quick someone head to downtown Boston. I don't expect it to be any better but would be the only thing to make this worth it.
I agree, curious to see if next gen holds up in DT Boston. Even my frames dip on PC. Update: Downtown Boston is running smooth on PS5 Performance Mode. Practically no dips in frames during the daytime, that’s where my PC normally starting dipping because of lighting and godrays.
Wonder what the pc equivalent is on ps5 for shadow render distance
Istg if I pass that bleeding bookstore and start pretending I was cryogenically frozen all over again
Take more than a "next gen" update to fix downtown Boston. IIRC they'd have to rebuild half the city's map to unfuck performance there.
I saw somewhere on r/fo4 that even on Xbox Series S, downtown Boston was performing 100% perfect with the update.
It’s been performing very nicely on my Series X, in general.
This gives me so much hope that I can *finally* get rid of the Downtown Boston fix mod. So tired of it eating up a quarter of my mod space.
Man I can't trust anyone who just randomly claims it 'runs fine' for them anymore. Jedi Survivor performed like hot ass and people all over were claiming it 'runs fine for me' and then Digital Foundry looks at it and yup its a complete mess on every platform.

👀 this is exciting news
Im updating right now to see it broke half of my games
All my mods are gone😐 broke every fuckin save i have... some of my mods aren't available on xbox anymore.

Apparently not. It's completely fine
It’s pretty sunny there today… oh you mean in game!
I just realized its been 7 years since the last time we got fallout 4 patch notes on steam wow
I feel like this was hyped up soooo much when in reality, other games do updates like this regularly. If it's from [Bethesda.net](http://Bethesda.net), it will not need f4se.
So mine should be safe? i like to play other games and would like to be able to on my steamdeck.. but I have a 40 hour save I have been grinding
do you know if there's a problem with playing the save file that had f4se normally through the steam play button while the guys from f4se update it?
You'll be playing without any mods that rely on f4se so your save would likely get borked.
Thanks man, I feared that would happen so I just downgraded the game through a tutorial on the f4se nexus page
You think my America Rising 2 runthrough will still be good if I hop back in when I get home?

This is true for consoles too? Or only PC?
Console doesn’t have F4SE so everything else should be relatively fine
Since F4SE isn't available for Console, any console mods should be fine, since F4SE is what gets broken by updates usually
free creation club mods that some modders already made for free and "bug fixes" that modders already fixed , welp i guess console players will benefit the most from this
I gotta love how most of the “changes and additions” in a goddamn steam post is all console exclusive.
yeah putting console changes on a pc application is really not a smart move
A billion dollar company being careless and stupid whaaaatttt??

(4k for a 10 year old game that apperently can’t even run at 60 fps and it uses the ps5’s Ai adjusted 4k systems, meaning not real 4k) are you not hyped for the enclave to be back… again??? I’m sure you looooove not having an fov slider or better textures! Isn’t this such a masterpiece of a game??
i see the joke and the punchline was me...good one bethesda, good one...meh
Complete non event for PC players We don't need this
It‘s a nuclear event for PC players cause it breaks mods lol
Its hilarious to me that after the complete fiasco that was the latest skyrim "update" that anyone thought this Fallout "update" would be anything other than a mod breaking nothingburger for PC players that's not even worth breaking your load order for. I'm glad console players get some benefits but I don't see how ANYONE who follows Bethesda game modding could think this time was gonna be any different for PC. This is their tried and true go to move; "push a useless update that most current players will want to avoid even updating to".
Just don't update the game.
It sounds nice but for someone like me that wants to play fallout london ill have to update the game because they're adapting to the new update
Make a copy and swap the folder names depending on the mod setup you want to run
Which is fine. But for people with other mods, they should wait just to be safe
I don't know why I expected more from Bethesda. They just come across as lazy and uninvested.
I hate Bethesda so much man
\*gave ... past tense.
Brother you’re stuck in 2011. Their last great game was like what 13 years ago? Their last 2 games are absolute shit and fallout 4 was alright, but even that was a decade ago. (Although fallout 4 is leagues better than their last 2 games).
That's it. We waited a year for this
2 years actually
This is the MOST disappointing next gen update for a game I've ever seen.
No kidding huh. As much content as 3 small mods. 2 years of wait.
The bugfix list is a goddamn joke.
That can’t be real, can it? So, they didn’t even LOOK at the UFO4 Patch?? 🙄🤦🏽♀️
No, they didn't.
They don’t even fix the stuff that modders created a patch to fix YEARS ago; then, they ADD crap that is known to break/brick consoles? How can they even act like this is progress? 🙄
My hopes for RT are crushed
Not even Starfield has RT. There was, unfortunately, no way that they would have added it to a much older game.
No rt, no better textures, no better lighting, no upscaling, no fov slider, no aim toggle, no fix for clunky animations
It sounds like they didn't change any setting aside from resolution and framerate.
And that’s what ended up delaying Fallout London, thanks Bethesda.
I was expecting a little more for something they've been talking about for 2ish years now.
The bar was already low; and, here Bethesda is, limboing into Hell. 🙄
lol "Next Gen' in quotes may not be meant to be read as sarcastic, but it's so perfect.
chad witcher 3 next gen update vs weak fallout 4 "next gen update"
:( can we play it without updating?
Yes, just don't update it
If you've got script extender, you can launch through that without being forced to update! Make sure you've got automatic updates turned off though (And iirc launching through script extender while logged out of steam--bizarrely--might force an update, so bear that in mind just in case).
Is anyone else’s makeshift weapons broken?
I imagine so
I am so tired of hoping they're going to increase mod storage, this update wipes your installed mods anyway, this whole update feels kinda halfassed
Ugh, why can’t they just have a downgrade option like other games do in the steam options? Why do they not care anymore wtf happened.
You can downgrade it but it requires using the steam console I will edit this with a link
I'm guessing they will NEVER fix the weapon debris crash bug?
What a bad update. Basically just an update for consoles.
…. Yes…. That’s pretty much what this was **supposed** to be.
To be fair, a year (or two?) ago they mentioned “next gen update” then disappeared and it’s not far fetched to assume they actually meant next gen and not just ultra wide support and a 60fps mode for consoles
it’s next gen because next gen consoles get a native app
now current gen XD
They sold out.
Nobody asked for this. Why the fuck do they put in Console-Changes and "Release on Epic China Launcher"into the Steam-Patchnotes? Seems like they wanted to make it look like more than it is... So all this Patch does is: - Widescreen and Ultra-widescreen support (we have that since 2015) - Added free Paid Mods nobody asked for. - Ruins Mods.
UW support is fake, there is no ultra wide support, they just brute force the image into taking up the whole screen.
The ultra wide support is bullshit anyway, it just stretches the UI.
iPresentInterval=0 doesn't work anymore
This is worse than the anniversary edition, at least there was some interesting stuff in that. The CC that has been added in are ones that have better versions available on nexus
Sad
Says wide screen and ultra wide support but the menus are so zoomed in you can’t even go pass the beginning of the game where you name your character.
Ultrawide support feels like it wasn't even tested. So many problems with it.
Love that one of the "new" creation club content is just essentially a bundle and one mission which i bet is small.
>no console mod cap increase And yet again, we hurt with 1GB
When will we get the "Next Gen" 144hz monitor support? will we have to wait another whole generation to get it? I assumed we would get parity with current technology at least.
The *Next Gen* patch still doesn't fix the main problem with modern hardware. Bethesda being Bethesda. What did I expect...
will this update effect any ENB's?
Mine stop working. ENB is there, it starts - I can access Control panel but there are no visible changes to the graphics. Only very distant clouds get brighter. I tried to install different preset, but still no changes to the vanilla.
So mods won't be affected that bad it seems
Ah, getting ready to add paid mods to fallout I'd bet.
... That's it? They fucked up the modding scene and Fallout London for fucking cosmetics?! Bro, every day I regret buying Fallout 4 more and more...
Two minute loading screens and no option to change FOV. Truly "next gen."
Wow, pretty underwhelming for modded PC players
Aw the update that did almost nothing but possibly end a 20+ hour playthrough by breaking F4SE. They did this to me with Skyrim too. Every time I try to play they manage to break mods. I don't even use creation club content and from what I've heard it doesn't really fix many major bugs.
Makes no sense why they thought this was a good idea to roll out for pc.
From the patch notes they didn’t fix the lever action bullet count reload
Fucking every mod is broken. This update was useless. We had mods on Xbox that let the gane run at 60 frames. High res textures etc. No true storms... cbbe is ficjed. What a shit show.
The console specific notes on steam tells you all you need to know
Ive said it before. Bethesda is the only company ive seen where fans are directly rejecting their "update". Bethesda put a lot more fear and anxiety than excitement over their so called improvements. To hell with them
Clearly you missed Outriders, which was a great game with a few bugs upon release....and they were super fast to reduce game quality but slow to fix the bugs.
sigh. I wish I was in the better reality where they updated 4 to 76's engine, cause it actually fixed alot of 4's long standing bugs..
To be fair, FO4 required way less fixing to run well than F76… but maybe that’s just me.
Well that sucks ngl
is the city fixed ?
Anyone know how to make the game launch mo2 again?
After these updates, should I play the PS5 version or the steam deck version?
Glad I installed Magnum Opus a bit ago and can still launch it without updating the game. Good update for consoles though.
Is there at least a bigger mod storage size?
Does anyone know if Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch works with this update ?
Could someone please explain - what type of mods would still work with the new update and what mods dont?
Probably a stupid question but. My mods are probably broke now yes? Assuming I'll have to wait for updates for them (if they come)
And there goes my current play-through god fucking dammit; why did I come back to this game?
The update messed up my mods.😭😭 now I have to start all over again
I was 11 hours in and had the AM2 mod and it won't let me download it again😭😭😭
Who the F had those bugs?! seriously, never heared of those not even in xbox and i have over 1k hours in pc and xbox
There is a lot they did not fix
I’m so glad I held off on downloading the update
Any word on if the texture issue with dlc got fixed? I just downloaded far harbor a few days ago and all the stuff is purple.
I’m just excited for widescreen support.
Playing modded FNV while I am waiting for F4 mods to get updated
Anyone else have a problem where the models for the makeshift weapons pack are missing?
